Are there multiple subbers for this or are various accounts posting the same subs on different channels? If it’s the former, any recs on who has the best English subs? ^^
Is it true that the producers are trying to censor the reactors who don't like the series? When they put the warning…
Agree completely. I haven’t looked much further into this, so I don’t know how often they’re doing it, but just this one incident alone rubbed me the wrong way :(
There’s also a smallish comment thread lower down on this page. I didn’t watch the content creator’s video so I can’t speak to it personally, but from the summary someone provided, it kind of sounds like the director got his feelings hurt and did the strike. Maybe the creator used too much of the original video in theirs and that warranted the strike, but I’m curious to know if other videos that used the same amount of video but only praised the show survived getting copyright stricken. YouTube’s process for reviewing copyright strikes sucks anyway because it seems they pretty much always ignore the fair use exception. :/
I don't want more people trowing hate at this series please??? This one helped me a lot about myself and I was…
Come on now, no one is throwing hate at this series. Just because people don’t like it and state their problems with it doesn’t mean they’re hating on it lol That’s great that you enjoy it but everyone has different tastes *shrugs*
That’s true, good points! I honestly forgot all that stuff so I guess it means that to me, his bad traits way overpower his good ones. So I should say his good qualities don’t outweigh the bad lol. Ughh it’s a shame because I like that he’s not your typical BL ML; if only he was more likeable.
Thank you, and you're right! There's also a posse of people who are promoting Pinoy series in general so this…
Agree! Well, I’m a huge fan of reviews and comments that don’t just blindly praise something for the sake of praising it (good critique or bad, as they’re the ones that are actually helpful) so thank goodness there are still users who don’t trust this site as a fan page lol
I like your review! I honestly wonder if people would still praise this show as they do if it didn’t include the hot sex(ish) scenes. I think it’s interesting that a lot of the comments discuss all the negatives of this show but still try to justify liking it so much (like, just say you’re rating it highly for the smut and move on lol)
Am I the only one who thought it was odd that they (Judah) allowed Glenn to stay at J and R’s home during the pandemic when everyone is supposed to be quarantining? lol And am I misunderstanding—at the time, did Judah not know whether he had Covid or not? I thought it was cleared up but then they started talking about the rapid tests, which made me think he wasn’t sure and therefore potentially exposed Glenn to the virus. Not trying to be uptight about it. It just stood out to me since this drama is based around self-isolation because of the coronavirus.
Adding my two cents. I think both your comment and the producer’s explanation make sense and can apply in this…
Agree. And I guess a lot of people thought the way you did for the producers to address it on Twitter, which says something about their intent v. how it was received/executed lol
i hate Judah for discriminate bisexsual people ((#Φ益Φ#)) hopefully he end up alone if he didn't learn to accept…
Adding my two cents. I think both your comment and the producer’s explanation make sense and can apply in this situation determining how you interpret it. I lean towards your interpretation. My issue is that we don’t know if in fact Rocky is bi or gay. Rocky is still clearly figuring out his sexuality. He’s confused and probably a little scared—that’s what I saw in that scene. Nothing in that conversation or in Rocky’s actions made it obvious (to me) that Rocky was trying to hide behind the shield of bisexuality; if it did, then Judah’s comment would have been more on point, I think. Rocky had a girlfriend and even though many gay men do as well before coming out, nothing implies that Rocky isn’t attracted to women. So Judah’s comment does come off a bit dismissive of bisexuality and possible insensitive and ignorant (and this isn’t even getting into the stigma that bisexual people have in the gay/lgbt community). (Also notice how Judah got mad when Glenn pointed out that Judah may be faking being gay for clout (which seems ridiculous), showing that he doesn’t like when others make assumptions about his sexuality, even though he kind of did that to Rocky in the scene you mentioned).
