tjc & lyx being interviewed together! they talked about their first impressions & their dogs! haha I was so curious if daidai & qiuqiu (tjc’s dogs) would get along with badou (lyx’s dog) and now I know 😂, it’s average. Xiao Xiao said that Qiuqiu will walk up to badou first and once some “offences” have been launched, before badou can react, he has already walked away 😂. tjc mentioned that qiuqiu doesn’t like to play with dogs and is relatively reclusive. and daidai only likes to play with pure white dogs but badou has a bit of brown on him so he doesn’t exactly meet his friend requirements lolol. tjc gave some dog toys to badou & his sister, he said he “really wants to tame badou, maybe i can conquer them”. Xiao Xiao: they always run when they see him 😂
Wow 🥹 I can tell she worked really hard for the past 6 grueling months of filming for this role. Her hard work…
I feel the sameeeee 😭😭😭 I get so emotional every time I see how Xiaoxiao understands and plays her characters! She's so dedicated! And she even drew Nanyi, Nanyi must’ve resonated with her a lot. I still remember her speech at the booting ceremony, and thinking wow Xiao Xiao really understands Nanyi, I was so touched because I was a novel fan and I just knew Nanyi would be in good hands with Xiao Xiao ❤️ so excited to meet Nanyi & see how muc Xiao Xiao has grown again 🙈💕 DWTT2027 🆙
She is very intelligent and thoughtful with words. I could see her charming soul behind her insane acting skills.…
yesss! Xiaoxiao is so sincere 😭Every time I read her wrap-up post, I can feel her love for the character and for acting! we can always see her improving & her hard work paid off, hope her journey is filled with flowers, it’ll get better and better!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥 DWTT 2027 here we come 🔥

I broke into your world of unending storms, struggling to survive for even the faintest thread of hope. In utter despair, I forged myself into unyielding steel. I became the noble figure you once looked up to, holding up a light and stubbornly pulling many out of the darkness. Across more than one hundred and forty days and nights, I lived through the joys and sorrows of half your life, only to let this connection be torn away and sealed. I followed you, from having nothing to overflowing with everything; I ran through a sky of heavy snow into your world, and then leapt with you into that dangerous river and the turbulent life that followed. I felt so many things I once believed were “impossible.” Through your spirit, I witnessed blazing friendship and love etched into the bone. And I saw what it means to have a body of blood and bone, a heart full of courage, and a dignity worth one’s life. So this is what life is — nothing more than choice after choice, the height of those fleeting moments, and the refusal to stop chasing the sun that will rise again tomorrow. I keep thinking how fortunate, how incredibly fortunate it is that the most stubborn, reckless courage in my soul, and my most vibrant desire to live, are tightly bound to someone like you. As if you were standing there waiting for me: “Alright. You’re ready. Step into my story.” I will forever remember Director Yang, Director Lin, the platform, and the production team for recognizing me, choosing me, and allowing me to be seen — allowing me to become Nanyi in the golden years of my life. My gratitude to every partner on set and every person behind the scenes; it is everyone’s collective effort that carried both the lightness and weight of this small boat. Even in the harshest winter, there are always people who hold onto craftsmanship and creative passion. May our story be seen, and may we be fortunate enough to be remembered by the audience — remembered for a long, long time. And thank you to all the fans and viewers who anticipated this work. Your expectations and encouragement gave this long journey its echo. I once dreamed of a scene: Before the flames of war ignited, a group of young idealists sat in a bright classroom, speaking freely about the future. They did not know what awaited them, yet they already held their torches so tightly. May the world be peaceful, the rivers and seas calm. For this crossing, I am fortunate to share the same boat with all of you. The rest, I entrust to that reunion that will surely come. What is remembered with devotion will always return with an echo.

“Do you know how to row a boat? Would you be willing to ferry me for a while?” I was fortunate to step into Xie Que‑shan’s world and share the same small boat for a time. In just 145 days, I accompanied him through a whole journey of his turbulent life. Now the little boat has reached the shore, and I bid farewell to Que‑shan. At times I miss him, and even more, I look forward to seeing him again soon. Lastly, I want to share some of the sights he once saw, and the companions who walked alongside him.
OMG you've read Zhao hun too, no one talks about that one, I really liked them too, their romance was too cute,…
AYOOO I just started Cang lan dao last week!! I’m half way through but I had to put it on hold cos I have exams this week (😭), there’s this novel I LOVE LOVE, called “He Bu Tong Zhou du/ Dancing with the tide”, I’m not sure if you’ve heard of it but I loved it sooo much I searched for novels like it and found Cang lan dao! so if you haven’t read DWTT, I really recc! it’s similar to CLD but also different, also heavy on the politics and war (OE/tragedy so beware haha). once I finish reading CLD I’m happy to chat about it!! 🙈
no ending spoiler, but are u happy with the ending? does the second half get good??
