I think they told me they don’t change the pics if the current one fits the kind of picture they like (front facing), I remembered I tried changing back the picture of Moon Chae Won when it was changed to the current (like her pic with hair down better) and they explained they don’t agree with changes just due to preferences. However, this particular case with KYJ is weird since this pic of her was when she was very young

I really want it to, they can play sisters or something but i think it's impossible. my dream roles for them is both of them is in a historical drama where Kim Yoo Jung can turn intp a scary animal/vampire/gumiho while Kim So Hyun plays someone with double personality or twins (want to see So Hyun play villains but I also want her to have a good character next to Yoo Jung)

it was only the plot that made her that way, have you seen her in moon embracing the sun, missing you, river where the moon rises, tale of nokdu? her childhood roles showed versatility, she played a villain and a tortured young child with deep trauma at the same year. then her adulthood roles in other sageuks, she was amazing, especially in river where the moon rises where she was able to show the toughness of her character by emotions plus doing well with the action scenes (not even gonna mention that she had to reshoot many of her scenes because the original male lead was forced to dropout due to his scandal).

why bother commenting here if you hate her, i also dislike a lot of actresses but i don't go to their pages to comment hate out of respect and for the sake of peace to their fans

What I want her to do next is that she plays a scary creature, a demon or a gumiho or a werewolf. She's been so amazing in many things but many people have not seen her in Grudge the Revolt of Gumiho where she can make animal sounds and be scary as a gumiho (and she was only a kid here, I need to see what she can do with this kind of role as an adult). It doesn't have to be a romance. Preferably set in historical era as she's so gorgeous in hanboks. She can play a gisaeng who's secretly a monster (vampire, werewolf, gumiho, whatever)

No, I really think it was because it was the last episode of Park's Marriage Contract. Episode 12 of My Demon features Kim Yoo Jung in hanbok and koreans love sageuk dramas, I believe they would have tuned in that episode if it wasn't the last episode of the other drama.

no, it's not really necessary. i do suggest you do some research on the historical characters or at least the pe
riod the drama was set in to understamd what's going on. i'm liking goryeo khitan war, i have a bit of trouble understanding the earlier episodes as i did not grow up with goryeo period kdramas compared to other periods but for the current episodes airing, all you basically need to understand is that there are invaders trying to invade Goryeo that the royal family have to leave the capital. i do suggest you start the drama from the beginning though

It was compelling from the beginning to the middle episodes, I think I was less enthusiastic watching the latter half of the show, but the sageuk last episode was really beautiful. I was going to give this only a 9, but I was very amazed by Yeon Woo's bravery in the last episode when facing the king so I'm giving it a 9.5. I like the Joseon episodes more. The assistants becoming a couple was very cute but I skip many of their scenes especially after they were already engaged.

My recommendations
-> If you like gisaengs I do recommend Hwang Ji Ni 2006 starring Ha Ji Won, lots of beautiful dances and costumes, everything is on youtube
-> Jumong and Queen Seon Deok are two good old kdramas -- I was obsessed with these when I was younger
--> Jumong is an epic story of the founder of Goguryeo, largest kingdom during 3 kingdoms era, lots of complex characters
--> Queen Seon Deok - about the first female monarch of Korea, there's an equally compelling female archenemy, a complex male character (first appeared in episode 21), female lead has a nice twin sister too plus many other interesting characters
--> they have very long episodes though. All Queen Seon Deok episodes are on youtube.
-> Six Flying Dragons is the story of the founders of Joseon Dynasty. It is filled with action and good plot (same writers as Queen Seon Deok)
-> Tree with Deep Roots is the sequel of Six Flying Dragons though it was made first. It is said to be a sequel since some of the fictional characters in Six Flying Dragons appeared here, plus they have the same screenwriters. This one has the same director as Painter of the Wind. Less action than Six Flying Dragons but some episodes are really riveting. Episode 19 for me was really amazing.
-> The Princess Man -- Romeo + Juliet style sageuk, female lead is the gisaeng in Painter of the Wind, the drama is based on a couple whose existence is debated by scholars but their family members and the political events really did happen. Though tagline is Romeo and Juliet, it is not the only Shakespearean plot here, you can see some elements of Hamlet or Richard III. This drama did not made their plot to copy Shakespeare though as they are basing on some real events that actually happened in Korea before Shakespeare's time. There's a second couple whose romance is as compelling as the leads.
--> Damo (2003) - stars also Ha Ji Won of Empress Ki, very popular when it aired in Korea back then, most international viewers find the fights and direction too outdated, but the forbidden romances and the chemistry of the 3 main characters are compelling for me.
--> Goddess of Fire - Moon Geun Young (female lead here) other historical drama, not as good as this one but it's worth watching for her acting
There are post 2016 historical dramas that are also really good but I assume you must have been recommended them already (since they are new) so I won't recommend it to you here

she comes back on episode 12 or 13, then she has an appearance on every episode after. They have an important scene on episode 16. The only episodes she was gone was the time they focused on painting the king (between episode 9-11 and I believe she has a short appearance on episode 9, not 100% sure). Please continue watching til the end as they have some scenes together scattered throughout the episodes.
