The story is about letting go the past (in this case hatred, ego and yes his dreams too) due to external things/betrayal/fate…
Your evaluation of differences between beggar is and LLH is very thorough. I'm not sure if we agree on his reasons for his downshift. My take on it is like, all his life he trained hard to be good at what he does to bring fairness, justice, and in general "good" to the world. But he discovered he was a terrible brother, insensitive lover, overbearing "manager", a bully to subordinates. To top it all off a bunch of his followers die due to his arrogance (as it turned out he is neither invulnerable nor omnipresent). Yeah people admired his skills and determination but on a human level he was the worst person to be close to. LLH simply despised his old self as LXY and tried to forget that identity. So he didn't want to associate with anyone from that period because he knows when they look at him they remember his old self.
When I picked up this drama, I did not know the hype surrounding it. I just clicked because Cheng Yi is in it,…
As far as farfetched explanations go, was the grooms escape was it. I knew he had to mingle with the maids to escape but we never saw him like was he feminine enough to pull it off or not. But then it's ... "the phoenix potion". I went like ... oh lads, come on. how are we supposed to know about it. Still good.
As a yaojing and yaoliu stan,i can not understand some immature comments always criticizing Jing and even calling…
Lol just take it with pinch of salt. Most people who comment like the show and/or the novel. Given the nature of the story some divisions are bound to happen. But technically we are all on the same side. Expectations of some sort of "safe space" are unrealistic and if everyone wrote only good stuff,I think, that would be a very boring discussion.actually there really would be nothing to discuss 🤔 So just share only your positive experience if you're so inclined but maybe your negative ones will also be entertaining.
Well their relationship always had this friend&mentor kind of vibe to it. And in dark times me who else she could…
To me it felt often like when they were sitting in the tree early in s1 and afterwards most conversations were around about him asking leading questions ... Socrates style I suppose.
it’s literally retarded how show XL and Jing have more mutual respect and understanding for each other than…
Well seriously, why does she have to choose just out of those 3.none of them fit just right.so maybe a completely random stranger would be an answer for her happy end 🙄

I'd throw in a 4th guy in the last few minutes of the last episode. Some handsome farmer on a mountain. Who never left the house since he was born, whose knowledge of geography extends like maybe 10 miles around his hut. Just to make sure everyone is equally unhappy 😅
Were XY goes when she is feeling sad and lost? Oh, yes, in search for Xiang Liu.
Well their relationship always had this friend&mentor kind of vibe to it. And in dark times me who else she could turn to. But yeah it always pissed me off she spent more time with him than with anyone else,he did the most for her. But nah... Doesn't know a good thing when she sees it.
I have a question.. In this drama's tag, friendship and bromance are included. Whoever watches this, can you tell…
Mostly it's about a terminally ill burnout with one last thing to do. He accidentally gets embroiled in new friendships and a bit of "blast from the past". So nothing like untamed etc.
Or s it the case you are giving a few examples why you would not watch this drama?
