Overall it was just an average/below-average kdrama. Not much logic but do get a happy ending and its for a major chunk of the final episode so that's the only plus since it's not a last 5 minute happy ending but 30-40 mins

That's just something in the future that might happen as he stayed as human and she stayed as gumiho. FL just has a premonition that it might happen sometime in the future but she accepts fate and destiny etc. It's just a minor 5 sec clip in the entire happy ending scenario
Only gumiho kdramas that are worth watching are Tale of nine tailed and my roommate is a gumiho. This was a letdown. The romance is half baked, no chemistry, not even funny nor too deep even if it goes towards the sad ending route. Almost a nothing drama. The most likeable character for me was the SFL who has very less screentime
Not as bad as the ratings suggest. Lot of fluff and actually enjoyed it more than Our Universe which has a much higher rating. Even the 2nd ML here is less annoying compared to the SML in our universe. Lot of couple moments and even though the love triangle is there but it doesn't drag too long and no unnecessary misunderstandings or noble idiocy, the couple stays strong till the end with the entire final episode being a happy ending which is quite rare in recent kdramas where they go for last 3-5 mins of happy ending

Surprisingly, this year there haven't been any slice of life dramas as such which I really enjoy. Last year there were plenty starting from WLGYT to Our Unwritten Seoul, our movie etc. Spring Fever was enjoyable but I think the drama from 2026 that I have most enjoyed so far is: to my beloved thief

I guess our universe will play the same old kdrama playbook: episode 9--- noble idiocy/isolation episode 10---- some crisis event/fl slowly realising about her feelings episode 11--- push and pull again one last time and resolution of love triangle episode 12-- all other random things will be sorted out first and last 5 minutes the leads will get together

the preview for episode 9 doesn't look good. 2nd ML seems to have replaced ML even at the home front. There is a clip of him cooking breakfast for wooju and fl, going on a trip while ML wallowing alone in his apartment
something about the 2nd ML just can't seem to like him at all. Also, this is getting quite frustrated. The ML's storyline from episode 1 has been of abandonment. When will this love triangle end?? Hate last minute happy endings where the leads will get together in the last 3-5 mins. Maybe it will rain in episode 10 and ML will be crying alone and FL will come looking for him. Wish there was a 2nd FL character so that FL also experiences some of it.
about the changing of fate hijinks: the 2nd ML got ML's fate as successful football star but if you remember earlier episode the accident changed the fate initially where 2nd ML was supposed to be successful and ML not a real success, so isn't the changing of fate actually the how things were supposed to be if the FL didn't intervene during the car accident scenario. So the whole death fate plot, shouldn't it originally belong to 2nd ML as in the first place 2nd ML should have been the successful star
