I think the show that has most similarity to IS is ancient love poetry. Even getting punished together was done in that drama too and it's probably why yesterday's episodes didnt have much impact on me. But i still love IS none the less

Well it's because of how the story is progressing, in first 20 something episodes i was annoyed with YY now i'm annoyed with YD, i just dont like it when one party is cruel to the other without explaining the real reason. I'm still watching and hoping because of CY and YZ though😔

I dont need lots of skinship, i just want them to stop giving eachother cold shoulder all the time, the mjority of drama was spent with either YY or YD coldy rejecting the other one, how is that supposed to be enjoyable? I just want the tension to be over and for the drama to focus on something else

Are you kidding me? We're at ep 52, they had plenty of time to smooch but so far we've got nothing and they wasted so many episodes on meaningless side characters instead of developing their realtionship and now there's only 7 episodes left, it's really not enough

Exactly my problem too! When loving eachother meant death YD wanted YY to tell her he loves her, but now that there's no problem she's playing hard to get, why?? And i cant be sure whether they're really gonna be a couple or not! the scenes we've seen in trailers maybe dreams again for all we know🤦🏻‍♀️

Yeah i realize we have different opinions and it's ok, not everybody thinks alike🥰. Some of the things that really upset and annoyed me were when YD didnt wanna listen to anything good that others had to say about YY, she forgave everybody but was so hard on TZ for so long. And it really upset me when she destroyed the hairpin when YY even dangered his life just to save that belt🥲 about YY i was annoyed that he didnt tell her he recognized her right away, maybe the outcome would have been different🥺

yeah, i was very confused about that too, they didnt even explain what happened off camera, that scene when YD said we should wait till YM wakes up i even thought maybe she said the name wrong during dubbing and she meant YY

i realize what they intended to do but i think the execution was poor, for example YD is ready to cut out her heart for YY but other than that she's so cold and heartless towards him, i could still accept this behavior if they showed a little bit of internal struggle on her part, but no, she seemed peaceful and at ease. this is my main problem, their realtionship is full of big sacrificial gestures without any warmth to it. i hope the remaining 7 episodes will change my mind though because i really loved the first 20 twenty episodes and it'll be a waste if the ending isnt good

Was YD really questioning TZQ's love because she didnt wear the earings that demon king gave her while she herself destroyed the hairpin and tried to burn the cencer? she dismissed everything YY ever gave her, i just hope that she hasnt really destroyed the hairpin..

i cant even feel the romance, there's just lots of big gestures that arent meanigful to me when they always give eachother cold shoulder, in my opinion the first 18 episodes deserved a 10, everything about it was magnificent but after that it was just one disappointment after another😞

i've already given up on this show having any romantic scenes, they should change the genre from romance to family and friendship or whatever, it's like the screenwriter just doesnt know what the audiance wants. i really dont want to admit this because i love cheng yi and yang zi and i've been waiting for this show for such a long time but it really has been a let down😔 it didnt meet my expectations
