I love Xianxias and especially the ones with teacher-student relationship but in this one I don't like much Chong Zi's character. I honestly don't know if it's Chao Yue's fault or not but I really don't feel emotionally connected with Chong Zi at all. I've only watched 4 episodes. I'll definitely keep watching it. I'm just a little disappointed so far. At least I can enjoy Jeremy Xu's gorgeous looks lol . It's an expensive production. You can tell that this is an S drama. You could even take it for an S+ I just don't feel emotionally invested into Chong Zi , that's all. Normally I get emotionally attached to the main leads of the dramas I watch. That's not the case with this one 😐 At least Yin Fan is kind of flirty lol. He's enjoyable and not the normal cold teacher hahaa
In the Chinese novel the Prince and the female lead had developed a series of nods / body language gestures and they had a nonverbal communication system. At the beginning they used this body language to communicate in public places where they couldn't talk normally. That connected them deeply and later on they subconsciously started to pay attention on each other's faces and immediately knew from each other's expression if something was going wrong. That was amazing in the Chinese novel and I'm expecting from this KDrama to deliver it as well. ❤️❤️ They could "talk" without talking , they had chemistry and the Prince always knew when the female lead was under phychological pressure and he would always try to comfort her. I believe that's why Hwan gave her an apple in the Korean version. To make her smile and not necessarily to reward her.
Happy(more like open), with slight romance. BUT the producer of this Kdrama said on an interview that they will…
Yes. Seong On's character is "Wang Yun" from the Chinese novel. The only difference is that in the KDrama Seong On is son of a minister but at the Chinese novel Wang Yun(Seong On) is the 7th brother of the Main male lead. But the rest of it is similar. The male lead in both stories considers Wang Yun/Seong On as a good friend/brother and trusts him not completely but surely a lot. Wang Yun tries to harm the prince and the female lead. So if they follow the novel Seong On will soon become evil and try to kill Hwan. Min Jae Yi will soon hate him deeply.
Did the CP recognize her as a woman? I thought she confessed to who she was and that's how he found out and he…
Actually he asked who's your father ? She replied the name of the minister. Then he said "His son is dead so you must be his daughter". He kind of recognised her . Not completely on his own but he still recognised her. For being a woman under the disguise. I'm glad he did. Honestly I don't like cross dressing at all. If they had used the 'I don't know you're a woman ' trope I'd have dropped the drama. I'm so glad he figured it out instantly. Now he has her by his side as an eunuch but knowing that she's a woman he gets charmed by her. That's so sweet

The only moment I felt that Min Jae Yi is in shock and depressed was at the middle of ep4 when she was talking to Hwan and he said "I feel you . I don't remember either what happened the year that my brother passed away" indicating that she's under shock and she cannot remember the face of the guard whom participated in the massacre That was Hwan's way to say "Hey I know you're in shock . It's ok I've been there ". It was some kind of comfort he gave her. We know Hwan has hyperthymesia. A condition were he remembers everything even if he sees it 1 time only. For him not to remember a whole year is ....a big deal
I am enjoying the drama so far, and there were two things that I found really interesting these are my observations:The…
Most K dramas don't have that much realism 😢 Often we see main leads overcoming too quickly huge shocks and the plot moves on as if it's no big deal... As for Seong On , I think we can all see that the writers want to turn him into an enemy of Prince Hwan eventually. I don't know if he'll become a love rival as well but he definitely will become an enemy. I think the writers just try to give to Seong On reasons to be angry with the prince. I believe Seong On 's character exists in this show to become a rival later on. The writing is a little messy here. They don't give us valid reasons for Seong On to hate Hwan but I'm willing to overlook those plot holes because I like this drama a lot 😅 But yeah Seong On's logic is weird. He gets irritated just because Hwan asks an eunuch to co-investigate. Lol no big deal to be mad at. That's just bad writing I hope they'll give us a few more valid reasons of why Seong On will be tunred into a bad guy
Ep 4 …. So now every time the two leads have their flirty smile the episode ends ? They’re gonna play us like…
There's a trailer in YouTube that shows her getting heavily injured in the head and bleeding a lot and then Hwan carried her on his arms lol The title of the video is "Our blooming youth ep0" I'm looking forward for those scenes 😅
Same here! After watching the trailer, I'm also starting to wonder whether the wife of the demon prince (the elder…
Some people whom have read the novel said that the 2nd couple will be fine (if they follow the novel) and that it's the 1rst couple which is going to suffer a bad ending because the male lead will sacrifice himself. I only care about the demon lord and his wife but I can feel the pain of the ppl who like the other couple as well...
if someone read the book, can you please spoile me the end? it's happy or sad?
Happy(more like open), with slight romance. BUT the producer of this Kdrama said on an interview that they will not follow the novel entirely and that they'll create their own story in the process. Which means that they could change the ending completely. Also they've already changed many things. For example in "The golden hairpin" the prince never had a big role in the plot. Here prince Hwan has a huge part and he's almost the centre of everything that's happening. Also in the Chinese novel the prince was engaged in the beginning of the book with a very beautiful woman whom suddenly disappeared from the palace. The Prince ordered the eunuch-Female lead to help him find his betrothed . Later his fiance got found dead (which fuelled even more the rumours of his curse). Here prince Hwan has no fiance so far. They've already changed so many things. Min jae yi isn't the main protagonist at all and they share the screen time with Hwan. Prince Hwan is having the biggest parts so far and the plot isn't female centric . I believe they'll add much more romance between them. That's why they deleted prince Hwan's fiance from the plot. They wanted Hwan to be single and more "open" to a relationship with Min Jae Yi. It's obvious that this adaptation is focusing a lot more in romance. I like that 😅❤️
Do you think she will end up with the prince or her fiancé?
The Prince like the Chinese Novel. Seong On's love towards Min Jae yi will be one sided. This is not a love triangle. Min Jae Yi's good impression of Seong On will quickly change later on

Figuring out you love your student the last 4 minutes of the drama....
Me fangirling endlessly ❤️😅🔥

Kdramas aren't popular in our country and it's rare to find someone whom watches them.😅
Πάντα χαίρομαι να βρίσκω άτομα από Ελλάδα
