just finished ep 3, I enjoyed it a lot. I usually give dramas a chancd up to ep5 before thinking about dropping because sometimes the beginning ep are slow but it gets better. For this drama I think it’s right up my alley so I will definitely be continuing haha. I had no expectations coming in, like I heard about this drama a year ago and really liked Cheng Lei’s styling in this. I didn’t read the novel and haven’t watched LOTFG yet so I can’t compare it to anything/have any biases haha. but it’s definitely my type of drama, styling and plot wise. I’ve read a lot of manga and manhua so this kinda reminds me of them haha. the pacing was fine for me and the quality and CGI was great imo. I recognise so many familiar faces in this drama it’s so fun trying to recall where I’ve seen that actor before. Song yi is beautiful and Cheng Lei omg he’s sooo fine. Been waiting for his dramas since My journey to you and he continues to deliver!
