It is such a realistic drama. most of the mordern dramas I have watched only focus on the love between the main couple and there are even non-logical misunderstandings between them. However, Ode to Joy is totally different from them. It tells us about 5 girls who have different personalities, and difficulties but they help each other out in different kinds of situations. Rather than love, it involves Friendships, and faith.

I totally have faith in the casts because I am already familiar with every one of them. Even the supporting actors (Jin Dong , Wang Kai, Yang Shuo, Deng Lun) are all famous actors. That’s what I like about this drama most. I can see all of my favorite actors and actresses in one series.

Out of the five girls, I like Qu Xiao Xiao( portrayed by Wang Zi Weng ) the most. Other 4 girls also did a pretty good job as well. Kong Shen deserves my praise too. This is his another well-directed drama after directing masterpieces such as Nirvana in Fire and Battle of Changsha.

This is gonna be best modern drama I have watched. Btw, I am waiting for season 3 which will be aired in 2019
