Dreadful puerile pap, my brain melted halfway through the first episode, obvs not for grumpy old gits who don't appreciate it's finer points.

Lots of good points coming through on the Castaway Diva as metaphor which is clever.
Still not really bothered about the characters though. Can't quite get the hang of the FL character and the MLs do nothing for me at all. I'm afraid the lack of interest in the leads sort of looses my interest in who is Kiho I mean creepy nerd one or bit mean boring one?

I find the music a little mainstream for my tastes but that's the same same for nearly all dramas
Still the actors are good so there is time yet they might pull it out of the hat.

Excellent meander down the river

I feel like the 'castaway' part is a bit wasted , like it's just there to move the plot along you can hang just about anything on it. Which is a shame really.
The acting is good but I'm finding it hard to care about any of them.

Nice little Movie - nothing new (if you read Manga that is) but quite well put together. The acting is a little amateur and it all feels a little rushed.

Sadly too much of a 'mature' J drama for me

The second-hand embarrassment factor in this is strong. As with the comment below I'm finding it increasingly difficult to root for the leads neither of them come over as likeable.

Thoroughly enjoyable romp, don't pay too much attention to the details just enjoy the show.

Childish more than quirky for me, just not grabbing me at all. Lee You Mi is the stand out from the first few episodes but she's not enough.

I found it on video on eBay and I'm rewatching it reet now. This really is a quite astounding bit of TV,.
Dated? yeah! Bit schmaltzy? yeah! Crushingly sad? Oh my goodness me YES! Crammed full of heart warming marvelousness? Indeed YES!
Absobloodylutely worth watching? Yes I cannot recommend it enough.
the K version is perhaps the most polished and accessible but this is the classic on which they are all based. No celebs, no handsome heroes, no serial killers just people.

Not that I can think of straight away. It's not particularly popular in dramaland and the few that spring to mind (that I can't remember the names of) are quite heavy usually about the person from the less popular Asian country being treated poorly

Tried it again whilst ironing and again it's like saccharine candy floss - sweet fluffy and with no actual calorific value whatsoever.

Excellently shot but not enough substance and too much violence porn for me to finish.
