suprisingly Mina was likeable these 2 eps Samuel suits her i actually like them a lot as a couple
Mina Sue is definitely better in small doses! I do wish them the best, but have concerns about some things Mina Sue had said — not sure she fully understood her mistakes 🤔
I’m so disappointed with the last two episodes. So rushed an boring. Go Eun basically asking the three musketeers…
You have to remember that we are watching an edited version and that many (most?) questions were probably suggested to cast by producers. But I can understand Go Eun — one of her suitors was extremely shy & uncommunicative; the other one exhibited red flag behavior and preferred to hang out with another girl.
this season was so much better than s4 and 3 it finally had a soul.
Definitely better than S4! Having more people helps for sure. Although, I’d preferred if middle episodes were less focused on Mina Sue (was frustrating and made people grumpy).
I Geon is an actual red flag. Thinking about another girl and calling her "cute" multiple times during…
Yes, I Geon is an orange flag at least. I really don’t understand why the hosts loved him so much (maybe it’s cultural?). He also didn’t have some sort of sizzling chemistry with Go Eun (despite what hosts thought). I Geon + Ha Eun seemed better and more natural, especially because Ha Eun would call him out on his behavior 😁
With regards to Go Eun's "Male Harem" I felt like the new guy, Jo I Geon didn't really want her, that…
I agree with you. I also don’t understand why the hosts were so enamored with I Geon — he’s not that great and something felt off about him.
Honestly, I Geon should just continue his bromance with Ha Eun. Maybe that will lead to something. Ha Eun seemed like a person who could keep him in check 😁
It seems like she is attracted to DY but doesn't want to start an affair. I'm enjoying the plot right now, and…
I’m glad they didn’t immediately get together after she found out about the cheating situation. It demonstrates to the audience that you CAN wait for a relationship to start until things are resolved.
It seems in the novel, Qiao Hai Lun has a very tragic end. Apparently she passes away due to being overworked.…
The drama was pretty faithful to the book then. But FL and DY probably aren’t starting a company in the drama — she’s quite happy as Sales Director & working to improve career options for promotions staff. And DY is making music and playing in a band.
What's the plot about? The synopsis is really vague?
This drama is like a modern version of palace intrigues that are always happening in historical dramas. It’s not about business but rather characters trying to get promotions, undermine their rivals, and so forth. It’s also about pressures faced by people in a workplace and how well they maintain (or not maintain) their dignity & moral bearings.
im dropping it after 9 ep... the build up of the character and the story progression is sooooo slow! Also, too…

A HE I guess? Depends, it’s definitely a little different from what I expected. The divorce wasn’t finalized…
It’s sad that QHL died, but she was extremely unhinged and I almost thought she was going to jump in the river after talk with the FL.
And I’m pretty sure we are meant to understand that FL & ML(DY) ended up together. He didn’t go back to his hometown and stayed in the city to be with her :)
Today I saw the finale of a true work of art. It was like walking into a gallery and discovering an artist you’d…
Metaphor being FL riding up the escalator? ;)
But, yes, this was a very good realistic drama clearly meant for adult mature audiences. MDL rating is way too low but — hopefully — it’s getting good ratings in China.
This is a great realistic drama meant for adults, especially those who have been in a workplace for some time and can relate to the pressures faced by the characters and choices they make.
I’m glad Mina Sue reassessed the situation, settled on a guy and generally tried to play nice the last few episodes. Not sure how much she fully grasped her mistakes though because some things she said were still kind of questionable 🤨
can you pls tell me which one is airing on that day?
Are You the One is a great drama. It’s actually my favorite historical C-drama and I’ve even rewatched it a few times after getting frustrated by bad plot & screenwriting in other dramas (C-/K-dramas). Just ignore MDL summary (it’s not accurate) and watch first episode carefully. It starts off kind of light but grows more serious as the story expands & grows (it’s not like, for example, Flourished Peony/In the Name of Blossom where almost all action took place in one place).

P.S. MDL 7.3 rating is ridiculously low 🙄
