Rated it a perfect 10 at the beginning but dropped to an 8. Stunning scenery, amazing magic, and incredible chemistry from Au and Ongsa, but the plot became messy, the romance faded, side couples had no story, the action got weaker, and the ending felt rushed and unfinished. Such a waste of a strong cast and beautiful world.
So far I am watching
1. Therapy Game
2. Punks Triangle
3. Love Begins in the World of If
4. Chosen Home
5. School Trip: Join a Group
What is the other two I am missing?
For me, the most successful and addictive BLs, not just in China but everywhere, are built on red flag energy. Dark, manipulative, obsessive, possessive characters are what keep audiences hooked. Look at the biggest hits KinnPorsche in Thailand, this year’s Korean BL Secret Relationships, and a whole wave of Chinese BLs that trend because of morally grey leads, not perfect ones.
Green flag romances are sweet but usually boring. Red flag ones are the shows everyone talks about, rewatches, and obsesses over. You can agree or disagree, but the numbers and popularity don’t lie. Plutocharon just proves my point, both leads are too green and the series ends up forgettable.
Revenged Love, ABO Desire, Kill to Love and now this one are all Red flags, dark and manipulative leads are what make Chinese BL so addictive and unforgettable. The tension, the angst, the emotional chaos and the way these characters hurt and heal each other is what draws viewers in every single time. It keeps the plot exciting, the chemistry intense and the emotional payoff so much stronger.
And of course these characters are fictional and have nothing to do with real life relationships. That is why we enjoy them so much.

The story is intriguing, emotional, and layered in a way that pulls you in effortlessly. Both actors deliver incredible performances, capturing that mix of vulnerability, admiration, and unresolved tension perfectly. Their chemistry simmers quietly beneath every interaction, and I cannot wait to see how their feelings slowly transform into something deeper and undeniable. I am fully hooked already and what a fantastic start.
Pheem apologised again and again, carrying the weight of his mistakes with real regret. No one is perfect and sometimes love shows its strength not in perfection, but in the willingness to admit the hurt you caused and the courage to try again. Than had many days without him, days filled with silence and confusion, and in that space he realised how deeply he missed Pheem. Sometimes you only understand the depth of your love when the person you need is no longer beside you.
Their cuddling under the stars was so romantic and tender, like a promise that even after everything, love can still feel soft, safe and sweet. Two people holding each other as if the rest of the world no longer mattered.
My theory is that the father faked his death. It is his own hospital and the doctors follow his orders. I feel he staged the whole thing to expose Risa and Chet in the final episode. Pheem may end up inheriting the hospital but his heart will not be in that world anymore. He will choose Than instead. I can see them leaving everything behind, moving to a quiet village, waking up side by side every morning with nothing but peace, love, and the simplicity of a life they built together.
Sometimes money and power will not make you happy. Sometimes happiness is lying under the stars with the person you love, knowing that even after heartbreak and mistakes, you still found your way back to each other.
Their scene on the beach was almost overwhelming in how quietly emotional it was. The waves brushed the shore with a steady rhythm, like a heartbeat carrying their unspoken words. The wind wrapped around them, holding the silence that stretched between their breaths. And there they stood, so close, so vulnerable, both of them aching with things they had never quite dared to say. It was tender, raw, and beautifully honest in a way that felt impossible to look away from.
It was such a stunning episode, the kind that lingers long after it ends. And now I am just waiting, heart definitely too invested, for the moment they finally choose each other openly and let themselves call it what it is: love.
What hit me the most was Ping’s scene with his mother. I cried my eyes out. It was so emotional and they finally opened up to each other. There are always two sides to every story. Many people will hate his mother, but we have to remember she didn’t know her husband was a merman and had no idea how to cope with her son being half human and half merman. I’m so glad they opened up and were able to reconcile as mother and son.
And finally, many will hate Phraphai, but without a villain this show would be boring. I actually like his character because he lies, manipulates and is so possessive of Nawa, which makes the show even more addictive.
I love how unrealistic this episode is. In real life, if you dirty a shirt, you’d either take it to a self-service laundry, bring it home to wash, or just throw the shirt away. Who on earth goes to a love hotel and pays money just to wash a dirty shirt? The hotel will probably cost more money than that shirt.
It makes me wonder if Chiaki was acting clumsy on purpose so he’d have a reason to go to the hotel with Ae, or if he was genuinely clueless about going there just to clean a shirt. Either way, it was hilarious.
Just two souls, Minato and Shizuma, spending the day together at the theme park. It felt so sweet, almost like a little date, and it hit so much harder because of how gentle they were with each other.
When Minato opened up about not having parents to take him to places like this, it was heartbreaking. You could feel how much that moment meant to him, and it made the whole scene even more emotional.
And Shizuma… he’s dated girls before, but he finds Minato so captivating that he can’t look away. Hearing him admit he’s never stared at anyone this much was such a powerful moment.
I’m hurting for them, I’m rooting for them, and I’m so excited to see where their relationship goes from here.
It’s so ironic that the parents are forcing Saint and Lanee to get married. Saint is gay, Lanee is lesbian, and yet they’re being pushed into something that makes no sense. If this were the 1960s, I could understand it, but this story takes place in 2025, when same-sex marriage is already legal in Thailand. It’s hard to believe their parents still have that much control. They’re both adults, so why are they letting others decide their lives? If money is the reason and their parents are financially supporting them, I’d rather see them work part-time and build their own freedom than live in a marriage without love.
Then there’s Ice messaging Professor Mint, agreeing to meet him at the hotel. I can’t shake the feeling that it’s a setup, maybe Ice plans to record everything and expose him later. But Saint is worried, and if he goes to the hotel, he might ruin everything.
