Why to see drama? Look around - many women have several husbands at once. They all fit nicely into a woman's heart…
Jaaaaa - this polyandry is rare. But it's not just men's fault. Especially nowadays. Men are stable in their own hearts. If one woman really lives in their hearts, you can't get her out of there. If you can, it was either lust, curiosity, the will to conquer, or some other natural phenomenon. Even now, in some parts of Tibet, polyandry still exists... Unofficially - quite a few women haven't forgotten this nice custom. Me neither. But you don't have to inform the state about everything... And you don't have to tell everyone you know... I understand that in movies it can bother you. Because a bunch of women "under one roof" is often a nest of intrigue. And there has been a not-so-bright chapter throughout history about "women helping and supporting each other." It's horrible, yes. Agreed. But it's also a warning - don't do it yourself..... Several men under one roof can do much better...
I would love to see a drama where fl has multiple husbands and loves them all.
Why to see drama? Look around - many women have several husbands at once. They all fit nicely into a woman's heart if they are interesting as people. But you don't have to marry everyone right away. Life is complicated - several "husbands" make it much easier.....and more interesting too
Unapologetic FLs are most common thing in Cdrama world or Asian drama world? They just don't apologise and that's…
And - this infamous "women's empowerment" is probably a trend. Which is multiplied by a hundred, painted pink and sugared... So that all the "sweet seventeen" eat it instead of candy..... Oh yeah - men need to be tuned up to be very beautiful, made emotional (if a decent layer of makeup allows) - a real disaster in real life is guaranteed... Women are already complaining and men have given up... The whole Y tube is full of podcasts "Living alone in (fill in the blanks with the name of a country)" "Yay. What can go wrong?
Unapologetic FLs are most common thing in Cdrama world or Asian drama world? They just don't apologise and that's…
unapologetic female protagonists are not just a problem in Asian movies. All over the world and in real life....To hear some female being sincerely apologizing - I see UFOs more often.,and Jesus walking the Tao path...
About time they have older leads! Too unrealistic to only have young actors and actresses!
Same here...Almost all new dramas a like "beauty contest" or "make-up advertisement..." Especially movies about female generals....They're like "a lesson in diet and headwear."
ten points....This was good....The story , the acting and so on......no clichés - even the romance was enjoyable....all was cutie , beauty , flashy and trashy......as this world was.......
It keeps becoming interesting. You will die laughing at episode 10.
It's possible that it will get a little better. But - knowing these "beauty standards", I'm afraid that the charming beard and adorable mustache will disappear. And the usual flawless baby face will come. I will keep this beautiful memory of the cute hairy man in the Chinese drama .....It's rare......
You are not the only one who gets bored watching new dramas. Because the whole thing has become a "drama factory".. Too many repetitive things. Even movements, words - not to mention themes... The whole story has to stay on two beautiful faces, who fly towards the stars through difficulties. Moreover, it seems that the actors are already bored of acting.. They are somehow dizzy there... The writers do not have time to write interesting characters. They take the cliché that worked. The artists have become lazy... And since the film is a visual art, then - even the visual of the entire film is the same all the time down to the smallest details. They take the cliché that worked ..... And this is not the "pleasant familiar boredom", but "the same old, same old....". If there is something to blame here, then the "industry" Profit must be earned - let the "lovely simple person" pay - so what, that boring. It is hoped that the person's own life is simply more more boring.....And this is not true....But the bright side - they are good sleeping pills.....Or like a prelude for Your own interesting night dreams....
I give half a point. And the other half a point I give to Deng Wei with a beard and mustache. He was immediately cute. Apparently a lot of effort was put into the film .... But for more than three episodes, even that charming mustache didn't keep me in front of the screen....Jaaaaaa - it happens some times.....
I bet this drama will set a trend for future dramas to make protagonists with mental illness. They used to only…
I hope it will be a "NEW TREND" .Grazy people make movies good...The worse, the better...In real life, it's always fun to be "a little crazy" and on screen, the "bat shit crazy" characters make the movie watchable......
It was a nice evening to watch. Much nicer than some celebrity dramas. Without the eye rolling, dramatic music and excessive nonsense....And I slept well too.....Compared to many "big dramas" that are as interesting as a phone book and as boring as hell turned to ice - I give it nine points.
Oh, how I love it. And this is the first drama where I watch the so-called "introduction" at the beginning. Just because of this visual. Which is wonderful. And the music at the beginning is strange and enchanting.. Great, Almost as great as "Judge Dee`s mystery"....I'm waiting for the new parts
Riverside Code at Qingming Festival - waiting for it..All the actors were superb , story was peerless and little stories about the era were cute..And the FL and ML are still my favorite loving couple in Chinese dramas....little thrilling , sad and cute - all at the same time......
I completely agree with you! This little gem was very underrated when it aired, but the warmth of the characters,…
926 I understand you. And agree - but I watched S2 heroically until the end. I'm curious what will happen if it suddenly becomes popular and a second season is made. But I guess I don't understand what the magic of it was. And they try to make it even better. And more beautiful. Well, if that's the case, then the story will become "normal" .... Heroic saving of humanity, court, head jewelry and more .... The two main characters were rather "charming and awkward" before, who actually worked in "their own world" ... Now they were "polished" .... But I believe that the makers gave their best. And there will be a third season - they promised to go wandering .... This "vagabond" world could leave them awkward and cute .... And the other couple (who were also nice) could also "play around a little more freely ... Let people work in the open world (which is why Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty S2 was also great) - the actors interesting and so are we......This court is always a nest of worms and boring too......
It sounds like you just don't like cdramas which is fine but then why comment on an article of interesting facts…
So, you like this most mythical myth "hero's journey" How to become a better person and defeat evil? But - in order for a hero to become a hero at all, you need a "monster", evil. That's why the hero is always monstrous. Many people must die in the name of hero.... In every myth... And some people just want to watch something after a hard day's work. Light. Beautiful. Which is similar to a fairy tale. That good wins and evil gets punished. Maybe she was just "heroic" at work and no one noticed. Or she really is a "butcher's girl" from a small village. Who is not beautiful ,too..... (I just watched a documentary about Korean beauty ideals and plastic surgery - oh damn Jesus, you don't have to suffer all that in the name of beauty) Humanity is what it is - the people must be fed and entertained - otherwise they will organize a rebellion or revolution. There is nothing new here in the world. And for hard core entertainment - .To get closer to the earth and human nature, we have to re-watch Francis Ford Coppola's "Apocalypse Now" in a small circle of friends (still with wine)...I don't know how many times. And I'm just re-reading the book it was based on - Conrad's "Heart of Darkness..."...But for young people (especially girls) it's still too strong stuff...Let them watch beautiful films until the apocalypse reaches them. It will reach them one day anyway. The hero's journey anyway......And heroine journey , to.......with tears and laughter.....with good wishes....
708 Enjoy the Chinese version of Astrid Lindgren's "Pippi Longstocking" story. A little whipped cream and a prince on top. A little "Cinderella" and the age-old story of how a girl finds a half-dead handsome boy, brings him back to life and what happens then? Of course, it doesn't usually go so well - but who wants to cry in front of the TV anyway.. The film was great and what's especially great - things get passionate when a) the woman drinks a lot of wine, or b) the man is given an "aphrodisiac".....But those bad guys, those "bad boys" - they are passionate by nature. In this film, as always, the cutest .... Long live the "Global Campaign for Women's Empowerment" and what else, girls, if not "shoes, booze and a man with tattoos...."
