I’ve only watched LotFG and generally enjoyed it but just be prepared for it to be lighter in tone than it initially appears (it’s not a serious emotionally heave historical drama). Screenwriters also left some plot gaps and things like that. But it’s still enjoyable if you just watch it for FL+ML dynamics and don’t think too hard about what’s going on 😁

They should’ve used same person that dubbed WCR in Are You the One, but I think that actress dubs a lot of dramas so maybe she was busy.

WCR was great in Are You the One (historical drama). She was also great in Fireworks of My Heart (modern drama) playing a character who slowly gets from under tyrannical control of her family (esp. the evil mother).

As someone who didn’t read the novel and only watched the drama, executing the maid would not have fit the FL character & the drama so far, especially given the reason why Mei passed long into to the prince.

FL is definitely being spoiled 🥰

It seems like it was 10 years in the novel but they changed it to 15 years here

I’m a guy and enjoyed both Love Scout and Love to Hate You (personally, I rated Love Scout higher because it was more unusual). I’d say Love to Hate You is not super focused on women audience. I’ve watched it by myself and then with a group online (mostly guys) and everyone liked it. But everyone has different preferences — just mentioned it because it’s impossible to keep up with all the dramas that are coming out and I’ve watched many based on recommendations from people in the comments here 😊

Nice! Then skip Positively Yours and watch Love to Hate You instead. Or, well, any good drama instead of this one. I really enjoyed “Can This Live be Translated?” that got released recently on Netflix but that drama is not a light/funny as BP or LtHY (different genre).

Others mentioned they got used to the dubbing pretty quickly. Everything moves very, very quickly that I have hard enough time keeping up with subtitles (as a non-native speaker). But definitely try to continue watching — it’s very good so far 😁

I didn’t read the webtoon but going to finish the show since only 4 episodes are left. It had a good beginning, but focus on 2ML made it lose steam a bit.

It’s a bit ridiculous that the evil sister in law ended up with so much power in the company anyway. She’s not “family” 🙄

Very valid point. In this drama, especially, 2ML is very unappealing. Spending too much time on 2ML who is CLEARLY not going to end up with FL is totally unnecessary. Dynamite Kiss was much better than this drama (overall), but they also spent too much time on a love triangle even though 2ML never stood a chance (we all felt bad for 2FL who was super nice).

Ah, I didn’t realize non-rating a drama makes it appear as 0.0 or that some people don’t bother about ratings. I don’t trust my memory to remember my opinion about every drama so I usually try to rate it on whole point scale: bad / not good / good / better / best.

There’s no comparison — BP is much better. And I generally like the leads here and will suffer through the end.
But if you haven’t started, don’t be like us! If you are looking for a mature romance, check out “Love Scout”; for more funny BP-like vibe there’s also “Love to Hate You”. You might have seen both though :)
