Well this is the first historical drama I have seen and I must say I wasn't disappointed. This is also the first drama that I watched that was airing at the time of viewing which was sometimes frustrating lol.

If I'm being perfectly honest I mostly watched because Go Ara was in it, I loved her character, she was easy to fall in love with. But wow, the rest of the cast floored me. The drama and intrigue was off the charts. Jung ll Woo was amazing, you really felt his burden and sincerity throughout. Kwan Yool was hilarious as well. I also have a soft spot for Nam Ki Ae as Queen Inwon, what a sweety and what a wonderful smile.

I actually really loved, especially toward the end, the relationship between Jung Moon Sung's character Prince Milpoong and Bae Jung Hwa's character Bok Dan. I know I was supposed to hate them but I just felt sorry for them, it just seemed so tragic.

The story was fantastic and you really were on the edge of your seat from week to week. I just loved the ending.

I definitely recommend this drama!

First of all what a wonderful drama, high production values, great acting and characters, brilliant storyline, and a stellar OST.

I never thought a drama centered around competing search engines would appeal to me in the least but what do you know, it did. I mean all the other elements really helped, like Bae Ta Mi and Park Morgan's intense relationship, Cha Hyeun's stellar personality, and some serious drama between Song Ga Kyun and her evil family.

Speaking of Bae Ta Mi and Park Morgan's relationship, man TaMi was and extremely complicated woman, brilliant, tough, and cute, but poor Morgan, she made it very difficult for him though you knew she cared about him a lot, even enough to let him go at times, it was a bit tough to watch sometimes.

Cha Hyeun was hilarious, I knew I would love her from the moment she beat the guys ass in the elevator for grabbing her but, and the cute relationship she get's into later in the show is too fun.

Speaking of fun relationships Bae Ta Mi and Cha Hyeun's relationship was the best, at first rivals turned out to be great friends and super fun to watch as well.

The interesting story between rival companies and outside influences trying to control them set up tension throughout the series and provided an excellent storyline that kept you guessing.

I loved Bae Ta Mi's team at Barro, they really seemed like a family. It even made me jealous, I was like what a cool place to work.

I would definitely recommend this, a definite 10!

I wasn't sure what I was getting into at first but with the first episode I knew I would like this.

The story is absolutely amazing and you will fall in love with the characters especially Song Sae Byuk's character Kang Pil Sung, who I absolutely adore, and Go Joon Hee's character Hong Seo Jung, who was like a living angel. The chemistry between those two characters will simply make your heart ache and break all at the same time. Song Sae Byuk really caught me of guard, he literally is probably one of my favorite male leads after this, I just can't tell you how much I loved his character. You really felt the love shared by these two characters.

The other characters were fantastic as well, you really became attached to them which made later episodes pretty painful. Even the evil bastard character Hwang Dae Doo was good in the fact that you really really really hate him.

I will give fair warning when watching this, the last four episodes are very painful to watch, I basically just wanted to cry most of the time. With that being said I don't think the ending was a bad one, in fact I really found some hope in it.

I would definitely recommend this drama. The story, characters, production, music, acting, just about everything was top notch! Still fresh off the last episode and really still feeling my heart breaking a bit and I'm sure the characters will be on my mind and in my heart for a while.

Finally finished Lovely Horribly. This was an interesting drama. I read a lot of reviews where people hated it, they said it was confusing, they hated the characters etc. I actually thought it was pretty funny and I don't see how this was confusing at all.

The two main characters were Phillip played by Park Shi Hoo and Ms. Oh played by Song Ji Hyo. I have never seen them in a drama before but they had a pretty funny relationship through the drama. Phillip was goofy and rediculous as this ex idol celebrity actor and at first I was like this guy is so lame but after a while he just made me laugh. Ms. Oh was pretty dramatic but funny as well. As a romantic couple, well that was pretty interesting and I will give the award for most awkward kiss scenes in a kdrama to these two.

The other characters ranged from really good like Highlight idol Lee Gi Gwang and Tara idol Ham Eun Jung (they were basically the second love interests in the story and Eun Jung played the obsessed psycho fan of Phillip which is totally funny because she is def out of his league lol) to some that where just goofy. But most were pretty good and added to the fun of the drama.

The story is pretty good, kind of a mystery thriller ghost story but really it was more of a comedy. It definitely wasn't one of those dramas where you can guess what was happening, it had twists and turns you definitely won't expect.

One of the final things is the OST, there are quite a few songs I loved especially Love One by Bumkey https://youtu.be/qf6UZ7oRDH0 what an amazing track.

