Can we normalize actors advising the producers to change the ending. Or boycotting until they get a better ending.…
I believe that No Happy Ending is a standard requirement for most Chinese Dramas....LOL. Maybe they believe that like real life, the Chinese dramas that shows Slice of Life should be realistic - there is no such thing as Happy Ending or Happily Ever After.
Yep I was hoping more from the ML too but a little disappointed right now. They have made him into a spoilt brat…
Oh! I love this drama "Nothing Gold Can Stay". Even though it has so many episodes but the story is so engaging and very interesting. I was never bored. Reminded me of The Story of Ming Lan. This reminds me also that this "The Heir" may be similar to "Nothing Gold Can Stay". I hope this will have a better happy ending.
people now a day don’t appreciate long drama enough. They don’t care about the storyline at all . They only…
Tell me about it. I always read lots of comments about the beginning of the drama to be boring or slow or Where is the Romance? or Kisses or Hot Men? I want a proper telling of a good story or background so that we audiences can relate and enjoy the drama properly.
This has 42 ep . how ? ain’t they banned the drama more than 40 ep
I am glad they lifted the 40 episodes rule because sometimes, a good drama need a bit more than 40 episodes, perhaps another max. 5 more to complete the story or happy ending. For example, Pursuit of Jade would have benefited with an extra 3 - 5 more episodes. LOL
most of the people are vertical drama actors good to see them in big project
You’re correct. I also noticed that because some of the actors looked familiar. When I checked out their names, they are actors in popular short dramas. I’m glad they are given the chances to show their talents to more people
Is it too much to ask to create a Kopiko tag on MDL?
I used to eat Kopiko a lot when I was a University student, and this was like 40 years ago in the USA. Now it is funny I see it a lot in Kdramas....LOL
I was hooked right from the start.First of all, can we talk about the visuals?? The leads are INSANELY good-looking.…
Since I didn't read the novel, I was also a little confused on first watch. But overall, I loved the drama so much; I re-watched it a few times and I finally understood the story/plots as a whole (I also read some sections of the novel). Since I took time to savor every scenes and special moments of the drama, I can confirm that it is one of the best dramas I have ever watched - taking into account everything - the acting, storylines, actions, cinematography, battle fights, etc., etc.
No wonder Zhang Linghe even made Chinas president insecure. That man - I have no words how attractive he is. Tian…
I agree with you that this POJ story about ChangYu should be equivalent to a real Legend of The Female General. When I watched ChangYu fights, I said to my self that "Now, this is how a Legend of a Female General is born". She was so determined and badass, and her fights were epic. I have watched TLOFG and I was not convinced that FL was a female general. So I dropped that drama instead.....Hahaha....
It's a good thing he's self aware enough to know that being praised for his looks is not really a good thing for…
I agree, and I am glad that he is self-aware that his good-looks may hinder his career and he is serious about his craft and profession. I am glad he is not cocky or arrogant (I hope so!!) and he wants a healthy professional relationship with his fans. He reminds me of Brad Pitt who was super handsome in his youth and fans would swoon at his good looks instead of focusing on his good acting. I hope ZLH will continue to make good dramas and movies in the future, and ignore the criticisms of toxic jealous anti-fans.
I finally finished this wonderful drama and I really really wish that they added at least 5 more episodes because the last few ones felt rushed. There were so much secrets revealed, the fights at the palace could have been better and longer, and the alternate universe ending could have been longer for it to be better. I wish they could make a BlueRay DVDs with Director's cut and extended version (like they did with the Lord of the Rings) and I will be more than happy to buy it...LOL
I read that all the episodes are out because they were leaked. I will continue to stay and wait for the real released episodes, just for respect to all that made this wonderful drama come to liife. Does that make sense? Seriously, some people have no scruples/morals and just went ahead to leak all the remaining episodes and put them on illegal streaming sites.
After watching and dropping several historical C-dramas last year and beginning of this year, finally I found one that I just can’t get enough of. This new drama is exciting and addictive. I hope the momentum will last until the end! LOL 😆
