Story:

The story of both the families and their history slowly being revealed was the key likable element of this drama, the love story parts were meh with the usual crazy 2nd female lead and we have the 3rd even crazier female lead to make it even worse. The way the flashbacks are shown are done in poor way, we start at present with the fake wedding then go into flashback and in that flashback we keep going further into many flashbacks. The show was too long and the last 5 episodes were pure asian drama draggy elements where they put stuff to make the outcome of the main couple till the last part of the last episode. This could have been so much better but ended up being average despite the well made family history part.

Characters:

#The main male lead was an idiot who would tangle himself with a lot of women and end up hurting all of them.
#The main female lead was a rebel who wanted to act out bratty every chance she got due to her being treated inferior to her cousin by everyone except the Grandma.
#The other two females were of the same self centered type to play the nasty people just from different backgrounds
#The 2nd male lead was a pleasant surprise in a drama filled with messed up people he was the likable one along with 2 other support character couple.

Acting was largely good barring a few scenes

Music was good enough but not to my style

Watch this drama if you like complicated family histories which unfold in some unlikely ways.

Dont watch it if you are looking for a contract marriage/forced marriage style rom com as those parts are very very few and negligible compared to the crazy antics of the annoying 2nd 3rd female leads and the family drama. The drama starts with the fake marriage in first episode right away then flashback for 7 episodes which is about 10 hours worth, followed by even more flashbacks and some even repeated.

There is no rewatch value as once the family secrets are known this drama falls flat

Story: It was fantastic at start and going very well till it hit around halfway then something big went wrong , everything started dragging characters changed their characters

Acting: acting and cast all are good

Music: Very good, especially liked the episode ending song

Rewatch: Most likely not as it stays good only in few parts

Overall it feels like a 16-20 hour drama dragged into 45 episodes of 45 mins each which leads to characters becoming dumber and irrational, petty misunderstandings blown out of proportion, supposedly perfect couple with barely any trust, secrets annoyingly stay secret even at the most important times.

Excellent first half ( rom-com ) gets dragged down by the poor second half (tries to go melo but goes annoying).

Story:

On the surface it looks like the usual contract relationship drama which develops into romance but it is only a small part of it. The core of this drama is family relations, it touches upon individual stories of all the members of the Sun family. There are lot of traditional, cultural aspects involved which may sometimes feel irrational for the current modern generation adding to that the Sun family is largely patriarchal in nature in which women have very less power.

Story develops well with comedy parts early on with bickering, misunderstandings, and coincidences. Post contract relationship parts are mainly family oriented and then the eventual understanding, trust and love. There are a lot of secrets between the main characters which gradually comes to light throughout the drama, once they are all out in the open story becomes dull and the last few episodes were just dragging into the obvious outcome. This made ending a little weak and lackluster.

Cast/Acting:

Main female lead was very good in showing emotions. Main male lead and 2nd female lead had nearly the same expressions for most part of the drama, maybe because their character demanded it but it was not fun to watch. The sisters, parents and other family members were good along with decent supporting cast.

Music:

The starting song had a catchy tune which was a joy to hear and comes across during the happy moments in drama. The rest of the music were appropriate for the situations.

Rewatch:

A largely family drama depends on how story unfolds, once it is known it loses its charm. The Rom-Com parts less in number so watching again or not depends on the genre the viewer likes. For me, it would be 4/10

Overall it was a very well made drama with obvious cliches (Similar to "My Name is Kim Sam Soon") at the core of the story, some parts of the execution failed but still nonetheless interesting to watch.

( Also the last episode was made lackluster due to the "Jeep China" vehicle advertisement included into episode where Jeeps took focus over the characters it was annoying and the emotions could not be felt at all leading to a further weak ending )
