Poignant, beautiful true story

This is such a beautiful war movie focusing on the power of music, children's innocence and sibling love. And the fact that it is based on a true story makes it even more poignant and beautiful.
The cast was just flawless omg<3 and the child actors, especially the 2 siblings, completely stole the show away.
This war movie reminds you of how destructive war is in every way. It will leave you shaken and sad but hopeful. It takes you on a rollercoaster ride and you will cry and smile with the characters. My favorite part was the portrayal of sibling relationships, which was beyond beautiful. Honestly, when it comes to family and sibling relationships, no other country comes even close to Korea. Kdramas/movies' family relationships are so heartfelt and memorable and truly on another level it is just insane!

This movie is a masterpiece and one of the top 5 most heartfelt and touching movies I've ever watched. Give it a try 100% if you haven't watched this gem already :,)

I have watched this AMAAAAZING drama twice.. every single of the 133 episodes twice and cannot begin to describe how insanely good this drama is. From the beginning every single cast is just the best ever and the story line is one in a million. Could not even skip 1 episode they were all brilliantly made <3 and last but not least, Lim Ju-hwan's acting hooooly.. Definitely one of the best actors ever and one of my favs love him so sooo much omg <3
Simply starting from the child actors to the main cast, everything is flawlessly made and every single episode is unbearably engaging. I always find it very difficult to watch dramas which contain more than 20 episodes but have literally watched this drama twice and could not even stop even through the second round. This is a must watch before you die!

I am DISGUSTED!!! they turned a beautiful family drama into incest!!!

This drama started off as a 10/10. I was extremely surprised at how a cdrama can be this heartfelt and depict family relationships this beautifully. HOWEVER, around episode 12 it gets weird. The "siblings" scenes started to make me feel uncomfortable! The music, eye contacts and everything between Ling Xiao and his "sister" got too awkward and creepy for me!!! I simply could not believe how they could suddenly ruin the sibling dynamics and start romance between brothers and sister!!!!!! I literally had to look away from the screen cz it was just too disgusting watching ROMANCE between SIBLINGS!!!

In my opinion, they were raised as siblings and had the same parents (dads) raising them. It truly creeped me out and felt like I was watching incest which was very disappointing. Especially when in Ep 20, Ling Xiao tries to KISS HER IN HER SLEEP! It just could not get any creepier and weird!

The only reason I kept watching was Steven Zhang. I truly enjoyed his acting he was amazing in every scene <3

The writers should have just stuck with the family scenes and this drama would have been an easy 10/10. I guess Korean dramas are the only ones who can depict sibling relationships masterfully, keeping it extremely beautiful and emotional and yet NOT turn it into incest!

Must-watch for Brotherhood, Family, Thriller and Mystery Lovers

If you love bromance, brothers, family dramas and are up for top-notch storytelling and mystery WATCH THIS 1000%! This is an absolute masterpiece and one of the best dramas I have ever watched with such elaborate character developments. WHAT A SHOW WOW JUST WOW! I usually watch kdramas only and had never watched a Thai drama. This was my first and it was GOLD! CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW FREAKIN AMAZING THIS DRAMA IS. I was not expecting it to be this good I am very very impressed <3 I'M VERY PICKY WITH MY DRAMAS so I'm so surprised that I've loved it this much everything about it has been absolutely flawless to me. And don't even get me started by the acting!!! The acting by every single person is just amazing every single one of them! I was shocked till the last scene at how good all the actors were!

This drama deals with various important issues such as sexism, favoritism and more and criticizes unjust traditions that may even still exist to this day. These issues are, however, portrayed extremely beautifully and meticulously and the actors and actresses all do a phenomenal job at depicting it. The themes of family and brotherhood are masterfully portrayed as well. I was absolutely in love with the relationship between the 4 brothers of the sister's family. Their bond was so beautiful it was everything <3 The brotherhood between Pete and Yi was also one of my absolute favs <3 The sibling and cousin relationships were just so beautifully portrayed by all the actors and the dialogues were sincere and moving it made me miss my own family :,)

I personally fell in love with every single character and they were all main leads to me. Each character is flawed so you will hate them at some point and love them the next. They are all human and so this drama will feel like the most real roller coaster ride. It keeps you on your toes, it is extremely entertaining and heartfelt!
I would honestly recommend everyone to watch it. Give this gem a try for sure you will not regret it trust me :)

I will just never move on and can't put into words how I feel about this drama, the love story, the sibling bonds, how LZ acted with his eyes and cut deep through our souls and how beautiful and BREATHTAKING my WWX was ...

An Indescribable Gem! A MUST- WATCH!

This drama has truly left me speechless which rarely happens. It is 1000.../10 for sure!!! I was not even going to give it a try and came across it completely by accident. However, I ended up rewatching countless scenes and will for sure rewatch this masterpiece again. Insanely flawless, heartfelt performance by Miura words can not begin to describe! and the entire cast was beyond this world <3 Thank you for this gem thank you thank you! :,,,)
No words can utterly describe this masterpiece but I would go with extremely inspirational, heartfelt, sad (but hopeful and extremely beautiful), and eye-opening. It allows us viewers to observe, feel and believe how unimaginably strong we are as individuals and how invincible we can be no matter what life throws at us. Takuto is human and is one of us. We feel his pain when he can't find a job, when he doesn't know who he is, when he finds out about his illness and feel the imense joy when he comes out triumphant every time. Through the actor's indescribable acting, we get to feel his every emotion alongside him and learn a great deal about humanity and the meaning of life which can rarely be explained in my opinion. Yet this drama easily gifts it to you :,)
His brother's character development was also amazingly portrayed and was very heart-warming and very fun to watch. I would 10000% recommend EVERYONE to watch this IT IS ONE OF THE BEST DRAMAS EVER MADE EVER<3 It will change your life!

