I don't remember her being that much in this part-other than making Fan Sizhe do hard labour. It would've taken too much time.given that there are so many stories to get through and only 36 eps. It's probably alright. She should make an appearance when they deal with Ming family. But yeah those curves were lost in a gym somewhere 😔

I like 95 version too especially how she was presented moved etc. But overall newer ones do look better overall.

With regard to why he knows stuff from "the past civilization" simpler explanation is because that's his story and that's how he dreamt his arrival into the story. Like there doesn't have to be a reasonable explanation other than that. Anyway, going from s1 point of view, I'd consider Mei's letter would be the explanation for the series and Mei's knowledge got passed on to FX genetically kind of reasonable.

And it's fine. I read the book after s1, so my perception might've been altered. regardless, as far as adaptation goes I'd take it as jsut some guy in a coma making up a story.

In s1 his mother's letter said no time travel and not parallel universe. I'm hazy on the novel now but I think kopiko's explanation is closer to what I remember.

Yeah 30 is a good number.but my longest run is 35 so it's still possible to catch up then end up with ai generated subs and 360p quality for the last 2 eps.

In retrospect i treat it as a regrettable accident but yeah. Happens.

Honestly one of the reasons why I dread watching it is because I feel that this part of the book is hard to transfer to screen. Obviously I'm not a pro in this so unless screenwriter will do some serious voodoo magic it would feel like a different genre which could annoy some people. I'm not sure how far away it will drift from the novel either which would annoy others. Guess what I'm trying to say it could be that expectations are not high, more like misplaced.

22 out of 36 are out I'm thinking to start as well. But will wait a little longer in case it's too awesome in which case none stop marathon; or too awful so would be skipping sprint.

Would've been irrational if you had no worries like that before a surgery. Oh ... my...god... 😮. my other conspiracy theories must be right too!!! This whole drama is part of an elaborate psychological experiment designed to ween people off from watching other dramas (news, training courses,etc.) I knew it was just too good to be true 🤣

They might've done the music first and shot scenes afterwards 😆 At this point I'm convinced that this music is arranged to hypnotize people into a trance to make them keep watching the show episode after episode on a loop. Like, ep01 feels so good after ep39.
