Those endings have to be there for censorship reasons (it was all a dream or it was all in a book) because some people got too deep into stories like that and, uhhhh, did bad things to themselves. So I just sigh and accept it. But some dramas really push the envelope and all but tell you straight up it wasn’t a dream :)

I’m only on episode 2 of Jadewind. Hopefully it gets more interesting as things progress because I like the leads there too :)

Maybe she will join the team eventually? In the end credits we see all four characters marching together. But I’m trying really hard to avoid spoilers 🫣

There’s apparently a glitch in MDL where it doesn’t handle scores correctly for dramas that just got released. Additionally, almost every drama goes through an early phase when antifans/hates/bored people downvote all episodes (including ones not released). It’s very annoying but that’s why I usually read comments instead of solely relying on a rating :)

Typical of MDL — early days are low ratings because of a glitch and because antifans come to downvote and write nonsensical comments 🙄

They dubbed both leads here. I know, it’s pretty typical, especially in historical dramas, but don’t know what caused it here.

In a serious historical drama, they’d kill all the male clan members and send all women to be servants (if not worse). Living in Cold Palace might not be so bad 🤣

It’s really good so far but it never hurts to wait until the whole series is out. Honestly, this one is so good, waiting is hard 😞

7.9 now… Here come the MDL glitch + early downvoting 😒

Set up was definitely very sad. I think it was made even sadder by the fact that it’s a pretty realistic scenario and — as much as we all wanted ML & FL to instantly adopt the baby — neither lead is in a place in their life when they can comfortably take care of a baby.

C-dramas really spoil us with daily drops or when they drop first 4-6 immediately 😁

We don’t know for sure but teasers for 7-8 don’t look very promising.

Binged first 6 episodes — very good so far.

I watched only 1-2 episodes specifically to avoid any spoilers for the drama 🫣

It’s a very funny drama most of the time but that scene proved they can do intense/serious scenes too (like a later scene when she’s crawling up the steps and is being kidnapped by 2ML)

She acts as rules enforcer. So, of course, she’s going to sigh when ML comes up with some idea to spend way too much money on something.
