If the old man in that prison for mental ill people, is the ML, that's no good news. If he is just someone who tells the story to the officer, then we might get a happy ending. Thankfully he is very witty to die that easily, but the first scene is not that promising for a good ending. I mean there are so many armed men behind him and we see him walking to his death
Lmao 🤣 same thing I had in mind. The actress has taken care of herself enough to look like she's in her early…
She doesnt even look like an old woman. More like an old man in a haunted house with no mirrors I think she should execute the group of stylists for making her look that creepy! As for virgins, almost every kdrama where the couple is 30+ implies that they never had any kind of intimate relationship in the past. Up to now, there are only a few exceptions of kdramas who depict normal people on that aspect. The best you can see is the guy having some kind of past but the woman is always a virgin no matter the age. (there's no bl in this drama, but the 2 boys could make a good bl couple, their interactions and their characters the way they are written here would make a perfectly joyful bl couple)
First, he falls for her on the first sight. Okay. She seems to be really good, and he wants her to train him.…
There is literally a hysteria about age gap in general-not only in movies. Neo-Puritanism? Maybe, Many people nowadays get crazy when a couple has a big age difference and i honestly dont get it, as we are talking about adults. Even if someone doesnt prefer a partner much younger/older (eg me, i always prefer to have partners around my age-not that i would turn my back to a true love coming from a much older/younger guy, its just my preference) i dont see any reason for people to like/dislike things about other people's interests, taste, preferences.
Hey, I would love to know other age gap dramas that you have watched and probably recommend, after watching this…
Its been 3 years since your comment but it happens that i ve watched some of them with age gap (be it younger man/older woman or the opposite). Falling into you (not great story-sports theme but the couple is very good) Goblin A Witch's love Secret Love Affair Kimi wa petto Last Cinderella Love is Phantom Mitsu no Aji Second Virgin Fairyland Lovers Unmei ni nita koi (my personal fav) (all the above Chinese-Japanese-Korean)
Im not a fan of certain couple combinations, including age gaps, im just fine with any combination that works for the people, be it in dramas or in real life. I love it so far, not only for the couple, but for the whole atmosphere. Its not something new or unique as a story, a light fluffy pinky watch
really? hm well let him be so. I still dont mind the age gap, but i'd prefer if his styling was a bit different. That slight mustache and his hair, omg its like he escaped from a 30's hollywood noir mafia movie or something.

No way he could be her dad. He's at most, 10 years older than her. But even if it was like that, they are both adults. The rest is a matter of personal taste, some like age gaps, some hate it, some are ok with it.
Currently on ep5 and its one of the most hilarious dramas i ve ever watched. I can rarely laugh in chinese comedies-especially romcoms, but this one is just pure laughter. Zhao Lu Si is good at comedy scenes she can pull out the whole thing by herself, not caring about how she looks and thats a good thing about a comedic actor. Also, the food preparation process is presented in a very impressive way-one of the best in food dramas- vivid colors, perfect rich sounds, fire, water, steam, all very nicely given and very proper for the whole drama aesthetics. The couple looks interesting, they are really different in so many ways, appearance wise, she's got that chubby baby face full of life and he's got that skinny look of a picky, introvert, snob and aloof guy. I have no expectations from the storyline-ive given up my high standards on romcoms-but i ll keep on watching for the sake of the looks of it. One epic mistake they did: in the scene where his secretary has dinner with her bestie, the restaurant is supposed to be Finish but the church bell on the center of decoration has line underneath in pure greek: "παναγια η γοργεπήκοος" meaning "holy Mary the one who listens quickly (the prayers of people)" Also the pictures around are from greek islands. I dont get it, how can someone confuse Greece with Finland, they re so far away with each other and with huge differences both culturally and geographically lol It was very weird cause i know chinese people know many things about Greece-who did that huge mistake from the production team.
So you mean not bad = 8,5 (which basically means very good or great)?
