It looks like he really is spending a lot of time at work, so I wonder if the villains are starting to recognize that they can use his wife against him so he’s keeping distance to protect her. Then she gets fed up, signs the divorce papers, he loses it and then she discovers that he has been keeping distance because of the bad guys and they reconcile and decide to fight together.

Looks like they’re back together by the end of the episode though 😅 lol

I’ve come to believe that 90% of the other side characters only exist to highlight how amazing the leads are lol. Grandma Ji, JZ’s maid and CYY’s servant are the only exceptions 😂

Finally catching up. Ye Xian would have totally been an abusive spouse - Jinzhao dodged a bullet with that boy. Phew.

Yexian is listed as a main role, so I’m assuming that he’s the irresponsible one.
