I was scrolling on xhs and saw some comments which got me curious about Ye li. what’s her character like? I saw a clip where she mentions Qing Shuang, but some comments are saying she might not exist so is Ye Li seeing things? or does she really exist? it feels a bit mysterious.

I know the drama is airing soon but I have exams so I can’t watch it yet, if anyone knows more about Ye li, pls let me know! I’m too curious rn 😂 thx!

how's the novel guys?? Is the drama synopsis diff from novel??
I liked it! it was kind of angsty but also rlly sweet (after the heartache) the drama synopsis is mostly same as the novel. only part I’d nitpick is “As she grows closer to Qi Ying, Shen Xi Ling sheds her once arrogant and protective demeanor born from her humble origins” - she was never arrogant.

the start of the novel happens 5 years after the FL and ML get separated, and 10 years since the FL and ML first met each other. at this moment she’s under a different identity. then she gets really sick and the story goes back to 10 years ago to the beginning. here, we learn how the FL and ML met, what they go through, the climax, and then we continue off from the beginning of the story (which is 5 years later after they separate)
