On episode 4 and I am deathly sick of listening to stupid girls screaming.Srsly tho you’d think these dumb asses…
they are literally high school kids drafted into a war with barely 3 week's training. yes they're annoying af but it makes sense why they're incompetent and traumatized...
This was fucking amazing! I binged all 6 eps till 4am and now I am suffering at my early morning gym workout session lmao.
It's kind of like All of Us Area Dead but slightly more fun and with even more asshole teenagers. I'm surprised there's not as much buzz in for this drama tho... I guess not being on Netflix may have hampered it's overseas popularity..
Probably the best drama of 2023 so far and it’ll be hard for future dramas to live up to this level of quality.…
I feel like Seo-woo's decision and the subsequent breakup came off as super dumb and annoying because the network cut APOYM short, and it would have been more reasonable/fleshed out with the extra 4 episodes it was supposed to have.
I thought the AI aspects were rather cool tbh, but they weren't the point of the drama just a plot device; it was a healing/slice of life story, not sci-fi/fantasy.
but I agree, it has a lot of similarities with CiL even though, obv, very diff plots.
My expectations were low but the first episode was actually good. BONA's character, I can already guess, I will not like very much but she's pretty so whatever. WDH's acting was good and the ML was really fun even if the actual case was a bit, um, lame. But the humor and the vibes were immaculate. The CGI/visual effects were very noticeable but they looked super cool!
The actor playing Jang is literally a villain in another currently airing Joseon drama. Someone give this man a break.
I'm still confused tho - did he set the fire or not? Are we getting a morally gray character?
Probably the best drama of 2023 so far and it’ll be hard for future dramas to live up to this level of quality. I’d say it’s a mix of My Mister and A Piece of Your Mind in terms of vibes, healing aspects, depth, heaviness and character development. (edit to be more specific on what I meant with these comparisons)
yeah, I struggled again to finish the episode and I even did some FFing. I don't really have that much to comment. Before, the drama had a lot of humour and playfulness, that made it fun to watch but now it's all grim and serious. Ik the murder mystery was always a core part, but there was a nice balance imo with the lighter side. I'm also checked out since this kinda mystery plot has been done better in countless other shows. The evil pyscho, the handsome medical professional being a murderer, the red herrings, the diabolical monologues and the scene where heroes are on the verge of dying, etc. etc.
In terms of positives, I'm glad we finally have a clear timeline of what happened that day, since I was very confused on that score. Also the OST is so beautiful and effective. The acting by the ML and SML is also extremely good.
I'm sorry but I will keep harping on this bc it struck a chord with my broke ass. we've seen how much poverty sucks in this drama countless times lol. Poor man had to give up on his dreams because of debt and he even lost his father to the damned loan payments. No wonder he's so sensitive about money. Meanwhile, this super privileged cop just mocks him for being a money grubbing, miserly Grinch with 0 apology. My fav scene of this was when last EP. he told her his sad backstory and she was just like "damn that sucks bro 🙂" & moved on to another topic 💀💀

I can't wait until April 21st for Part II... T-T
