I'll watch anything with Shawn, but boy, I'm having a tough time getting through this. The SML is making me nuts, how immature can this man be, not to mention egotistical. On epi 15 and still haven't figured out why the ML broke up with her 8 years ago. When will that be revealed?

It's been 3 months since I watched it so I'm not real clear on when things happened, but I can tell you, it was at least epi 27 or even further. There wasn't alot of kissing scenes in this show. I never thought I'd watch it all the way through, but was glad I did.

I originally thought it was going to be a comedy. when he got the first guy and used the tazer on him it was funny, and his expression was comical. Then it got into the rough stuff, and I could see, no this wasn't going to be a comedy. I'm glad I watched it, but other than the very first guy, this definitely couldn't be called a comedy in any way.

just started it and don't think I can take the FL cutsie voice for any length of time, guess finding out that its like this through the whole show has just told me whether I need to watch or not.

I'm relatively new to kdramas and only watched this because I saw a short clip and my first thought was that man is fine. And up until now, I have mainly watched rom-coms. This is a whole new game-changer as you said. It's one of those that makes me glad I'm retired and can sit in front of the tv for as long as I want in the next couple days. I'm definitely going to have to find more from Namkoong Min.

watched this on YouTube and apparently it was subbed by AI which did a completely shitty job. The parents sucked big time. I will never understand how adults in the Asian society kowtows to their parents and the parents continue to treat them like they are 6 yrs old. I've been told it's all about respect, but where is the respect for their children. These characters are 29 and over and still being treated like they are children. The producers of this thing are ridiculous, the "scheming" woman was supposed to be rich, but she never changed her white outfit, she wore it through the majority of the film. The FL's parent's throwing that rock mat on the floor for her to kneel on, sorry, but I would have said to stick it up their butts, then locking her into a locked room for 2 days and she comes out and still listens to the lies her father tells. Is it just this film or is it the whole society that is just off kelter to us Westerners.

I'm sort of lucky in the fact that I'm relatively new at these kdramas and cdramas, so watching shows from the early to mid 2000's is ok for me. I just happened on this one and while watching the first 3 epi I didn't think this was for me, I thought well, I'll skip to the end to see what happens. I skipped to epi 15 and watched a few minutes of it and told myself "get back to where you left off so you know what's going on" and oh boy, I'm so glad I did. This was really a good show and I'm so glad I happened onto it.

was flipping through YouTube and came across this, although it isn't listed under the correct title, spend a bit of time to find this and fortunately it's on Viki. I'm a huge Zhang Han fan so of course I had to watch. I'm on epi 14 and just don't know how much more I can deal with. First off, for me, the mother makes me want to smack someone, her especially, then there is the ex-boyfriend, the one I call the Balless Wonder, what man with any balls drops to his knees the instant the wife tells him to, I'm hoping he will finally grow a set and get rid of her, but I doubt it because it seems she holds the purse strings. So many people posting in here have skipped so many epi to get to the end, I think I will to. Maybe if I find the ending pleasing I'll go back and watch the missed epi.

ok, I'm on epi 13 and only stayed this long for Zhang Han, but think I'll follow your lead and skip to the end. I don't know how much of this I can take.

just started watching this and am on epi 13 and wondering the same thing.

I'm on 12 and after reading some of these reviews, I'm debating about how many epi to skip just so I can see what happens without having to drag through all of this.

I'm having trouble figuring out which is the SML - her ex boyfriend (the balless wonder) who kneels every time the shrew he married tells him to, or Dai Jing Jie. So far, I'm on epi 12 and Dai Jing Jie hasn't become selfish or psycotic, maybe a little stalkerish though, so who is the 2ML in your opinion. I'm really thinking about skipping about 30 epi just to see how it ends.

You're right, she didn't tell them, which is something I don't get in these shows. And I do believe the parents would have said just that, "get over it".

I try to remind myself that it's a whole different world in the East compared to the West where we are so used to seeing nudity or at least partial nudity and when a couple is in love doesn't matter whether they are married or not they actually kiss.

I have to comment on the ML's mother. So many of these shows, the mom is so completely unlikable you want to take an axe to them. This mom, she was the best. She fell in love with the FL early on and she never took a step wrong between them. She made me laugh when she found them in bed and when the ML was brought home from the hospital, thought she was going to have to knock dad upside the head, he was a bit clueless, it took him a minute to "get it". I loved the show, yes there were parts that just made me cringe or fast forward through, especially the second couple, the screeching young woman who apparently didn't have a functioning brain and the husband who was a door mat and let her get away with her nastiness. The third couple were sweet/ I think one of the most surprising parts was that the main couple actually had sex, not that we saw anything, but it was evident that they had more than platonic shy kisses. The ML was often shown in just a towel or just pants and the FL didn't die of embarrassment, it was sort of refreshing to see adults acting like adults.

Same here, I normally will watch anything he is in, but this one, even by the 2nd epi I don't think I can stomach much more. The two women FL & SFL are just to over the top for me, I just cringe at all their antics.

I've skipped so many epi just to get to the part where they are together, kind of a disappointment to see the two other couples take so much time away from them. This is just another one that the parents, the father in this case, makes me want to rage. He doesn't find out that his "son-in-law" cheated on her until epi 26, up till then he didn't care what her feelings were, he wanted this outstanding attorney to be his son-in-law, it wasn't because he wanted his daughter to be happy because he could have cared less about her happiness, he wanted the prestige of this fancy attorney. I was waiting for him to drag her down to the Bureau and force a marriage on her. Then he doesn't want her with the ML because of past family issues. The one benefit is that the daughter FL doesn't put up with his crap.

Love Designer is one of my favorites, especially when the 2 leads fall on the couch getting it on and he looks up to see Mom sitting on the other couch.

I thought the wife had beaten her, but it was the wrong wife, LOL. She really needed to figure out that being a married mans side piece wasnt healthy for her.
