It's not negativity - it's actually asking for positivity. I speak both languages as first language and that's…
Nah, as I said in my previous comments, I 💯 took it as extension of their onscreen act regardless. It's like how their keep reminding each other in the Reaction vids - "AS CEO Hui, not Leo" ; and "AS Fei Foon and not Kingston". Very diff contexts. Also half the reason why Im so annoyed with the livestream switch - it's almost like Harry and Megan in UK where it's like let's-not-talk-about-it-but-let's-do. Sure, I get that it's not the same situation but the last thing ANYONE wants is the C govt to get involved with censorship.
ETA: looking at comments, I am obviously VERY late to this party, but I really don't understand all of the negativity…
It's not negativity - it's actually asking for positivity. I speak both languages as first language and that's not exactly what EITHER of them said at all, especially Kingston. Heck literally Leo said whatever happened, they met properly AFTER filming together.
That being said, they didnt confirm nor deny it. I'm just saying what we're saying is we dont need to know - we couldnt care less (so actually agreeing with you) and well, let's just get back to the show and livestreams about IKEA right? And in the meantime, someone needs to coach them to not keep this rabbit hole so we dont get cancelled WoH style thanks. I for one, would like to know the drama's ending. 😅
It just left me cold tbh, I mean why keep clarifying that you don't have a gf or whatever??
At this point we need Ah Sing back doing reaction videos and bitching about camera angles that he can do better with his trademarked shaky cam effect given his day job as a photographer. 😅
Whats so messy about it? Dudes love each other, also they occasionally have different priorities
Yeh, call it Leo's version on this one. And in case no one got the message by now, he "doesnt have a girlfriend!" (Really! Dadun! ok everyone let's move on and back to fun livestreams about characterization and like, maybe the actual show if Sat cant come around faster.)
Whats so messy about it? Dudes love each other, also they occasionally have different priorities
There's a new live stream as of 10mins ago. I was talking more about that one - we dont need to know whether he has a girlfriend, and he doesnt need to say it five times repeatedly. I get that Kingston will feel weird kissing someone else's partner and playing out extended offline act if it's true, anyone would. But you dont talk about professionalism on a livestream for the masses - that's just wrong in so many ways. And if they are together, that's even worse! So given their lack of experience, the real question is, what the hell is PR doing/why not doing about it?? You dont let your money making machine to the fodder halfway through a show.

IMHO it's unclear, but it's one of those situations where they're hyping it up too with all these clarification vids. Between both the canto and the mando, they're trying to imply it without getting cancelled. Frankly, if it's true theyre together, it's blatantly obvious. That being said, I been around long enough to not believe everything on the internet, so it could all be a PR stunt for all we know. If it IS true though, they dont owe us all these explanations, they can do whatever they want as long as they're willing to carry on the onscreen act (which is their job). Very different things there. Im more concerned they seem to not be able to tell the difference, what with method acting and all.
Another day, another clarification livestream. Honestly, they should just air the next ep early so we can all get back to the actual show. The show must go on right, right?? 😵💫
Like, I really dont think it's any of our business whether they're dating for real or not - I've been pretty clear…
Exactly - I dont mind the improv plays/games on the livestreams, but to have to watch them deal with relationship issues IRL in-real-time is just OTT. No one needs to watch another human breaking down for real for kicks - that's just uncomfortable for everyone. It's like seeing someone bawling on the streets and most people will either run the other way or check to see if they're ok. But no one should be filming it.

Are you referring to the 9min clarification livestream that they felt they were forced to stream, due to ongoing rumours about their personal lives? It's messy because now they themselves have utterly blurred the RL and drama boundaries, and from what im hearing about the novel ending, the plot calls for some very uncomfortable themes upcoming. It was uncomfortable enough yesterday watching them break down in the middle of the street due to internet bullying, but to have to watch the onscreen trauma (if they go with the original plot) knowing their offline real status, well it'll be worse than yesterday personally. It was just easier before when it was just drama and fantasy (even for the live streams).
I’ve been wondering the same. I’m afraid I’m sinking deep into the pit Leo and Kingston are digging for…
Well now we know there's also IRL.. but man that overnight was painful to watch. I would never want to see anyone that uncomfortable on Live video ever again in my life.
Well that was an interesting 12hrs.. im not sure how this feels anymore.
Like, I really dont think it's any of our business whether they're dating for real or not - I've been pretty clear about that in my comments. I watch the live streams cuz I find it super interesting when they extend their act beyond the script and see the real art behind "acting". That being said, I'd frankly not want to know the "truth" because now the show is just messy, especially if we get the original novel ending. Sigh, why cant people leave people alone to be humans.
i am curious about one thing but idk where to ask, as it is an ongoing drama let me ask here - do other chinese…
No 🤣.That's everything from Guardian all the way to Untamed to Word of Honor. No one would risk their careers that far to have the BL label associated with them beyond professional capacity for fear of being banned by China. I think a lot of people are watching these eps weekly, without realising there's a whole daily schedule of 30-40mins "improv plays" (which are actually legit acting school exercises) on the side during the week. I still dont think it's real PDA, but I do think the fan service got lucky in that both the guys involved are not technically based in China and for their respective markets, dont need to be. Like Leo can just shore up with OneCool and the likes, and Kingston can just do whatever Macau ppl do to get a market across Asia.
Whoa.. the BTS promo ambition for this show is a whole new level. Real or not, genuinely surprised Ikea didnt kick them out for BL PDA in the middle of China.

I mean there were lots of kids around lol
