just finished reading this novel. rlly like Ni Su & Xu Ziling 😭😭amongst the sadness it was very sweet & he was always so gentle with her 😭 Xu Hexue really had it tough. if not a young general weilding a sword, he was a brilliant scholar holding a brush. and by his side, was a strong, unyielding and compassionate girl he called, A’xi 💗

really enjoyed this novel. the author tied everything well. I enjoyed the atmosphere, there’s a certain coldness to it. especially when it came to Yunniang & Lu Tong. Lu Tong shouldered everything alone & never wavered. I wanna give her a big hug 🫂

I feel like not rlly. while both the ML’s love the FL, they don’t compete. The first male lead is calm and subtle in his affection, while the second male lead is bold and unrestrained.
Both the first and second male leads are main characters, and there won’t rlly be any love triangle drama.
just finished the novel. overall I liked it. lots of cases though. I saw on xhs how people were warning about which male lead to like bc it might not be the one she ends up. I kept that in mind throughout so I was not upset 😂I only wished the ending could’ve been more satisfying… Su Jin and the ML spent too many years apart by the end 😭 while I liked Liu Chaoming & Zhu Nanxian, i didn’t expect Shen Xi to be one of my favs! he was such a good friend.
