On epi 34, and I don't know how he put up with her. She was the one who lied to him yet she expects him to do all the apologizing and I know it's a whole different culture but how does a late 20 something still act like a 12 year old when it comes to physical contact. What made me laugh was all the times they were having private conversations and it either ended up on the Bluetooth in the car or the speaker phone for the whole office to hear. I hated the niece in the beginning, she was your typical spoiled brat, but she ended up one of my favorites, she was more mature than the FL. To be fair to all those that said they dropped it, I did ff through a lot of it.

Watching it for the first time right now. I've heard so much about it, seen so many video clips, finally gave in and watched and can say that I'm glad I am. I think this will be one that I re-watch.

watching for the 2nd time, I can't believe how long this is, when it was only on for 2 months. I love the two ML, there was lots of complicated ups and downs, alot of characters I really didn't like and was so happy to see karma come bite them in the butt. This is the 2nd cdrama I ever watched about 6 months ago. This is the one that I learned the 2ML is usually a nice guy who doesn't get the girl and you feel for him. This is the one I learned that the parents try to plan their children's lives, they don't even care whether the child will be happy, it's what they want and that is all that matters. I know at some point I'm going to start skipping epi because I really want to push the BFF under a bus.

It ran 7 days a week for for two months, so like an American soap opera, but also played on the weekends.

Just watching it for the second time because it's been quite a while since I watched it and I love your suggestion of a romance between the two.

just watched the Chinese version of this. Is the FL in the Thai version as immature?

someone mentioned her not being smart, I don't think "intellectually quick" is an issue, this girl is just down right immature, she has no confidence, she allows everyone to push her around. She lets him tell her she's stupid, she lets her friends tell her how her relationship should be even though neither of them seem to be in a healthy one, or at least not her cousin. As time goes by she allows his sister and Lishu to tell her that her clothes aren't right, that she needs to quit her job and let him support her. At the point I'm at in the show, I don't know if they are trying to be a help or if this is their way to get her away from the brother with the hopes of him coming to Lishu basically they are telling her she is inadequate and she's buying it. They've all made her believe the one thing she is good for is picking vegetables out of his food. When does someone like her get a clue and figure out that she needs to grow up and be an adult with a brain.

Every time she starts thinking in her head I just cringe and have to ff thru it. I don't know how old she's supposed to be, but I'm thinking mentally about 12 yrs old. Even her friends are childish. Zhang Han is one of my favorite actors, but even in this I sort of shutter, he had so little emotion to anything it's hard to watch.

Thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that and her sort of a waste of film. She kept threatening the FL so I expected a little more of the obsessed fan stuff, but she just disappeared so had me confused. Thanks.

Just finished watching, so glad it wasn't longer than 16 epi. I can see why people didn't get the title, where did the "Cunning" part come in. I really expected more antics from her to get back at him, but other than the lilies, there wasn't much to talk about. I also didn't get the hate for the SML, until about epi 14 when the little jerk decided if he couldn't have the girl, then the ML couldn't have the company. What did surprise me and shouldn't have is that the SFL who hated the way her father did business turned out to be exactly like him...again, if she couldn't have the man then he couldn't have the company. Her father was the typical business father, marry my daughter and I'll give you money, ewww. The FL made me want to pull my hair out half the time. She knew that the SML was in love with her and instead of telling him flat out that she only thought of him as her friend, she just let him go along thinking that at some point she would be in love with him, which in turn made me feel sorry for him until he pulled his stuff with the company. I thought the SFL was sly all the way through, yes, she had a bad thing happen to her, but that didn't entitle her to have the man. I was glad to see the whole company thing work out in the end and glad to see that there was a happy ending. It did have all the FEELS as someone else mentioned, it made me laugh and it made me cry. I was glad to watch the whole thing, but I probably won't watch again.

I've read through so many of the comments and didn't think this was going to go anywhere and I would probably drop it, but I am finding it terribly funny. The one thing I didn't understand was that one woman, the kinda crazy one, the stalker woman...unless I missed an epi that I can't find, they sort of dropped that story. If I missed something would someone please let me know what the deal was with her and where did she disappear to. I've enjoyed it and glad I finished it off.

I would love to see them in a contemporary story where they didn't act like shy 13 year olds when it came to a connection between them.

yes, that means wise up. Make a choice for your own life not to please someone else for their selfish purposes.

Just now finished watching and if I could find 10 more like this I would be a happy camper. I enjoyed this so much, it wasn't to campy, it wasn't to serious, great relationships between all the characters, just all around good fun to watch.

I have to say, I loved it. I loved both leads, I loved the whole investigative unit, they were funny. I was surprised to learn who the killer was, I actually thought it was the doctor. I loved the relationship between the leads and that there was no triangle, except the story did have me wondering for a few epi if the chef was going to make a triangle. I suspended belief about the seeing the smells, to me it just made the show more entertaining. And yes, the chef had a body to die for and is gorgeous. I was sorry to read about Park Yoo Chun's difficulties and that he is out of the business, I did like his character and looked for more of his work, unfortunately after this there is only 1 more and then none. The last epi was just nothing but funniness. Everything had been settled except that they couldn't make it out of town for their honeymoon. Over all, this to me has been an enjoyable watch and even though I know the outcome, I'll watch again.

I really wish when they translate and put these in subtitles they had people doing it who actually understood the English language. Half the time they call a female him or he, I watched one that the man was being described and he had a uterus, LOL....ok, guess in this day an age it's possible, but not in the context of the story.

Please someone tell me that ML finally kicks his meddling mother out of his life. I just don't understand, he knew she instigated the lawsuit and still nothing. I really need to know what happens with her before I go any further and go completely nuts screaming at the TV for him to wise up.

I stopped at epi 21 because I realized it wasn't complete, it was dropped weekly and I wanted to binge it all at once. Even at epi 21, I wanted the ML's mother to be taken to some deserted island and dropped there. She was the most annoying character in the show. Came back into epi 22 and she's even worse if that's possible. I'm definitely going to be FF through her scenes.
