Does it have Love Triangle/Polygon stuff? Cause I'm really bored and annoyed with all that after seeing it a few…
No. She was betrothed to an other guy but the marriage never happened and she doesn't even care much since she's fixed on clearing her name and finding the culprit. It's clear that the writers focus on her and the prince and not the other dude
Female lead is no joke. She knows damn well how to fight. Picks up a sword and knocks out 7 guards lol. I like the seriousness of this drama. The politics, the corrupted officials, the fight for the power and the strangling of Prince Yi Hwan whom tries to be a good son but fails to overcome his disability/(or possession ....whatever that is.) Jae Yi is truly fearless and she'll teach Prince Hwan that no course can control his mind and soul. He mustn't get shallowed by it. The sismance overwhelmed me.
I really like second couple, especially after today trailer, they look like will have very sweet cute dynamic))
Me too. I'm gonna watch it because of the 2nd couple. After watching countless historical dramas with the "perfect male lead" trope, now I prefer more morally grey male leads. Dramas like Till the end of the moon , Love between fairy and devil , Unchained Love and this one are my favourites at the moment. Because the male leads in all those dramas have rebellious personalities and they change and become better people after falling in love. They are not perfect or upright from the start but they trying their best to improve for the woman they love. The 1rst couple in Starry love ( heavenly god and rebellious girl ) is the same as every other Xianxia out there. I can name 100 dramas with that type of a couple.
The plot sounds unique and refreshing. š I would be more happy if it's wasn't a cringy rom-comedy. I'd prefer if it was serious but I'll watch it anyway because I like heroicals
The journey of Chong Zi The journey of Flower Identical plots , identical titles š Those dramas aren't coming from the same novel but seriously they are almost the same (with only a few deferences)
Are ppl liking this? Iām thinking of picking it up tomorrow.
I've watched 6 episodes. Some parts of the plot don't make sense at all and the scenario gets childish from time to time. The mafia is acting guffy and you can tell that writers focus only on the romance and they didn't bother much with the undercover organisations. But overall it is very enjoyable though because of the chemistry between the main couple. It has plenty of action and suspense so I never felt bored. It's a cute series and a decent one.
can some one tell me where i can find the book i would love to read it ?
https://www.qimao.com/shuku/158230/ Use auto translation. It's easy to understand even if some sentences are weird. I'm on chapter 7 and I had no problems understanding the plot.
Hi. Have you reached the end of the novel? May I know if it ends with a happy ending, and did any of the characters…
No, I've read only a few chapters. Even if it's auto translated, it's still readable and easy to understand. But it's very depressing at some points.š Mi Lan is so abused by her cruel mother that she's constantly thinking of committing suicide. She's blind and she cannot escape her mother nor she can leave her home , so the only way out for her is death. The only light in her depressing life is the relationship she develops with Shen Ziheng (whom is also a tragic character but for different reasons). She delayed her suicide plans for a few days only to help him and then she would continue to have such thoughts. It's sad
Apparently, they are dusting it off as we speak. And with good reason -it cost 300 million yuan (64 million USD…
Yeah it's obvious from the summary that they changed the plot in the K drama. Personally I don't mind curses being involved in the story. As for the original " golden hairpin" ....it's probably gonna air in 2030 š I feel sorry for the producers whom lost a lot of money from Kris Wu 's case but I'm glad he's in jail.
It's funny that the original Chinese drama "the golden hairpin" will probably never be released due to a scandal, and yet they sold the rights for a Korean adaptation š Not bad China. At least you gave us a chance to watch an adaptation.
I'm so exited for this drama. I really can't wait to watch it. I even started reading the novel and it's very good. Mi Lan (Female lead ) is a very unfortunate person. Not only she's blind but she's aslo a victim of domestic violence. Her mother constantly beats her every day, to the point that hair are missing from her head (since she presses her head against the wall and hits it). Mi Lan is severely depressed , she rarely eats and she even tried to commit suicide. Her father is always absent from home. He's a military officer and he doesn't give a shit about what's happening in his own house. Mi Lan is absolutely helpless and she's the biggest victim of her insane mother. Shen Zhiheng on the other hand , has his own problems. He's rich, powerful and a philanthropist but most importantly he's against the Japanese colonisation which lead him to be targeted by assassins. One night in the middle of a dark road, Assassins shot him in the head and all his body with a machine-gun and he took it all as if it was nothing lol. He stood back up , killed some of those guys and asked the remaining ones whom was the mastermind behind the assassination. Although Shen Zhiheng is "a monster" ...."a vampire " , he's honourable and loves to help the poor by giving money etc. He only drinks the blood of animals or blood that has been donated to hospitals in blood bags. He isn't a threat to anyone. This drama makes you wonder who the real monster is. ZhiHeng or the evil humans ?! š I vote the 2nd
They are such a hot couple. He cannot resist her . Whenever she nods at him and smiles playfully, he's losing it š Their chemistry is amazing. I'm not a fan of yuki chen but in this drama she proves that she's a talented actor. I love to watch both her and Dylan. Their acting is superb.

I used to like that trope. Now I'm a little tired of it. Want something refreshing.

I was thinking the same .š I watched a few eps and its a good series so far.