How I wish Miura was alive today. My heart aches so bad.. he gave millions so much hope by his insanely REAL and beautiful performance and deserves all the love in the world. Thank you Miura for this gem rest in peace <3 This is my first drama of him but he is entering my Best actors list this instant :,) Oh how I wish he was alive...

A GEM with epic OSTs

WOW WOW WOW SUCH A MASTERPIECE!!! I started this drama by accident but it captured my attention from the first ep which hardly ever happens to me! I just discovered Rain in here and he truly killed me in the best way with his acting WHAT AN ACTOR! Before you realize it, he will get you on the ride and you will laugh and sob with him like you never have before! Such pure, real, ineffable acting. The brothers' story and relationship was extremely touching and the acting was terrific. I felt physical pain just watching the brothers go through various incidents. and also with all the actors:,) I also truly enjoyed the romance in this drama. There was no cheesy moments at all unlike most dramas!
The ending... it was poignant but realistic and beautiful. They went through so much unbearable experiences and immense pain together in this life that it would just not be realistic for them to live happily ever after after everything they went through.. Especially for Bok Gu, after losing his hyung there could be no normal after that.. It is harsh and depressing but realistic.
LOVED every single episode <3 this was a masterpiece :,)

Best drama

One of the first kdramas I ever watched and truly one of the best dramas ever imo <3 The writing and acting are topnotch every single actor will blow your mind away! Yeon jung hoon owned my entire heart throughout the drama his acting was beyond this world <3 Dong Wook was my favorite character from beginning to end. his eyes spoke all emotions and I was impressed episode after episode <3
The OSTs of this drama are truly one and only after 6 years, I still listen to them. They will forever be my favorite songs forever <3
I have noticed most people are confused about the message of this drama, which I have just come to realize after a couple of years! --> You are the only person who decides what to do in life.. to be good or evil.. your actions cannot be blamed on blood or anything else..
[may contain spoilers]
Myung Hun was one of the most disgusting characters and I could never bring myself to like him not even a little (although many people did shockingly) after all the evil he chose to do and especially after the rape scene.. But the second he realizes who he is, he becomes super selfless! Dong Wook, on the other hand, was one of the kindest characters. He was a hero! He held his promise to his hyung, fought evil, helped the poor, became a political prisoner and was tortured and so on... compared to Myung Hun, he was an absolute angel yet people started hating him nearing the end when he realizes who his blood is. He does some mean stuff after he realizes who his father is (which is understandable and anyone would lose their minds I believe.. he was raised to hate him!) but he eventually gets his sanity back when it was too late:,(
In summary, you can't blame the blood running thru your veins for your actions. For almost the entire drama, though DW had the "evil blood" in him, he was one of the sweetest characters and etc.

I have always been a fan of "sibling shows" an this one is basically the only PERFECT one that I have watched. It contains no flaws and every single actor does an AMAAAZING job. Amazing doesn't simply begin to describe it. I don't really have a lot of favorites but Satoshi tsumabuki instantly became my fav after watching this drama:)
This drama also has the best reviews ever, which is also another proof of how beautiful i is .. I have watched this drama 3 times already and can't wait for the 4th time:))

ONE OF THE BEST DRAMAS EVER TOP 5 FOR SURE 1000/10 <3 I CRIED MY ASS OFF FEELING SUPER EMOTIONAL ESPECIALLY DURING THE LAST EPISODE I REALLY DIDN'T WANT IT TO END. This drama introduced me to Lee Dong Wook and he is truly one of the best actors to ever exist! As a person knowing how it is to deal with disabilities, I was surprised at how well he portrayed the character. It was absolutely flawless he got me shook in every scene! His every single facial expression was insanely accurate it brought me to tears every time; depressed while trying his hardest to fight through "Life" and the love and hate relationship he had with himself and the people surrounding him were flawlessly portrayed. Though he had been given the hardest role (while everyone else had really vibrant roles and had a lot to play with), he draws you in and steals the show in my opinion. No one else on this planet could bring such a complex character this beautifully to life wow just wow!

The brothers owned my whole heart in EVERY SINGLE scene they had. Their every scene was full of emotion, heavy, authentic and just too beautiful for this world. This drama simply depicted real-life human emotion and struggles. It was too real that for the first time ever, I truly did not feel like I was watching a drama.. The emotions and reactions depicted were so accurate to real life that I am still mesmerized just thinking about it. This drama is a masterpiece and a must-watch! I will definitely be rewatching this masterpiece soon <3

+this is the first time I saw Lee Dong Wook in a drama and OMG he is literally one of the best actors ever! He can depict any emotion through his eyes in a second! he completely took my breath away in his every scene <3
