Watching this version for the first time. I already watched the Chinese version and although I really liked it, I don't think I cared for the ML and FL in that one like I do in this version. I'm at epi 12, the heartbreaking part. I don't remember what happened with Anna in the Chinese version but I really hate her and want something terrible to happen to her, I doubt it will but I can hope. I definitely think this is the better version of the two.

I'm watching this version now after seeing the Chinese version. Could you please tell me if I'm going to be heartbroken by this one, does she lose the baby? Thanks. Nevermind, I'm on epi 12 and the baby is gone, I'm heartbroken. This is so sad.

Wow, Thank you so much. You really went to a lot of work to put this list together. I really appreciate it. I have some of these on my list already but the majority I'll have to add. I have Viki, iQIYI, Netflix, Prime, Hulu and Tubi, which all have some shows on them. I just got iQIYI so I could see the Johnny Huang firefighter movie, then dropped it back to just be able to see the free shows. I've seen both K2 and Healer, which I loved also saw Descendants of the Sun twice already. I've also watched Love Like the Galaxy, another one that I'll watch more. I really love Zhoa Lu Si so I've watched a lot of her costume dramas and I especially loved her drama Dating in the Kitchen, Just started with The Legend of the Blue Sea. I sort of go back and forth between cdrama and kdrama. Have seen on jdrama that I absolutely loved My Happy Marriage. Have seen Coffee Prince, another one I loved and the very first Asian drama I watched was Loving, Never Forgetting with Jerry Yan...I think that's an older one, but that got me hooked. I've watched a couple of his that were pretty good. I never thought of following the screen writers, but what a great idea. I keep a list of what I've watched and what I want to watch, I probably have over a 1000 now, LOL. I look at it and wonder if the list will ever end, but I don't think so, LOL. I have My Father Is Strange on my list. Honestly I'm so new at all of these that I like just about anything now. It's going to take me a while to weed out the types I like and don't like. Thanks.

Thank you, yes I have seen K2 and loved it. Any recommendation you can give me is greatly appreciated. I've become addicted to these, my son says I need an intervention, LOL.

When do they finally get together? Doe this have a happy ending and is there anyone he can trust, on epi 8and doesn't look like family or doctors can be trusted

I'm relatively new at these wonderful kdramas, so I read thru all the posts in here and so many of them were saying "don't bother". Well, I'm glad I'm stubborn and like my mom said, I don't listen. I'm on the last epi and I'm so glad I watched the whole thing. I love the two main characters. I love how she comes back in time by a year and decides to change her life and take revenge on them for the way they had treated her. Until the 16th you don't really learn why he's so willing to help her through all this. So many people said that it was like some old soap or old Korean tv. Well, since I've only been watching them for 6 months or so, I don't know what the old shows are like. This one, to me, has so many twists and turns, you know who the bad guys and gals are, but new bad things just keep popping up. Again, I'm so glad I watched the whole thing.

as far as I'm concerned you can't go wrong with a Johnny Huang drama. Love everything about him.

on epi 16 for the second time and I can't even stand the best friend, kind of nut is putting it lightly in my opinion, she's an arrogant witch who treats people like they should be her puppets. in this epi she's so jealous of her friend finding a man to care about that she will break off their long relationship because the FL tells her to stay out of the mess they are in.
If they don't respond the way she thinks they should, then she cuts them out of her life. I agree about both the mother and the bf, to obnoxious characters that she would be better off without.

I've watched a couple in the last month that both sets of parents were normal human beings, allowing their adult children to act like adults and chose their own life partners, which a nice change of pace. This one couldn't have been more cringy, why didn't mom just sell her.

I will watch anything Johnny Huang is in and I'm on the 2nd time to see this and had forgotten just exactly how annoying the friend was and of course who could forget that mother. I'm not a fan of the FL, so she is just as annoying as the other two women.

I'm watching for the 2nd time and I had forgotten just how annoying that mother was. And the fact that the father stands around and mops the floor and smiles like a moron, is just to much. Both parents are annoying, the mother for the way she acts and the father because he can't find his *alls in her handbag. The mother is so obnoxious, I don't know how the FL doesn't finally yell at her and tell her to shut up. They get away with it because no one ever tells them to stop and mean it.

Yes, al the couples who should be together are or in my imagination they are heading that way. A very happy ending

Just finished. I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. Loved that they made Tang Xin a strong woman who knew her own mind. Love the two main characters, especially love Miles, will watch anything he's in. It took some time for me to really like her, but then she wouldn't have been the strong woman she was if she'd been a pushover and let him into her life so quickly after being rejected. The kisses between the two were hot for Chinese dramas. Started out thinking DingDing was going to be one of those obnoxious rich girls, couldn't be further from the truth, she was very entertaining, except when she did that normal baby talk. I really like her and Director Lu together. Most of all I love the parents on both sides. They are so open and accepting, not something we see much of in these films. I especially loved the relationship between the 3 women. All in all this was a very enjoyable drama and although it could have been cut down a few epi, it was a good watch.

only on epi 5 and Pan Duo is a creepy little stalker. I don't even find her entertaining the way she pops up every time the ML tries to talk to the FL, the way she looks at the SML is just cringy. And then the baby talk, that is really bad. Now into epi 14 and she's still just as creepy.

I was surprised that anyone made that comparison. RM is hot and definitely manly, while this ML is childlike and looks like a 15 year old boy, not a bad thing mind you, but certainly doesn't remind me of Namjoon.

just finished watching kdrama Oh My Venus where the characters were adults and acted like it, quite refreshing.

Thanks. I'll check that out. I would love to know if they are planning a second part to end this show what many of us think of as "properly". As much as I don't want to watch because he might not come back, I do love their story just from the shorts I've seen, so I'll take a deep breath and watch.
