I love episode 1 to 3 but episode 4 is such a let down.
The apology scene on campus was so painful to watch. They bullied him, vandalised his door, and made his life miserable. Then suddenly, after overhearing a short conversation between Ice and another student about Professor Mint, they realised Ice was the real victim and decided to apologise. Watching all five bullies pour paint over themselves as a form of apology felt so empty. It was meant to be emotional, but instead it came across as awkward and forced. I couldn’t feel any sincerity from it, just discomfort.
The GL kiss and NC scene also felt misplaced. If they wanted to explore that relationship, they should have built the emotional connection first. There was no chemistry or buildup, so the kiss felt random and unnecessary. Instead of adding depth, it took me out of the moment completely.
Then came the balcony scene, which was supposed to be the emotional turning point between Saint and Ice. For three episodes, we watched Ice’s anger and heartbreak build because of the misunderstanding. The tension between them was so powerful, but in this episode, it all vanished in a few seconds. Just a quick explanation that Saint’s dad took his phone and sent those messages, and suddenly everything was fine. Something that was meant to be heartbreaking and meaningful ended up feeling rushed and hollow.
And that final drunk kiss… it left me feeling conflicted. Were they acting in character for the play, or was it real? Did they kiss because they finally cleared the air, or because they were drunk and confused? Ice still has a boyfriend, so the whole moment just felt wrong. If so, that makes it cheating, being drunk doesn’t excuse it. At least show him breaking up with his boyfriend first.
The only part that truly touched me was when they held hands and started crying as they shared how much they missed each other. That moment felt so real. Their emotions finally poured out, and both actors did such an amazing job showing their pain and love. It was raw, genuine, and heartbreaking to watch.
Overall, episode 4 left me sad, not because of the story’s tragedy, but because it lost the emotional depth that made the first three episodes so special. I just hope the next episode brings back the sincerity and connection that once made this series so moving.
Wow amazing i am so happy to see differents varieties new stories something new not like those typical bl stories…
I agree with you, 2025 really is the year of BL. There are so many great shows, and Khemjira is a masterpiece that absolutely deserves to be the highest-rated BL of the year.
Also, please make sure to include Love in the Moonlight (Thai), Secret Relationships (Korea), and Revenged Love (China) if you haven’t already. They’re my top three BLs this year.
7.8? Are you kidding me?! This is a mature non-university BL with a crime/police/forensic theme, and the first episode was an absolute bang! It deserves way over 8+ already. Please don’t rely on MDL ratings, this one’s got serious potential, and I’m rooting for it to climb well above 8!
Just read the plot and I’m already excited! It sounds a bit like Secret Relationships, my favourite Korean BL this year where three men are attracted to one, but this one seems way less toxic. No tags for possessive, abusive, or obsessive male leads, and no unhealthy main relationship either.
Just a light, non-toxic office BL with good vibes all around.
Honestly, it’s the perfect balance. Secret Relationships gave us all the messy, toxic drama earlier in the year, and now we get to end the year with something soft and refreshing.
Plus, two episodes per week? Thank you Korea! Because all my BL at the moment are one episode per week, and waiting seven whole days for just one episode always feels like seven years.
If you scroll up, you’ll see the aired date listed as November 15th. Then, just a few centimetres down, my comment…
All good, don't be sorry. Answering your second question, it’s going to be released on GagaOOLala. Since it’s rated 18+, I don’t think it’ll be available on YouTube and if it is, it’ll probably be a cut version. I got the episode duration from GagaOOLala.
Anyone know the duration of ? And where is it going to be released???
If you scroll up, you’ll see the aired date listed as November 15th. Then, just a few centimetres down, my comment mentions that each episode is around 10 minutes long.
Omg I’m having so much fun with this series! The enemies-to-lovers energy between Jinn and J is absolutely hilarious. They hate each other’s guts like it’s their full-time job 😂 My favorite scene has to be when they’re pretending to be all sweet and polite in front of their parents, then the second the parents leave, it’s back to pure chaos and insults flying everywhere. Honestly, this is exactly what I needed after a stressful Monday at work!
I love Chinese BL, but this one is so weak. The acting is good, but the plot is weak. You don’t just let a random stranger live in your house, and I have no idea where the story is going with the necklace. There’s only one episode left, and I feel like it’s such a waste of a really good cast.
Our first Korean BL BDSM drama, I can’t wait! I’m so excited. Rated R 18+ on GagaOOLala, but the only downside is only 10 minutes long episodes. But honestly, I’m still so hyped for this series! Only 12 days to go! 🔥💥

Wow, thanks for the link! I absolutely loved it. I’ve always preferred Chinese over Thai, and this version nailed it, it’s even better than the Thai original!
I really want to watch this but it's not available for me on iqiyi☹️ I guess I'll have to look somewhere else…
I watched it on iQIYI and it worked fine for me, maybe it’s blocked in your country. You can also watch it on their official YouTube channel, CHANGE2561, to support them!
For anyone who felt lost after the first two episodes like I did, don’t give up and definitely don’t judge it too quickly. That confusion you’re feeling is exactly what pulls you in. If everything were explained straight away, all the mystery and tension that make this genre so addictive would vanish.
Mystique in the Mirror is designed to leave you questioning, uneasy, and completely hooked. That is what makes it so fascinating. Honestly, I think the first two episodes were executed brilliantly. They set the perfect tone for a real psychological BL and left me dying to see what happens next.
