same 😭😭 yep the FL is definitely pitiful :( the ML gave me the ick ngl… yeah I share the same sentiments, they’ll definitely have to revise the script. this story reminds me of this manhwa called “cry, or better yet beg”, pitiful FL, obsessive and cruel ML.

I’m gonna be honest I don’t think it’s for me… but I read it quite fast and up to chap 17 or so. another thing to consider is I couldn’t find the English translated novel so I found the original Chinese novel and set automatic translate to it so the translation was kinda chopped 😅. from what I remember, the FL had a childhood sweet heart who was in another country and at the beginning of the story while he was away, she was in a rush and accidentally dropped the hairpin that he gave her. the ML found it and kinda became obsessed with her. he searched for her and found out her mum was ill so he helped her. later when she rejected him he couldn’t accept it... and went to extreme measures
