I don't know what other's say but will say must watch drama. It has everything the struggle the love. But most important thing it will make your heart feel warm. People might find it weird to two boys loving each other. But I don't see anything weird in it. My thinking is love is what makes too people happy and feel amazing even in their hardships and struggles noting matters too them all it matter is having each other in their life for them. And these drama had these that what made me like this drama so much and l appreciate the hard work of crew members and actors for creating such nice drama to watch. Was this review helpful to you?
10/10 Very interesting.
10/10 Very interesting. This show is surprisingly good. I really love how they combined languages and ethnicity throughout the show. Th casting is spot on i.e: if people talk English, they talk English, if they speak Korean they speak Korean. There are some shows that are actually supposed to be speaking Chinese or other languages, but they do that for 10 minutes and then switch to English to make it easier to follow. This is not one of those shows, and in my opinion it really adds to the authenticity of the overall atmosphere. The characters are well developed, and most importantly: it really is an engaging show. I really look forward to see more of it.

10/10 A Dark Sageuk With Three Leads Worth Watching
10/10 A Dark Sageuk With Three Leads Worth WatchingI think The Murky Stream is more than just another sageuk, it feels like a full ensemble piece where every lead matters.
Shin Yeeun as Choi Eun is honestly a scene-stealer, she's strong, fearless, and not just written as "the female lead" but as the heart of resistance in this corrupt world. Rowoon completely transformed into Jang Siyul, raw and broken yet still burning with fire, and it's refreshing to see him step out of his usual image. Then you have Park Seoham as Jeongcheon, a government official fighting corruption from the inside, and he balances the chaos between Rowoon's outlaw energy and Yeeun's righteous determination. The three of them create a triangle of power, ideology, and survival that makes the story intense and layered.
Overall, It's visually stunning, the acting is on point, and the stakes actually feel real. What makes it stand out is that it doesn't rely on just romance or one character's journey, it gives space for each lead to shine in their own way. For me, that's the real strength of this drama watching the actors carry different sides of justice and clash against a world that's already drowned in corruption. It's dark, heavy, but absolutely worth watching.

10/10 Interesting
10/10 InterestingThe plot seemed interesting to me.
Minori is married to Yudai, who has been having an affair with another woman for 17 years. He helped her raise her son, Wataru, and both of them have been patiently waiting for Minori to inherit a fortune so he can finally get divorced.
The most shocking part for me was finding out that Yudai's mother had planned everything. Hiromi was a very fake and mean woman who only cared about money, even more than about her own son.
This drama has a dark, eerie touch; Minori's expressions and some scenes feel like something out of a horror movie. The characters act strangely and over the top, yet it's still possible to empathize with them. The ending is somewhat unexpected and unrealistic, but I still enjoyed watching it, it's entertaining.
l've added some images.

10/10 Beautiful fairy tale
This Chinese version of Beauty and the Beast is romantic, funny, dreamy, heartwarming and heart-wrenching. The artistic CGI enhances the fantasy feel. I was blown away by the stunning music, beautiful set design and the heartfelt portrayal by the cast.Dylan Wang nails a challenging role of the heartless and ruthless but inadvertently funny and loveable Supreme Lord of the Moon Tribe, Dongfang Qingcang.
Esther Yu as lowly Fairy Orchid Xiao Lanhua is initially annoying with her high-pitched, whiney, babyish way of talking but she eventually grows on you once you realize Lanhua is really a baby immortal, just 1500 years old compared to Dongfang Qingcang who is more than 30,000 years old. Now, before Xianxia newbies get dismayed at this age difference, it will be noted that Xianxia is a genre that deals with immortality and reincarnation, thus aging happens differently. In any case, Lanhua does grow up, becoming much less whiney and babyish as the drama progresses. However, she retains a baby's innocence and purity of heart, making her one of the most admirable female leads I've encountered in Dramas. Instead of the usual revenge-driven grudge-keeping Drama characters, Lanhua sees the best in everyone and is quick to forgive and forget.
She does not hesitate to come to the rescue of other people, with no thought of her own safety. Her pure heart, kindness and courage melt DFQC's heart, or rather, restore his emotional tree.
Roc Chen's sublime background music, also featured in Royal Nirvana, soars, a fitting accompaniment to the exquisite artistic visuals. The other musical pieces are equally stirring.
In summary, it's a beautiful and powerful drama that dares to make viewers believe in the supremacy of love.

10/10 Captivating Drama!
10/10 Captivating Drama!Fabulous murder-mystery, crime drama! Im Soo Hyang and Lee Jang Woo's performance was extraordinary. I initially tuned in to the series because of Soo Hyang (she's my fav), but I have to say, the first-rate performance by Bae Jon Ok (villainess Je-kook, MC group leader) kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the series. Fantastic narrative--cheers to the writers, cast and crew. Brilliant! Loved it!
10/10 Overall good.
This drama is awesome!. It's a balance of crime, drama, mystery, and a little bit of comedy to lighten up the story a little bit. Overall, it's something you'd want to watch because it's that heave on the drama but more on mystery and no gore scenes like killing.

