But at this stage ML is almost certain that XJY is in the body "vessel" called LZ. So in that stretch of time ML makes moves on LZ 's body knowing that XJY is in it. Once real LZ's stuff is sorted out ... Xiao Ren is still ML and XJY (still in the body of LZ) is the FL.
