Obviously, I don’t know him as a person in real life. But on the screen he was abusing towards girls by constantly negging them. So that’s why to me he’s not a good guy — he didn’t simply juggle a lot of girls/guys (often happens on this show), but he used toxic manipulative tactics.

Well, that certainly explains it. I was kind of disappointed in the smart girl getting Gwanhee, but I think it was just so she could claim a victory. Pretty sure he got dropped faster than a hot potato 😬

So is he from a rich/powerful family? I thought he was just a basketball player. But if he’s loaded, it explains some things because he wasn’t even very attractive, IMHO.

As a guy, I also dont understand why guys and hosts went crazy for Mina Sue, especially given red flags 🚩 in her introduction.

Mina Sue should realize it’s a show where “couples” aren’t actually expected to last in the real world (how many of them are openly dating still?), so the goal is to find 1-2 people you like, try to establish connection early on, try going to 2-3 Paradises together (or spend cozy time in the island), and appear as a cute couple for the audience.
Going on a rampage and wrecking ships is not winning her any fans and is only making Min Gee and Go Eun look better to us, the audience.

I’m glad you brought up Mina Sue’s introduction. As a guy, after hearing her describe herself like that, I couldn’t understand why all the hosts were so excited about her.

Sometime on this show there are clearly attractive women who get no attention (even when they have a good personality). It’s so strange.

I can only imagine the hate Mina Sue is getting. And probably being called out for being born outside of Korea, etc.

I generally try to be nice to contestants, especially because so much can be done by editors (afterwards) or producers (who gently manipulate contestants with leading questions/suggestions).

Very true. Hopefully, it will be clarified into some articles. I will do a deeper dive after the season is over. Trying to stay away from any spoilers. I only knew about Min Gee’s background because she was added to the cast on MDL. But I really like her for now — she’s arguably more accomplished than anyone there (even Mina Sue probably) but not trying to make it a big deal and seem pretty nice.

He’s a true winner. And it was nice that Ailee didn’t get hate for marrying someone. It’s very discouraging how actors/idols can’t date anyone or else they get death threats and then have to write handwritten apology letters to delulu fans 😳🥺😭

Oh, wow, thank you for the information! How long has she been on an academic break if she won Korean pageants in 2021 & 2022? I was a little surprised to learn her age — she shouldn’t be still studying unless she was doing her master’s.

He called her Mira instead of Mina, I believe.

It helps that 95% of Single’s Inferno contestants do modeling on a side even if they have a “real job”. It’s hilarious to check out their IGs and see modeling gigs photos for a person who supposedly runs a coffee shop, bakery or a restaurant 🤣😊
