A LITTLE slow? I couldn't watch more than 5 minutes at a time without falling into a coma. Only my hatred for…
Yeah this has tired BL tropes written all over it and if the rest of the series is paced like episode 1, I will definitely find myself struggling to watch it.
Hmm first ep a little slow for me and I think Win needs to loosen up a bit, but we’ll see how it goes. It gives me old school BL vibes (but that could just be the blue shirts lol). I think there’s potential for cute chemistry between the leads, so here’s hoping. I’m also just happy to see more Fiat haha
Same. I wonder if we are ever going to get a bl that has a strong female character with more depht.
Ahh well, to each their own haha. At a time when most girls in BLs were obnoxious, spiteful villains, Yihwa was a welcome breath of fresh air. Fai too ^^.
Production quality, cinematography, and acting were all top notch, though the pacing was a bit slow for my liking. That said, the characters’ stories felt rushed and were resolved too quickly, without much difficulty, making this feel more like a preview of a full-length series rather than the mini web-series that it was. The ending was open but felt incomplete. I agree that there wasn’t really any closure, and all in all it felt anticlimactic. The whole thing just felt rushed and unfinished.
First episode was pretty good, not perfect but it left me left me wanting more, so I’m excited to see how this goes! I already know I’m gonna ship the side couples more than the main, per usual lol. I agree with others that the acting was a little stiff for some characters, but the plot and backstories seem really interesting, so I hope the writers don’t skimp on that! I also love the recent trend in BLs where liking another guy is just accepted and normal. No more predominately “gay for you” storylines. Now if only we can get rid of those pesky fujoshi characters so that gay relationships can be completely de-fetishized lol
I am *so* angry at how Hanbin was treated on this show. He killed that Flame On performance. As much as I love all the remaining trainees, I felt there were definitely a couple on Chamber 5 team that didn’t do as well in the challenge because they didn’t quite fit the concept (which I think is a stupid test anyway for an music reality competition, but that’s beside the point), and that’s hard for me to say because some I love just as much as Hanbin. But the producers had to come up with some bogus critiques of Hanbin to justify sending him home, not to mention virtually eliminating his screen time in the hopes that we would forget about him. Didn’t like his singing? Why didn’t you point it out during the rehearsals? Oh. That’s right. Because you only focus on dancing! And when Sung Deuk was criticizing Hanbin during the practice...I’d like to see him do those moves to show exactly what it is Hanbin was doing wrong.
Also, these judges care too much about image and stage performance and not enough about technical skills such as singing and/or rapping, things that can’t really be learned (or learned as easily) but can be honed, and should be what makes or breaks a group instead of who makes the best facial expression. But I guess since everything is so overproduced these days, vocals don’t really matter to these judges.

On a positive note, I’m super happy for K for getting number 1.
Lol speaking of, I'm watching a Kdrama that literally just started and there's already a review (10 stars of course).…
I agree! You can’t write a good, comprehensive review unless you’ve seen the entire show, but I guess people like to be first. But at least now MDL doesn’t show the reviews on the main page of the drama until it’s done airing lol
the series is not even over yet and people are writing reviews lol
Lol speaking of, I'm watching a Kdrama that literally just started and there's already a review (10 stars of course). I do not understand people sometimes lmao
In a nutshell, if I’m understanding correctly, official links with subs for international viewers may be hard to come by. :/