10/10 Just Amazing! xEnjoyed every moment of it.
Been almost.illiterate at the.social levels of Korean society! really Like this show. The locations, scenes purity, lighting, photography in general and most of all the.clothing used in this series was just at leat to me out of the normal series I see each day.
I enjoyed every moment of it and was looking for the next scene to see another piece or fashion at the actresses, even at the male characters!. And I'm not a person who gives particular importance to fashion at all, but really this show made that issue a huge point.
The plot although kind of known from the begining keeps on changing and keeps you hooked.
The way they talk with different language and express themselves without saying the words in an explicit way is also great!
I really recommend this show.

10/10 Worth the Buzz
Both The Scarecrow and the legendary film Memories of Murder draw chilling inspiration from the real-life Hwaseong serial murders of the late 1980s. While the film balanced its tension with dark humor, this series leans heavily into psychological suspense and the deep-seated trauma of its characters. The show masterfully transforms quiet neighborhoods into landscapes of paranoia, utilizing moody aesthetics and symbolic "watchers" to heighten a sense of lingering dread.
Its immense popularity is already evident, having secured a #1 ranking on the Naver Entertainment Charts in South Korea during its broadcast. By combining a slow-burning mystery with a methodical pace, the series sets a new benchmark for the crime-thriller genre. The Scarecrow stands as a compelling and respectable thriller that captures the same unforgettable unease as the cinematic classics before it.
For those in India, you can watch it on Channel K via Prime Video! New episodes go live right after the Korean broadcast.

10/10 IF NOT THE BEST, ONE OF THE BEST STORYTELLING BL OF ALL TIME?
Call it a reach but idk! We're only six episodes into ThamePo the Series, but I already know this show is something special. Every detail, from the breathtaking cinematography to the way the story unfolds, feels intentional and heartfelt. It's a slow burn, but never once does it feel boring. Instead, it invites you to savor every moment, making each scene more impactful than the last.
I love how the show dives into the other side of an idol's life-the sacrifices, the struggles, and the parts of their world we don't often see. It adds so much depth to the narrative and makes the story feel grounded and real.
And can we talk about Po's character? Finally, a gay character who isn't boxed into a stereotype! He's not clueless about his surroundings or feelings - he's sharp, self-aware, and fully realized. And the dynamic between Thame and Po? It's exactly what I've been waiting for. They break away from the tired trope that one person in a queer couple has to be "the feminine one" and the other "the masculine one." Instead, they beautifully embody both femininity and masculinity, creating a relationship that feels real, balanced, and inspiring.
Of course, the side characters deserve their flowers, too.
They add so much richness to the story, complementing Thame and Po's journey without overshadowing it. And the OST? Perfection.
Now, let's get shady for a second because FINALLY-a BL actor who can actually sing! (You know who you are.)

10/10 raw
10/10 rawEmotions are raw, the chemistry undeniable, and every scene they share feels incredibly natural. It's as if you're not watching actors perform, but rather two real people slowly discovering love in each other. Whether they're exchanging playful banter or sharing a moment of quiet vulnerability, the authenticity in their interactions is something rarely captured on screen with such depth and sincerity.
Ling portrays her character with a calm, grounded presence.
She's reserved, deeply reflective, and carries a quiet strength. Off-screen, Ling seems equally graceful and grateful for every opportunity, every fan, and every step in her journey. In contrast, Orm is the perfect balance to Ling's stillness. She radiates joy, energy, and warmth, a true ball of sunshine. Orm's personality brings a brightness to every scene, and her real-life charm only makes fans love her
more.
Together, they make magic. Their on-screen dynamic is both intense and tender, painting a story that feels authentic and relatable. The love they portray isn't rushed or forced it grows naturally, allowing the audience to feel every step of their journey. You'll laugh with them, cry for them, and root for them with all your heart.

10/10 The trick to watching...
Many compared Through the Darkness to the US series Mindhunter. Though they share some elements, they are completely different shows. One focuses on the mind of serial killers. This one focuses on the psychology of profilers. They could not have found a better actor to portray an empath. And they couldn't have written a better script to profile the empath archetype: quiet, introverted, loner with few social connections. It's downright eerie how well the empath type was depicted. This personality type takes every emotion they're exposed to onto themselves. If they're not careful, their burden will consume them.
By contrast, the serial killers' stories were deliberately made crass and vulgar to underscore the banality of evil.
If you're going into this with a 'Korean Mindhunter' mindset, you'll likely be disappointed, like so many other commenters. But if you like intense psychological exploration, this is the show for you.

10/10 A hidden gem that deserves more love (and more episodes)
10/10 A hidden gem that deserves more love (and more episodes)l've rewatched this series more times than I can count. It's that good. Only 8 episodes, but it gives you everything: humor, drama, tension, and some of the best acting I've seen in a BL. The entire cast is amazing, and even the second couple shines.
But the real heart of the show is Sailub and Pon. Their chemistry is unbelievable. So natural and intense, it stays with you. I fell in love with them instantly and assumed they had other shows together. I was shocked to find out this is their only main series. Just this. And then Pit Babe, where they're barely featured as a side couple.
With a pairing this strong, it's honestly wild that we haven't gotten more. This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans is a gem.
