This is fun I am glad they are making it clear, this is one of the strengths of this couple good communication, forthright, they don't leave each other guessing. Of course none of this is going to happen hahaaaaaaaaaaaa.

At first I was like wtf is she doing, then she said: “This is how you protect someone. You go on the offense.…
A well written scene that had a deeper meaning without being spelled out. When he got scratched and she taunted him, it meant if you are on the defensive you will be too late to respond and will get hurt. If you are out front you can better protect yourself.

I am sorry but I laughed at white truck.. that was so absurd and classic
Writers know we know that they know how we feel about the white truck of doom, it is an inside joke now.

Yes good catch we will see a flashback of a plan. I wish whole thing was a plan hahahaaaaaaa, like he pretended to call off the engagement, trick QM to send her an invitation, then they finish off with a dance and public proposal. But we can give him a pass if he wasn't by affected by her near death experience and backed off then he would be too ruthless of a character.

I’m hoping that Hui Ju and her brother become closer and care for each other
He suggested to his father his sister might have taken drugs and it wasn't with the concern for someone with a substance abuse problem. BTW what is up with the assistant asking her if she was drunk driving, seriously huiju must have a bad reputation if they think she is capable of this.

this has been suggested many times before but why can't MDL change this?

A separate post to appreciate what a precious child the young king is, a tender heart, he knows difference between right and wrong without anyone teaching him. He must be protected all costs.

This wasn't a strong episode, episodes 3 and 4 ride was smooth but today we didn't just hit a speed bump more like metaphorically thrown out of the ride. This was a tricky episode to direct, too many things happening and some nonsensical things. I accept that this is a fantasy realm, but it has to follow its own in-world logic.

Why is the accident not investigated by the PM's office, wellbeing of the crown is state responsibility, also PM's beloved Huiju was involved and when he knows the car was tampered with he should have be on this case like bees to honey. Different characters have different strengths and they each serve a specific purpose in the overall plot, stripping something away from SML and giving it the FL does not empower her character it only weakens the overall screenplay. I like PC but I will not be blind to its faults. This is such a clumsy setup to kill someone that it has to be done by the stupidest person on the planet.

ML is suffering PTSD so he was mellow throughout which is acceptable. I did enjoy the scene between the couple in Prince's private residence, the archery, the cat, it revealed deeper differences between MLFL, and drove the plot forward. Prince has a fear of death not necessarily his own and Huiju has nothing to lose, hence they approach problems differently, he is passive to a fault and she is aggressively dangerous.

The parallel of him chasing her for a meeting just like she did once was nice, and the words that granted the audience was their own words said back to each other. I like how they are mirrors of each other in some aspects but at the same time their personalities are total opposites.

If you read the character gist released by the production house for SML, its written there how he is very difficult…
He is a career politician just like the queen with a legacy of family having a prestigious job. His bottom line is his job.

I wonder if this is why they sold streaming rights to Disney instead of Netflix/Viki.

You've got the gist of it. Although nothing is firmly established, I'd like to think that she must know about…
These rules are not laws they are general practices and they can be changed. She might be aware of them and is full well prepared to not follow them, seeing her personality who dares to stop her.

They will keep him flexible in the plot so that he can be good or bad according to the scenario and depending on who he aligns with. One thing for sure he ain't getting the girl so it is just a matter of what will he be left with at the end, PM or no PM. My gut feeling tells me the reason he never confessed is because she was never good enough for him based on the social circle he is part of, his desires does not trump his social programming and the obligations to his family status. But the moment he fears losing, jealousy overpowers his prejudice. Just a guess.

Doubt they will ever hate each other, different priorities, misunderstandings, disappointed in one another but that is all normal in a relationship. If a couple truly hated one another there would be no respect hence no love is possible.

This they say her brother’s second marriage , reportedly his ex wife also suffered so why did no one tell the…
This is in no way her fault. She cannot police her brother, do you expect her to spend her life/time warning every woman her brother sees. If anything it goes to how the young man was raised and that is his parents' responsibility, even that after a certain age an adult is accountable for his own actions. Blaming 'bystanders' is muddying the issue, this is not a hit and run case, domestic abuse/assault is a personal battle, it happens unseen behind closed doors and we have to encourage/motivate victims to come forward give them strength to fight for justice. Instead of talking about victims, this vile man's crimes, how is SK justice system prosecuting this case we are discussing Jisoo's culpability.

My 2 cents-First fans need to be less harsh/rude to people who are making a valid criticism. Just not here even…
I feel BWS needs more time to improve his skills in playing a romantic lead (as a villain he was close to perfect), and I believe he has the talent to do it. In totality he hasn't acted much as a hero, with practice he hopefully will get better. He has got the single eyebrow raise down packed, it is lethal and one cannot deny he is gorgeous doing it.
As for IU this character is not her comfort zone, but I appreciate her for trying. When she is in those soft hanbok dresses or jeans, she blooms that is her strength, but when she is in business wear it feels more forced, and I think part of the problem could be they got her styling wrong. This does not mean IU has botched this role, nope absolutely not. IU and BWS are both fine, carrying the show, I am enjoying PC it is a good show but I can also recognize where the pit falls are.

No lie. It's getting a little easier with Amazon Prime, Viki, and Netflix. Netflix is pulling really old Japanese…
It is good news bad news, Japanese by not catering to international streaming have protected their content ethos, rooted in their cultural vibes, it is authentic specific and unique to them only. Look at kdramas if you get Netflix Disney power, they will force you to change, suddenly everyone is telling how you should make your shows more likable which includes the know-it-all audience.

Extremes in MDL are the majority, those who love blindly and those who criticize with no common sense, noise drowns out sensible engaging thought provoking conversations.