I would definitely recommend this if you aren't looking for something too serious and want to have a good laugh with an interesting story.

This was an interesting little series of short film. There was a psychological depth to each one that was quite refreshing yet dark and leaving you contemplating on each episode. My favorite was the third story though I have a feeling missed some of the deeper aspects because of paperwork the father left on the ground I couldn't read, I still loved the imagery though. Overall I thought the series was quite dark yet beautiful. Excellent filmmaking and IU, well IU was amazing. Totally recommended.

WTH did I just watch ?

What a wild ride. Absolutely quirky, strange, fun, crazy, and hopefully soon to be a cult classic. Honestly I have never seen a kdrama quite like it, I was just amazed at the whole concept. Jung Yoo Mi was awesome, she brought the character of Nurse Ahn Eun Young to life! The special effects were very cool, the story was out of this world. I have to say when I first started watching this I was like WTH did I just watch lol, which was a very good thing. This drama left it open to expand the story past this season and I hope people watch it so this amazing story can continue. Makes me want to read the books sooooooo bad but unfortunately they aren't translated into English 😭 Anyway, do yourself a favor and watch this, you won't regret it!

One of the best of 2021

I absolutely loooooooved #DaliAndTheCockyPrince #DaliAndGamjatang!!!!!! It's one of my favorites this year for sure. #ParkGyuYoung who plays Kim Da Li did such an amazing job. Her character Dali was the sweetest most beautiful person as well as completely stunning! #KimMinJae who plays Jin Moo Hak, the ML, was hilarious. Actually I wasn't sure about him at first because he was loud and obnoxious but he definitely grew on me. Those two together were pure magic, cutest couple ever and talk about funny, I couldn't get enough. The support characters were great as well, you seriously can't stand all of the villian characters and the funny support characters were great. Ahn Chak Hee (#Yeonwoo) was an excellent third wheel character that you actually like. I also loved the brotherly character of Joo Won Tak played by Hwang Hee, he was totally cracking me up. The story was fantastic and the ML was always thinking about Dali's best interests and never kept anything from her, a total straight shooter. If you are looking for a completely adorable romcom you can't get much better than this, I totally recommend!

Well I must say I wasn't so sure about this drama quite a few episodes in. Not that I didn't like the acting, storyline, or characters really. I think for me it was the main love interests. There were two strong love interests in the drama for me and I must say halfway through I was not digging on Kang Hoon Nam (though later on I really did like him). He really ended up redeeming himself later in the drama, I'll let you watch to see what I mean.

This drama isn't revolutionary or have a particularly original storyline, in fact Yoo Jung Eum's backstory left some holes that still didn't really get explained to my satisfaction but it wasn't a deal breaker.

I really did like the characters, Yoo Jung Eum was definitely my favorite, but all the rest of the characters were great as well, her father, best friend, coach, and even her boss. Yook Ryong was a bit different but I even liked him in the end.

I liked the different side stories throughout as well, the different romances and interactions between characters. I even really liked the coach and her interactions with her team, it really helped you care about her character.

I ended up really liking this cute little romance and would definitely recommend it!

Well I finally finished Should We Kiss First, what a beautiful drama. I will say it was not all roses though.

First it started off sort of like a romantic comedy, then different parts of the story were revealed that unfolded into a much deeper narrative. This drama was an emotional rollercoaster at times (well most of the time), in fact there was a period in the middle of the series where it was just painful to watch, I cried, laughed, got angry, fell in love with characters, hated characters, and was totally annoyed by some, but in time you came to realize there were reasons for most of it.

The backstory was amazing and just heartbreaking as well, but the real soul of the entire story was the love two people held for each other, the pain they felt and shared, the obstacles they had to overcome, the absolute unshakable love they eventually embraced. To live every day as if it’s your last for another person, just amazing.

I really like a few of the other characters as well. Soon Jin’s friend Mi Ra was hilarious and such a good friend to her, through thick and thin, an unbreakable bond. I Deun, Mu Han’s daughter was also a great character with so much emotion and sincerity in her acting, I was really impressed.

I actually was full of anxiety about the ending but when it eventually came I was pretty happy with the way they ended it, though the bastards kind of pulled a gotcha which made me crazy. The gag reel really helped as well to release some tension.

In the end it was just amazing. When it does start getting difficult fight your way through it and you will be rewarded with fond memories and peaceful thoughts on love and life.

