Why does MDL say 21 episodes while Netflix has 34 episodes? Just stumbled upon this show based on Netflix recommendations so don’t know the history.

Ugh… that’s disappointing to hear. The reason I love Are You the One is that characters outsmart evildoers and don’t fall for stupid traps 🪤

Because they pack so much plot/action into each episode, 24 episodes here are like 50+ regular slower paced drama episodes 😁

I highly suggest Veil of Shadows. She’s really great in it — because of the storyline, CDL gets to show off a wide range of her acting abilities 🥰

Is YOUKU translation better? Netflix translation for first four episodes seemed okay.

Sometimea those scenes get cut during editing/censorship review, but let’s hope this one stays :)

Netflix episode count is usually incorrect for ongoing dramas because they only count episodes with release dates. Not very smart because almost every time we have people asking this question.

We knew ZZA weren’t going to have romance, but when did you drop The Heir? I set it aside until it finishes — love the leads but still scarred by super trope-y time-wasting screenwriting in In the Name of Blossom 🌸 😳

I haven’t read the novel, but seems like only FL & ML are “good” characters while others are either clearly bad or very suspicious 🤨

In LotFG I think the loophole was the same as my suggestion here — in that show FL was pushed into the water and supposedly drowned, right?

We don’t know yet because things can change from the source material. My main question would be how do they get around censorship rules. Maybe they will give a HE for the watchers but can convince the censors that the beginning of ep. 1 was the true ending and it was all FL’s retelling of the story / her imagination?

That’s always a crapshoot with dramas (C or K). And we can’t even trust early episodes either (see the mess that was Fated Hearts after episodes 15-16).

In the U.S. during divorce proceedings people fight even over signed/notarized/lawyer-reviewed prenuptial agreements. I can’t even imagine how complicated it’d be if it’s a random piece of paper :)

This is a really good drama if you just fast-forward through most of parts with FL’s mom who is very meddlesome.
