Actress is fantastic, her comedic timing on point. And the villain gives me the heebie jeebies, well acted. So far it feels very fast, hopefully they can maintain this tempo.

This time I'm here to rant, no pretending otherwise! So this review won't be a balanced, well reasoned, post ,…
I agree with many of your points, I genuinely enjoyed first half of this drama and I gave it every benefit of the doubt but what happened in the second half is indefensible. Goong is a perfect example that if you create a modern day monarchy with no depth then the characters should have depth, story must come from somewhere.

Episode 11 sponged up all my disappointments, I genuinely sat back and enjoyed the finale without prejudice and judgement. They made me smile, I will die on that hill they had chemistry. Let us not depress ourselves about the non-existent plot, we had some good times did we not.

I understand genuine PC shippers are feeling sad, sigh lets inject some hope, things I appreciated, leads didn't confess/make love when drunk (glory glory hallelujah there were no drunk scenes), it was romance of adults with a mature, friendly, effortless vibe, leads open communication, respect trust they had for one another never wavered, no separation.

There are people who do not drop a drama easily, especially after watching 9-10 episodes. They started it with…
I concur, when I loved it I said it, I invested my time and I will be honest now as I was then.

You cannot man the gate anymore, gate has crashed, haters will flood the comments and genuine criticism will also be seen as hate and everyone pull each other's hair out. If a drama is truly great it will survive the onslaught.

Can we be reasonable, I defended this drama from the beginning, there were many things I enjoyed, I appreciated the execution of many scenes (I even defended subway ad scene), admired the chemistry between IU and BWS (I love the peaceful vibe between them). But now how can we defend the indefensible. I agree there was an army of haters out to get this drama from the start, and they will pile on now but that does not mean those who genuinely loved this drama can pretend it is good now just to cancel the hate. If we lie now that PC continues to be good, then when we said it was great will become the lie. We must swallow this disappointment, wishing BWS and IU best of luck in their next projects.

There was some logic in that this is an old historical building, they are not living in modern premises. But for the author to use the same gimmick 3 times is lazy writing. I don't want to be cruel, but I am sorry if this script won the MBC prize, can someone tell me how to enter this competition I have dozen ideas maybe I can win.

not just the writing getting worse, but also the direction and editing is past the point of being simply choppy…
I agree BWS is lot better actor than this, his character had so much potential at the start, they turned his ambition into laziness, his strengths into weaknesses, his intelligence into cluelessness, his pride into dullness. The only thing going for him he is a good kisser and he looked damned fine in those suits. I will not fault BWS for this mess.

I don't want to be a bummer but PC just crashed at the end (in writer's words burned down), the plot has turned to dust and I don't see how one single episode can rescue this mess. I had such high hopes from the start and I defended it for so long, and there was still some spark left after episode 7. Did the author think just because you bomb a building 3 times in a row it will light up the drama.

I'm not hating on this drama but I have to agree with some criticism. I like watching it but can't lie that this…
I agree with much of your criticisms; IU being a miscast, BWS is inactive in the plot, GSY gives a standout performance, and the baby king wins the crown of being show stealer. The chemistry shared between BWS and IU is not the usual passionate vibe we are used to, it is effortless ease of being in each others company, this kind of energy might not rock your world, but I find it strong and reassuring. PC has been a fun ride and I defend it for the things it got right, but it dropped the ball in fleshing out the plot. There is a world here that is rich but we barely scratch the surface, give it to the Chinese, this type of genre is their bread and better. PC made a mistake where Goong got it right, lean on the romance heavily if you don't want to do world building. I will continue enjoying watching this drama but that does not mean I am blind to its faults.

I could be wrong but I have a feeling we're going to see more of the hunting scene from episode 1. I think that…
I also think PM is smarter than Jinmu, who is so dumb he hires a weak willed weepy girl to carry out his assassination plan I mean he didn't even both to cover his tracks, not to mention the car accident was easily traced even if the perpetrator is dead they can still find the master mind. PM is probably a double agent.

I'm lost can anyone tell why their secretaries are swapped
I-An is showing Do what work royals do, how the system operates, so that she can in turn guide Huiju. Choi is training Huiji on royal protocol, the do and don'ts. So ultimately it is for the benefit of Huiju. I think switch is not meant to be permanent, both the secretaries are working towards helping Huiju function in royal life.

No? It's 99% Aurum from I-AN's private residence, imho.
I agree on this, there will be no surprises here. In fact I don't think there are any surprises left.

Better being lame than useless. I like that he has a role in the plot, if he wasn't doing this what would he be…
Your expectations of him is not who the character is, when was he ever described or shown as competent politician, or rational, or sane, or some great devoted friend. His father is the great politician not him he is shown to be scheming at times even lazy at his work, which rational guy not confess his crush for 10 plus years then goes after her once she gets married, his actions were never rational or sane mostly calculative, as far as friendship qualities goes did I miss a scene did he do some great act of service for the FL, occasional acts of kindness does not prove a great friend.

I’m wondering why Ian and Huiju were not able to discover the truth about that maid, Areum (was that her name?),…
He already know everything.
