Min Ji / Min Gee is indeed very cool 😎

From experience (seasons 1-4), it’s very hard to try to guess/ship pairs so early because things change so quickly and — like hosts mentioned — you can’t trust anything people say. A girl/guy could be very upset at a guy/girl (for valid reasons) but shortly thereafter they forgive them. So I usually just root for my favorites to end up with a good person (whomever he/she may be) or go home alone (instead of picking a toxic person).


P.S. Random fact — a contestant on Season 1 is now married to singer Ailee (they met through friends). So there’s at least one good Single’s Inferno-related romance story 🥰❤️

The system said breakup had to be initiated by the guy (her cheating boyfriend). She has to earn 100% affection from ML to get out of the book.

Watching S1-3 is a good idea 👍🏻
I think we are all pretending S4 didn’t exist. I think none of the participants from that season even got much boost in social media followers. Not like stars from S1-3.

S1 was good; S2 has the best ending which was straight up out of a K-drama (very fitting, because the girl became an actress now); S3 was best overall but had super toxic very popular male guy. S4 was very good initially because it seemed more slower paced & thoughtful (a lot more one on one discussions compared to 1-3) but after a certain point it started to drag because so much focused switched to a very indecisive girl so she took up screen time of other potential couples.

Mina Sue’s introduction (where she talks about herself) did not give a very favorable impression either. As a guy, I was very confused when all the hosts went crazy over her 🤔

Min Gee is staying strong!

Almost all of the cast every season are models — even if they have “real jobs”, they do modeling on the side and that’s how casting finds them. But, yes, real model Go Eun slayed that photo shoot even though she didn’t get to select a partner.

I now call Mina Sue as Hurricane Mina because she’s crashing all the ships without mercy 😳

Season 1 was good; Season 2 had absolutely best K-drama like ending (very fitting, because the girl became a K-drama actress); Season 3 is probably the best but has a toxic guy; Season 4 was great at the beginning but second half was disappointing for multiple reasons (esp. because too much focus was on one very indecisive girl).

Is Mina Sue getting a bunch of hate after ep. 4? Even knowing how this shows are made and edited, her choices at the campfire are, ahem, extremely questionable 😳🤔

Did you see the previews? She seriously asked if she could leave with two people at the same time 😳😬

For people who like(d) Mina Sue, I strongly recommend going to re-watch her intro. She openly states she’s egotistical and puts herself first in relationships (her own words).
I can totally empathize with her confusion and indecisiveness, but at a certain point you have to protect your image & reputation and not do self-sabotaging actions like openly going from guy1 to guy2 to guy3 to guy4 in front of everyone. That’s not going to make her any friends in the female dorm 😳

What’s hilarious is that earlier in the episode before the campfire 🔥 they showed Mina Sue and Min Gee sitting on a floor leaning on each other and being all friendly.

I most definitely don’t expect that when they return to their room after this 🤣😳🫣

Mina Sue is better than that misogynistic basketball player from a previous season so she’s not the worst contestant ever 😁

Totally understand your point of view. I think most people (on most types of these shows everywhere in the world) participate as part of growing their brand/followers and meeting friends (often girl participants continue to hang out with girls and guys with guys). Even on marriage themed shows like The Batchelor, oftentimes couples don’t make it from engagement to marriage.

At this point it feels like we need a GL ship of Min Gee x Go Eun after Mina Sue leaves the island with both of their men 🤣🤣🤣

I was a bit wary about Min Gee because she’s well known and had been on other shows, but she seems more genuine and down to earth compared to Mina Sue

To be fair, Dex has done great as a host of this show (better as host then as contestant) and Shin Seul-Ki has been pretty good in her roles so far.