I have to say I totally fell in love with this drama. But it does have Park Bo Young in it and she floors me! There have been so many reviews on this I would really not go into much detail about that except a few key points. Park Bo Young Plays Bong Soon, the super strong heroine that is so adorable and lovable that when she cries a piece of you dies inside! Park Hyung Shik plays Ahn Min Hyuk or Min Min, Bong Soon's handsome lovable boss, he is actually a pretty fun love interest I definitely rooted for throughout the show. Besides this there were quite a few interesting characters that were super fun or you would just like to disappear like Jang Mi Kwan who played Kim Jang Hyuk the main sicko bad guy! I love Bong Soon's family, the dynamic between the mother and father was quite amusing. One person who keeps popping up is Ji Soo who plays Guk Doo, Bong Soon's childhood crush, he annoys me only because he keeps getting in the way of Bong Soon and Min Min. But from this point on I will refer someone who has been friend zoned as being gukked lol. One other character I would like to discuss is Kim Won Hae who plays Kim Kwang Bok [Baek Tak Group gangster] and Oh Dol Pyu [Ainsoft employee]. Now I saw him in the drama Black and loved him as the hard ass detective in that but oh my he plays a different part in this which was hilarious, totally loved it!!!!!

Anyway I had a really great time watching the whole drama unfold especially the romantic interests between Bong Soon and Min Min, Min Min was hilarious later in the relationship you could tell he was really smitten with Bong Soon but really who wouldn't be. It's funny, more than a few times in the series when Bong Soon rescues people she is described as and angel when people give their account to the police and really that may be a perfect description. Just like in Oh My Ghostess it is hard not to fall in love with Park Bo Young's characters, she just is that damn good!

Now I'm just going to sit around missing all the characters wishing they make a part 2 but knowing they probably won't :'(

What can I say, I absolutely fell in love with this drama! It had me on my seat to the very end, in fact it was probably the fastest I have ever finished a drama, totally binge worthy!

The story was absolutely fantastic not to mention the acting. It was hilarious, serious, had mystery, made me cry, and the fight scenes were killer.

Let me talk about the shining jewels of this drama, the characters.

First and foremost there is the priest Hae Il played by Kim Nam Gil. What an amazing actor, so funny. He made me laugh so many times and watching him fight was awesome. He was just straight up cool and oozing charisma. He even did really well in his serious scenes.

Now for the rest of the cast,

There was Goo Dae Young played by Kim Sung Kyun who I absolutely adore from the the Reply series. He really made it to where you didn't like him in the first episodes but once his backstory came out and his character changed you really end up loving him, he's too damn funny. There is even an easter egg from Reply 1988 you should look out for.

Seo Seung Ah played by Geum Sae Rok, she was Dae Young's new partner, her introduction at the police station was hilarious and her fighting skills were pretty killer as well. when she would get hurt it just made my blood boil, she is a total sweetheart.

Park Kyung Sun played by Lee Ha Nui was also a favorite. At first she was a major pain but later she ended up being a great character. Her English one liners and little arm movements to go along with them was way too funny! It was really interesting watching how the priest changes the characters throughout the series, some definite life lessons.

A big surprise was Hwang Cheol Bum played by Go Joon. He was the main thug you were supposed to hate but was just way to cool. His fight scenes were awesome and he could definitely be a scene stealer. Just by looking at his acting profile I cannot believe he hasn't been the main role in any dramas. He just oozes cool.

Another big surprise for me was Sister Sarah played by Baek Ji Won. I absolutely loved her character, she was so cute and funny especially when she would get mad, omg I cracked up everytime. She seemed so sweet and innocent. Another character while looking at he acting bio where I am totally surprised she doesn't have many main roles.

Really there are just too many good characters to go into detail about, just a wonderful cast and everyone did an excellent job with their part.

For me this is one of those dramas you get done with and your like NOOOOOOOOO why is it over, luckily with the line We will be back at the end of episode 40 there is the promise of a second season which I am really looking forward to.

I would recommend this 100 percent, no doubt!

Loved Yang Chao Yue!!!

For me this drama, like the name implies, is all about Chong Zi and her relationship with Yin Fan. I looooooooved Yang Chao Yue! I've seen tons of complaints about her character and I have absolutely no idea why, she is so cute and adorable. Her character especially at the beginning is a Sa Jiao character and I especially love that type of character if done right which I think Yang Chao Yue did an excellent job with. The story reminds me of Love and Redemption a bit where it's light and fun at first and then they just pile on the pain through misunderstanding after misunderstanding which is kind of annoying plus they introduce the amnesia trope in later episodes which I hate. Speaking of similarities to Love and Redemption, Yang Chao Yue did Sa Jiao way better than the FL in Love and Redemption who I thought was super annoying.

