She is betting that a divorced princess has more value than an illegitimate daughter. If you are wondering how does castle beauty run when she is playing princess, don't need to overthink this, we saw there is a board she has a team to help her in her absence.

Wow I just came in to check the ratings SHOCKKKKKKKKKKKKK. This drama was enroute to be one of the best kdramas ever made for like 70% (ratings at one point was at 9 plus) and they dropped the ball so badly there was no saving it, it was sooooo bad it hurt your heart. Reminded me of GOT. This drama had the best pilot episode I have ever seen, regardless of how bad it all ended, you cannot take away from the fact that WTPR's first episode will forever be iconic.

I agree with this assessment it didn't quite reach the heights I thought it would, but the drama is not done yet there is still time/hope. But people are lowballing it worst than it actually is act like they got betrayed by a loved one lolzzzzzzz

ok all those like me if you are just coming in to watch season 3 you might struggle to understand her. this is me I just dont get her vibe, I think previous seasons would have explained her nature. this is just my trouble being a new viewer.

I think he is programmed to lose on purpose, not over shine his older brother such behaviors he has extended to other powerful people in his life. On the other hand it has perhaps made his enemies underestimate him. I still have hope the story gives him more power up moments to show that he is a solid character with layers, and not like how the preview says being handsome is all he is good for lolzzzzzzz. That felt like 4th wall breaking moment.

we can put money on ML won't die, this is rom-com leads won't die in such genres they are guaranteed happy endings. but villains can die, i bet the queen mother or her father is biting the dust.

Can you judge it completely till it is finished. Maybe the ending will surprise us by subverting the cliches, jury is out.

nice attitude, at this day and age to expect romance to surprise you is not going to happen, every formula has already been cracked, applied and seen. the only thing we can hope for is good acting, decent execution of ideas, I don't need reality but show me what is the show's internal logic and is it applied consistently to drive the plot forward. On all 3 counts PC has so far passed let's see what happens in the future.

Why would you call woman having it all being woke. In Netherlands Royalty, king and queen both have private jobs, pilot and in economics respectively, so it is possible. Besides dramas like this can be aspirational. BTW it is not called screwing over anyone if one is incompetent to hold the job, if not C.E.O of her father's company she deserves to head the company she created.

I hope I-An gets to be king, this precious doesn't deserve this kind of life bound by that witch of his mother. I hope his mother is banished/arrested, I-An and Huiju adopt him and raise him will all the happiness/love baby deserves.

If you see single episode length it adds up to the usual 16 episodes. I agree airing on Disney kills the buzz, that has been the trend for previous successful kdramas.

I think the former queen's car accident is a red herring, they put that in to draw parallels to confuse the audience. I believe the past was an accident, present is deliberate by Lord Grandpa. I also think fire was king's suicide, Queen walks away with her cruel declaration it is better if he is dead and he gives into despair. From what we see of him in the past he looks slow, incompetent, afraid compared to his talented, vibrant younger bro. Perhaps CP had mental illness, and given the restrictions he was never allowed to get help. I-An could have known this hence why he believes he should be king, similar to Huiju, they do not want to usurp power because they are greedy it is just their elder siblings are unfit for their positions.

From her POV she is not going to be married forever, this will only become a problem once she realizes she wants to stay married forever but to do that she has to give up her life. Since we are guaranteed a happy married ending, I hope both get what they want, he becomes king and they somehow find a way to give her a career as well as being Queen. This is fictional show writers can make it work. I think I would be disappointed if he becomes a dummy husband when his wife has high powered career or she becomes an ornament queen when he is king.

I agree drama so far is good. But the modern OST is a let down, the traditional tune they have for the queen is fine.
