I tried and tried but I just couldn’t like this drama. I feel like the SFL (Seol In Ah) is overacting or just whining her roles. I like the rest of the cast, they are brilliant, even the dogs are great. The story doesn’t make sense. The labor lawyer is broke but he has funds to rent office, buy nice furnitures, finance a labor strike, money to buy audio & video equipment, food and drinks. how Lah??
I have watched this family historical drama up to episode 10, and even though I liked the family story and dynamics, I can’t stand the many male beatings and mental abuses the female leads did to the male leads. Off course, I don’t like the female beatings and verbal abuses by the males in these dramas. Anyways these unpleasantness are always in dramas anyway.
After the Prisoner of Beauty, I wanted to watch this drama with Liu Yu Ning in it. But then I cannot see him with another actress...hahaha...so I will go back and continue and finish The Journey to Love. He was great there too with that pretty assassin.
I really love this historical drama. Never was I bored at all, and I had to rewind and rewatch a few episodes to understand the story/plot better. This is one of the best C-drama (aside from Love Like the Galaxy, Starry Love, Are You The One, and a few more on my fav. list) I have watched this year.
FINALLY!! SEASON 2!! Season 1 has a few unresolved questions, and I was hoping for Season 2 for few years now. I am glad they finally will make it very soon. Looking forward to Season 2, and I have the excuse to watch Season 1 for the 7th time....LOL
When I saw the ML, I realized he was the annoying ML3 in Love like the Galaxy [LLTG] - I was rather skeptical about starting the drama. But I like the FL and hence, I started the 1st episode. Wow, I was really impressed with the start of this drama. The ML in grey-silver hair is really sexy on him, and he doesn't come across as a jerk like in LLTG ... LOL . And so I started to dive into another historical C-drama, and I am taken along for an exciting ride. I will love this drama like "Are You The One?". Also, I agree the title of this C-drama "Blossom" should change to the correct Chinese version - something about beautiful and resilient purple wild flowers.
To people who have watched both this and Stranger which do you like more ? I usually don't like Thriller, Crime,…
I really liked both the Signal and Stranger. They are kind of slow burn crime thriller, and the MLs have such on-screen charisma (IMO) that I was hooked from the 2nd-3rd episodes. It took me some time to warm up to the protagonists and I stayed hooked until the end of the drama. Some people may find the drama boring but I really like the details and complexity of the characters and cases
I suspect there was another sub-plot that is related to him and his backstory. But I think that arc was part of…
This was filmed 5 years ago? Wow! but this story is really good, in my opinion. I was never bored in any single episode, it's so gripping. They could have made Season 1 and 2 so that they don't have to cut the 12 episodes. Such a shame.
I am at episode 24 now and suddenly there's romance between the main leads? Did I miss something? I felt it weird that the ML suddenly touches the FL hand, and she confess his feelings and he hugs her from behind. Please tell me which episode they started liking each other and I will go and rewatch. Thanks
I wish they added 2 more episodes to this lovely drama, because the final episode felt so rushed and full of questions. E.g. how did they overcome their great loss and start their business again? how did they manage to open their own shop? Where did they get the money to restart their business? I mean, they would have to find customers outside their small town, right? how was the long-distance relationship between the ML & FL? What really happened to the second couple, Ju Ri and her bf? What happened to Jeong Suk's ex-husband and her ex-best friend? There are so many unanswered questions. I was left frustrated and disappointed when the drama ended. LOL... Maybe there will be a Season 2? please?
I actually dropped this drama last year, because the first few episodes were boring for me. But then, last weekend, I didn't have anything better to watch and I started this drama again. Surprisingly, the drama gets better towards the later episodes and it found it rather interesting until the end. The plot twist in the end was quite surprising.
It was okay but the ML (Miles Wei), is more suited to play modern day characters than historicals.
I agree with you. Miles Wei doesn't fit the historical genre. I have seen a few of his historical costume outfits and looks, and he doesn't seem to look good.... LOL. He better sticks to modern dramas or movies
Also, I agree the title of this C-drama "Blossom" should change to the correct Chinese version - something about beautiful and resilient purple wild flowers.