The story wasn't too bad but after the soul binding string in the last few episodes it got a little weird but with the epilogue, which is basically the ending, it ended up being quite nice. There were three characters I hated, Min Yun Zhong was terrible, he was sneaky and wanted to kill Chong Zi the entire drama. The other two were MiaoYuan who was so jealous and privileged she was evil, and Ting Xue who was a terrible person, both hated Chong Zi for no reason except jealousy and did terrible things to her. Fortunately those two got what they deserved but Yun Zhong definitely needed a greater punishment.

The love story was strong and Jeremy acts with his face which you rarely see, you could see all of his emotions through his facial expressions alone. When the two do finally sort of figure it out it's pretty cute but unfortunately everything is against them so they also feel a lot of pain. I loved the ending epilogue which really is just the ending because it starts exactly where episode 40 leaves off so don't think 40 is the end. Episode 41 is on Viki.

I would definitely recommend especially if you like well done Sa Jiao characters, but remember there is a lot of pain and sadness in this one as well, the ice prison scenes are pretty much unbearable.

I am going to have to say this series was an emotional rollercoaster. There was not a single episode wasted that didn't have information that took you to the conclusion at the end. The characters were just wonderful and you really felt for them and connected. The psychological underpinnings have you questioning what you would do under similar circumstances and it's really hard not to side with the criminal they are chasing in this story. Though I loved all the characters I really loved Cha Woo‑kyung's character, she was absolutely amazing. Everyone loves a happy ending but though I loved the ending you really feel a sense of loss and grief in the end. The actual end sequence was probably one of my favorites, the image that it leaves was just perfect. This is not a fun story, it is hard to watch, you go through so many emotions. It will leave you wanting more with each episode. I would definitely recommend this drama, you won't regret it.

Final thoughts on Into the Ring and Goo Se Ra

You know I love me a great romcom and "Into the Ring'' will sit very high on that list. OMG I absolutely loved it. Besides a great story, excellent cast, and the fact that it was hilarious, what made this drama really special was Nana's character Goo Se Ra. What an amazing character! Nana is obviously an amazing actress and this is my first drama with her in it. Goo Se Ra was super funny, quirky, and had a heart of gold! A few things I loved about her were her facial expressions and her laugh. Her laugh was addictive and whenever she got heated up or would turn mischievous her facial expressions were the star of the show. As you can tell I fell in love with Goo Se Ra lol! All the other characters were great as well, especially her love interest Gong Myung, they had some really cute interactions with each other as well as making me smile and laugh like crazy. A last point was that it had an excellent ending as well. I would definitely recommend this drama! I will so miss Goo Se Ra, one of my favorite female characters to date!

I must say from the very beginning it didn't take me long to be hooked by this drama. The story was absolutely amazing and had me guessing to the very end. The cast of characters was top notch to say the least. This is one of those dramas that when it ends you wonder how you can anyone top that.

Let's start with the story:

The writing is exceptional, I didn't feel any episode fell flat or didn't add to the story overall. With each episode puzzle pieces fell into place. I kind of had a feeling what was going to happen but it definitely wasn't obvious and really I was skeptical if what I thought might happen would actually happen. I was pleasantly surprised how it all turned out. The main crime drama part of the story line really got me hooked and surprised us through most of the story. What really held it together was the amazing cast though.

Characters:

I won't go through all of the characters just a few of my favorites.

Hwang Shi Mok played by Jo Seung Woo was such an amazing character and to me felt like a superhero. I know, a man with hardly any emotion being a superhero you say, well I had a hard time seeing him any other way. Someone who was incorruptible in a nation full of the corrupt, battling these people when all odds were stacked against him. I mean you can't get any more superhero than that. I also loved the fact that he wasn't capable of feeling emotions like other people so when he did show the smallest sign of emotion it was very powerful.

Han Yeo Jin played by Bae Doo Na. Wow I really loved her character. She was simply amazing in the role. Not only was she a badass to me she seemed very vulnerable and human as well which was the perfect mix to add to Shi Mok's character. I loved how towards the end Shi Mok would call her when he had something on his mind, they definitely had a special bond.

Yeong Eun Soo played by Shin Hye Sun. What a touching character who I loved throughout the series. She was that tragic part of the story that just made you feel pain. I think she really was a pivotal character in showing that Shi Mok wasn't emotionless. In fact seeing his pain was very revealing.

Those were my 3 favorites but I could definitely go on but I would be here all day writing. The characters really were the shining star of this drama, no doubt.

I could gush all day over this drama and would recommend it wholeheartedly. I am so stoked about season 2, I totally can't wait!
