Yes, they can do that, but why do they say he’s a virgin if not to imply something else!? They can make him a normal adult because any adult would think it’s normal for a 30-year-old man to have a past, and then stop making him act like a virgin. That way, they remove a stupid cliché. lol, the general idea from someone who doesn't like the virgin ML cliché , and also doesn't like MLs staying single for years after breaking up with the FL , while she's not a virgin and also doesn't stop dating after the breakup, is that it's not equality and ml have no dignity or personality, only born to love fl and accept anything from. her even disrespectful , and it makes MLs look like simps (and they really are simps most of the time). I understand fl still act traditional in this matter but even if it's too much, we understand women like men to be traditional in this cases that benefits them but it's too much that it becomes humiliation and disrespect that she don't do anything to show he's important for her also and he also has self respect to not just chase after someone who don't do anythingto say it.

And about the past of the leads not mattering , I just talk it should just be equal for both,

Not one still fighting their feelings toward their ex while the other is a virgin doing everything in the relationship, getting rejected many times, and having no dignity. And most of the time, it's the ML.

Yes, they complete each other: one is doing nothing or a little , and the other is doing everything he could to be with her . What better example of “completing each other” is there than this one act like it's not that important and the other is a simp without any dignity ?And “he didn’t go to her” is just bul.... because we all know he did. If they really wanted to change the dynamic, they would’ve written the FL as the one who flies to him, not the ML.And she’s the one who rejected him, so she should at least work a little to win him back. But in K-dramas, the ML never has dignity in front of the FL , He’s always on her call, even if she breaks up with him, and I bet if she did it , he would still run back to her immediately.

and also another point you miss is that fl should be a virgin, so ml will have exes while fl not to be equal to what I said, and you mention some dramas where fl not just have exes also, but she even cheating on the ml and she don't do anything. another dislike plot for me in American shows mostly, but they use it in kdrama like My Mister. his wife cheating more than a year and when he knows he don't do anything, even at the end it's not even shown if he divorce her or still cry about her cheating like a loser. What man accept to know his wife with his boss and he act like he don't know?!!! And just wait till she discover that he knows so he cry about it!!

Beyond Bar drama another loser ml that even after divorce and she left him like that, he still love her and can't move on, while she get pregnant from his friend and throw it on his facew, he can't wash that humiliation with all soape she make for him 😅 he really make me frustrated how he act sad and weak in front of both of them and can't win an argument the irony he's a big lawyerj🙃

This cliché in recent cdramas about reverse harems, I don't like. I like equality in the relationship between ml and fl and maturity, but I didn't find any cdrama with this plot. Mostly ml falls first and does more and has to fight with sml and suffer because of her lack of boundaries with other men and jealousy.
If you watch Road Home, it has a great couple, especially fl, who shows her love by fighting for ml, not thinking her independence and business are more important or letting only ml do more in the relationship while she has other stuff to accomplish.
