Swrious question: are they even really married if he used a fake name? Iām sure an official wedding will happen…
But there are dramas that are slightly more explicit (both modern and historical/fantasy), so thatās what makes it even more confusing. For instance, When Destiny Brings the Demon had a lot of kissing and, ahem, ādual cultivationā, but then Love in the Clouds had some scene(s) cut in the final edit.
Omg !! 9.2 rating ! It's been years since I saw such rating on mdl !!I haven't started watching it yet , bcoz…
Only Twinkling Watermelon š (9.2) and When Live Gives You Tangerines š (9.3; was 9.4 for the longest time) are higher rated dramas. Even if this settles at 9.1 eventually, it will be an amazing rating. Not that MDL ratings matter, of course. But even back in China itās doing very well ā became the first ever C-drama to surpass 10,000 Heat Index on iQIYI and 30,000 Heat Index on Tencent/WeTV.
Tbh, I am fine with the pacing and they are mostly likely going to shorten the 'third divorce arc'.. which is…
Ugh⦠what the heck ā why would they get divorced š³. Iām sure it made sense in the novel but at the current pacing thereās probably just enough time for the (second) grand wedding.
Swrious question: are they even really married if he used a fake name? Iām sure an official wedding will happen…
Yeah, I can understand why they took that out. But I do have to roll my eyes at how many intimate scenes gets removed even from modern dramas. There was one modern drama that had a pregnancy scare even though they never hinted/showed bedroom activities (only kissing) š¤£š
Only Jisoo harem drama 𤣠beat PoJ!(Itās really crazy how many popular actors are in the Jisoo drama; kudos…
I have a little over an episode to watch, but itās better than average Iād say (8.1 MDL seems fair). Lots of eye candy for female audience but main theme is dealing with aftermath of longterm relationship that ended (basically, finding courage to put yourself out there and try again).
āCan This Love Be Translatedā was definitely better though (in my opinion). Go Youn Jung deserves an award for all the roles she played in the drama š„°

Ohhh⦠thatās logical. Thanks for the info.
Fun aside: apparently in AYtO novel the couple had a child while they were fake-married and before FL regained her memories! I guess novel ML wasnāt as skilled at coming up with excuses for not sleeping with his āwifeā š

Thanks! I figured out they will remarry after she gets a higher status, but was genuinely wondering how that worked back in those days. The only similar plot in a drama Iāve watched was in āAre You the Oneā, but that couple wasnāt really married (ML just lied to FL who was gravely injured & lost some memories).
pls, the way he started coughing up blood when she mentioned the word 'divorce' š

Allegedly, the drama has already been seeking investment (advertisers and others) twice already, and apparently…
We can dream! :) But, yes, at this point I just want the drama to come out and to do well. Then we can officially crown WCR the queen of fireworks dramas š
It's always been like this, even in the 1990s it was super common to see bloodspitting or coughing into bloody…
I wasnāt watching TDHR for the guy, but it was a great drama with some fresh anti-trope-y things in the script⦠until the last two episodes kind of ruined everything. Itās like for the first 34 episodes they had a happy-ish ending in mind, did multiple things to set it up⦠only to change their mind at the last second and frantically spent last two episodes to shoehorn an ending that didnāt even feel sad/bad/open. It was a whimper not a bang, so to speak.
The only ending thatās more absurd was in a modern drama A Beautiful Lie (it now has 6.4 MDL rating because of that š¤Æš«£).

(Japan, Philippines, and Thailand⦠and U.S./Canada too)
