Thanks! I can sense the idea they were going for but it’s a bit confusing. Was releasing the water going to cause some massive civilian casualties in the novel? Because that’s the only way I can explain the fact that General Tang’s task was morally wrong (like they kept saying the drama).

Could someone please explain how people at the labor camp managed to survive? I’m also not quite clear on why half the people had to stay behind — was simply to avoid alerting the enemy? I must be missing something 😳

Both LITC and WDBTD are different flavors of fantasy dramas, so they aren’t pure historical dramas (which can be hit or miss). But do keep an eye on “Pursuit of Jade” — it’s a absolutely blowing up right now (9.2 on MDL, 1st ever drama to be 10k+ Heat Index on iQIYI and 30k+ on Tencent; it even crashed Tencent’s servers on release date). It’s not finished airing yet though — only a hit over half of the episodes are out.

They are switching to 1 episode per day for a bit, so don’t be like us and suffer while waiting, lol 😆

Given everything going on, being together in the army is the safest place (her & Ning would be most shielded there). But, like I mentioned in my other reply, FL deserves to know that all of his enemies will be coming after her.

Yes, I remember that but he has to keep in mind that he his list of enemies is very, very long and they are aware of her ties to him. So it’s not really smart to keep her in the dark — even if FL wants to be away from him, she needs to be aware of why many people will try to get their hands on her (not to mention the whole unresolved business with her parents).

As others mentioned, Ning Ning has asthma and couldn’t be in the cellar for too long.