Dramas with a lower rating, often happen to be masterpieces. It depends. Most of the times, the lower rating to a very artistic drama, comes from younger audience or in case of an edgy-"difficult" main story, conservative people can bury it to the lower scale. Of course its a matter of personal taste, but many people want from dramas to portrait ideal heroes, rightful characters etc. For the rest of us who dont have such needs, the rating depends only on the artistic side of the whole project, the performances, the storytelling etc. Personally im a very strict viewer. I ve given MANY 1-2 points in dramas that are blockbusters, highly successful for the majority and ive given pure 9-10 to dramas that may trigger people with stuff such incest, cheating, bad heroes etc. The only criteria for someone to watch a drama/movie should be only his/her personal instict or maybe watching 1-2 ep is a good way to decide if watching further. I never get influenced by comments and ratings though i like to read what people write under a show. Otherwise i may lose a good watch.
I just finished ep 7 and don't know if it's normal that Dong Hee is one of the characters that interest me the…
Actually im already fangirling for 3-4 guys in this drama (the manager-secretary, the enemy teacher, the 2 students, the bad guy older brother, too many cuties in this drama!

Currently in the middle (ep9), its a pretty decent watch. Very nice performances, smooth storytelling, i wish it wasnt that focused on students life, though i like the main point about greedy heartless parents who neglect their child's needs, the hypocricy of the so called "family", the corruption etc. My only problem is the FL's stylist-hair, clothing, i mean wtf? Does the stylist hate her? What kind of hair is that? What kind of clothing? She's running a very cute, clean and cosy take away restaurant, she meets so many people everyday, who had the crazy idea to dress her like a granny doing her everyday chores? And her hair...they look as if they havent been washed for about a month or so. Another EPIC fail is the age gap. I dont mean the age gap between the actors or the heroes-i m always fine with age gaps no matter who is the older one-male or female. But we saw them 12 years ago, he was already in university and she was about 25-i guess she is 3-4 years older than him. But the way they re portraying her...she looks older than 55yo and not in good shape. AND a virgin? Middle aged people virgins again in kdrama? Arent they tired of showing grown ups who never had sex? Bonus: the 2 male students friendship and at the same time love enemies-relationship. They re both tooooo cute and their interactions are priceless (im sure all the BL fans out there will get crazy over them).
This is a decent watch drama. The characters aren't likeable I should say. From the leads to supporting casts.…
Its 2023. Even during past centuries not all women were seeking for security cause relationships are not contracts and love is not a deal between one who needs security and a stronger who provides it. Marriage doesnt provide any kind of security and everyday statistics and stories prove that. If someone wants security, he or she should find a good insurance company. Love should be about wanting to spend your life with someone because of who he is and because of what you share with him or her. Also not all women want kids, plus a couple can have legal kids without getting married.
Okay, I need a question answered to help me decide if I should at least continue on with the drama. I've made…
There's nothing worth watching so you better save your time. No relationship or any worth watching interactions between the main leads, no story, nonsense overall.
MY GOD I'm just 10 mins into this and I've never wanted to see a woman get her ass beat so much in my damn life.…
IKR? She didnt have ANY medical skills (neither ethics) to begin with! And to think that im not the kind of viewer who wants to see only good and kind characters-on the contrary, i love bad heroes/heroines who have their reasons to be that bad even if i dont agree with those reasons! The person is pure garbage and the writers did NOTHING to justify her garbage-ious persona!
Just started watching-currently on ep 4 and i love it so far! Main characters are portrayed in a bit grotesque…
At first i was biased towards the ML, he looks more like a flower boy than the character he's portraying but i was wrong. He is the perfect uneducated, rich, fancy, not-knowing-what-he's doing-guy, but with very good deep traits in his core as a man. Yeap, up to now, no cliches at all. They even have a past like normal adults! I m always so tired of 30yo who are clueless about everything involving flirting and love in kdramas
If he is just someone who tells the story to the officer, then we might get a happy ending. Thankfully he is very witty to die that easily, but the first scene is not that promising for a good ending. I mean there are so many armed men behind him and we see him walking to his death
