Hmm tried a couple of episodes and struggled with it - visually it's great but the acting left me icy cold. Sun Qian I didn't mind but the chaps on the whole were terribly wooden. I might dip back in if only for the well choreographed fight scenes (strangely I can cope with a featherlight chick beating up boys due to it being Thai Chi far more than if they were using hard martial arts) A major factor for my lack of interest was the way she got into college it made it hard for me to root for her.
Surprisingly enjoyable so far though the best subs I have found so far are spoiled by another out of sync set floating above them - Oh Well. It's unsubbed on YT, badly subbed on DM and with overwritten subs on DC
Brilliant review and now I've read the comments I'm even happier -I'm a big RomCom fan but a sucker for Sci fi so I might try this because I'm terribly well rounded don't you know.
The Gary Stu-ness of the ML sort of makes the FL pointless, she's the genius but he always works it out before she does. I mean why go to all the bother of setting her up as a rather plodding genius when after watching 15 minutes of her working it out he's all like "yup! Knew that!" Why didn't you just save us 15 wasted mins of our lives and tell us then?
I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with the way that chap is behaving to a woman so much younger than him, not sure I'd think that was ok if they were the same age ... bit predatory really.
I love that Tae Bong doesn't get possessive or jealous over Dal Ja's friendship with Sae Do. Kdramas in the romance…
Totally agree I find it terribly off putting when a mature likeable ML suddenly turns into a childish possessive fool. It makes him hard to root for and if the FL does what she is told ...well surprising how many 'strong' female leads tow the line - c.f. 1% of Something.
third time - episode 3 - still pants dropped for good
One of the ways to make me turn something off is persistence - I just dumped Dating in the Kitchen when he moved in next door to her after regretting breaking up...
Just wondering, have you noticed the amount of romcoms you can choose from, instead coming to a workplace drama…
Wut? Can I only watch RomComs? Is it in my contract...? Damn I knew I should have read the small print. ALL TIME 7,046 episodes, 616 shows . I try not to chose what to watch purely by it's genre you can miss so many gems that way.

Na not for me.
Splendid.
But just not enough.
