Finally able to start Filter a couple of days ago and wow! What a fantastic, well-written, fast paced series. Landi Li and Tan Jianci do such a great job with their roles Landi has proven once again how she can take on different characters with apparent ease.
And Producers/Directors please...more FL roles for Landi Li. And Hunag Si Rui did a great job as well playing LinYuan.

Thank you for the links. I just went there and the comments are now turned off. I did report it though. There is another YT channel; 'Chinese Star,' that got an angry piece of my mind several times (and from quite a few others) for slyly implying negative things about Rosy's character and actions. They also will outright attack her; I think it depends on who is writing each video.
This is the kind of so-called 'reporting' channel that makes use of invisible or anonymous "critics," "netizens" to attack her. Occasionally, they will post positive things about her too, probably to appear more 'fair and balanced'. But the overwhelming bias is against Lusi on this channel.
Here's an example of a bad one, particularly at :55 & 1:00 min in:
Here's one more recent vid. Note the misleading, tabloid-style title. The first words are "Zhao lusi has sparked outrage..." Really?? I think not, and wonder who is really starting up some of these absurd channels:
Let's all keep up the pressure against disinformation, misinformation, and just plain mean-spirited bashing of Rosy. It's obvious that it's bothering her at times, because she posted that hater's bizarre rant on her Weibo page on Mar 20th.
Well into "Sword & Fairy" now, and have found another gem! Peng is amazing, beautiful, and very talented (as others are saying in their comments). I actually began this series because of Bai Bing Ke, another of my recently discovered favorites. Now I'll be looking into Peng's career history, as it seems she is being given lesser roles than her colleagues at her agency. At Ep. 10 now of 'S & F', I agree that she deserves more FL roles.
The first hour and twenty minutes of "A Little Courage" (aka "Be Myself") is here, English subtitles, for any needing that. I do not have the Mango APP, so have to watch on YT:

Critics of Rosy drive me crazy. I'm enjoying her show, and learning so much more about how Lusi sees the world, her family, and deals with her illness. I've heard there are many upset netizens ranting about this and that (mostly things Rosy says); but I do not share their views at all, because they're not slowing down to think clearly and keeping her comments in context. Or, maybe reports of all that anger are perhaps exaggerated. Regardless of all that, I love and admire you Rosy, all the best to you! β€οΈπΊ
Does this have good brothers relationship?? Slight romance is fine but donβt want to watch if too much romance…
Yes, very much so on the first question. In fact, more than one good brother relationship going on. But the main (ML) brothers (or half-brothers in this case) each fall in love with the respective female leads. I won't spoil any more than that...
He is so prolific- he's been the chief (or next to the top) villain in three of the last 6 dramas I've completed. I had to lol to myself when I started watching "Sword & Fairy" with Esther Yu & Xi Kai today, and saw him in the cast lineup. Could be wrong, but I'm betting he's the top bad guy again in this one. He's such an amiable looking and sounding man that it's hard to believe he's able to play the main trouble maker sometimes.
Just dropping in today (Pi Day) to say; may the uber-talented, exceptionally beautiful and sweet Rosy Zhao Lusi continue to heal and live very well, and enjoy much happiness in 2025 and the years to come! β€οΈπΊπ₯
One very talented and pretty newcomer for sure. She has a Main Role 'locked in' for 2025...not sure what "Lock Her" is about, but it's definitely on my to-watch list. π
After the tremendous success of JOL 1 & 2, I can only imagine how well a second season of SSS would do. I'm hoping they will do this in the next couple of years...the sooner the better for me.
Sure would like to see a 3rd installment of "The Witch." I want your badass character Jo Hyun right in the center of it all (but not allowed to die in this one, either). It may never happen, but I really enjoyed both those flicks and hope for more... π
A bit belated as it slipped up on me, but I hope you had a fun Birthday! π
Enjoyed this rather quick binge watch very much! Lu Yan Qi is one of my favorite actresses, and she was delightful (as was the ML btw) in this. A lot of funny moments. I'm also watching her in "Serenade of Peaceful Joy" (she comes aboard about halfway through). Anyway, I'm giving this one a 9.5. π
Watched the final fight scene in 'Sword, Snow, Stride' again, and so enjoyed seeing the cast perform. I really hope that one day, Tianai returns as Nangong Pu She, who's kinda like a female Clint Eastwood in a classic Spaghetti Western: walking and talking softly, but carrying a big stick (or in this case, sword). Only she's a helluva lot prettier, lol...but her scenes in Ep.1 are forever etched in my memory. So cool. β€οΈπ
Jia Di is rather new on the acting scene, beginning in 2023 looks like from the list above. I noticed her for the first time as Princess Tang in 'Les Belles', and she is playing the part wonderfully, and is instantly likable. She shows a lot of promise as a very talented and beautiful young actress. All the best to you and your blossoming career Jia, in 2025 and beyond! β€οΈπ
Mr. Zhao, your direction of 'The Fearless' was flawless...I enjoyed it very much, thank you! I am almost finished with Fearless 2 (Unbreakable 2). I see that Tan Jia Yan (who I think was your assistant Director on S1) has done a fantastic job on S2 as well. I'm hoping there will be a S3, so please persuade the Producers to do so if at all possible. Best to you both; and to all the cast in 2025!
Iβm surprised they managed to outdo S1 as well. Almost every aspect of the drama is great. Like pacing, wardrobe,…
Good! I'm glad there's hope. I've been trying for a while this evening to find more information, such as ratings and other clues, but have found nothing. I agree on it surpassing my expectations too (and they were high). Thanks for your input!
