too long and boring

What does one think while going to a movie, that they might connect to the character for its pain and enjoy its happiest moments. And more of all to watch the favorite actor for 2hour is actually a joy. But this movie had me like when is it going to finish.. It was plainly BORING for me.

Actually, it took the whole hometown and all the characters his father, teacher, friends, enemies, the girl he liked, and the girl that liked him, and hence it got all tangled up.
The movie is too long and the character is just fighting in the present. Half of the character's past is not shown so it's difficult to connect to them. The fights are not comical, but frustrating. It should have rather concentrated on a few characters than mess up with all.
The romance seemed a bit imposed. It was OK when it was one-sided showing the first crush feels but in the latter part it just came out of nowhere without any connection happening. The father-son story was also not developed well.
since I didn't enjoy the story I didn't like the acting as well, nobody moved me.
The only good thing I liked about the movie was the rapping of Hak Su

Unexpectedlly good series

Honestly, I didn’t expect a sequel to the drama Mia 2018. but it was a surprise indeed. I also thought about how the previous drama is named Mia 2018 and this one is Aruna 2019, but as I started watching the drama I realized that she is no longer a wife(Mia) but an individual who is known for herself, not by relationship status of a housewife.

●PLOT VIEW
This drama has three friends, Aruna and Wipha are trying to step into a new relationship. Aruna’s daughter and Wipha’s boyfriend's son hatch problems for their relationship. Whereas Tharee is struggling with a new baby and a busy husband where she hardly gets time for herself.
This is a perfect short drama showcasing how a child feels when they see their parents in a new relationship, feelings of a divorced person in a new relationship and their respective partners trying to get along with the kids, aftereffects of pregnancy. It shows some mental health changes people face which we tend to ignore instead of understanding the person. And it is ok if we talk to counselors. It shows how to deal with problems rather than run away from them.

●ACTING/CAST
Each and Every cast is excellent. Aruna(Bee) and Wasin(Film) as usual show tremendous chemistry. The child actors Nuda and August were excellent like they are so young but they are so expressive in their roles. their cuteness is so charming.

●MUSIC And REWATCH
Music is interesting too and I find it kind of peaceful.
Rewatch is a yes, it's heartwarming but does not hold high expectations for it's a short drama and highly predictable.

●CRITICISM
There is a cooking show hosted by Aruna because we know she has become a celebrity now. But there isn't any complex cooking, it's just simple everyday dishes with lots of product placement. I actually expected to learn a thing or two from watching the cooking show but I already know more than that so that's a disappointment for me.

●FAV SCENE
Nuda talking asking Wasin four questions is the most heartfelt scene of the drama and my favorite. This scene made me cry and emotional. The questions were genuine and how she faced it despite all her fears. Ep 6

●WISDOM
Cooking food is like family together. When all kinds of ingredients blend together they create a flavorful dish, same as the understanding, truth, loyalty, respect and love that keep a family together.

Why need a cheating husband you can Live your own life

PLOT VIEW
When I first started this, I wasn't sure if I would like it. Its another story of Mia(Wife) who is a housewife, dedicated her life to family and house but in the end gets cheated on. Simple story right, might sound boring too. But there is more, Its the rise of MIA, who undergoes the change to become a strong person, personally and professionally.
The premise of the drama is interesting and there are some great twists and turns. It has great drama and emotion. I was taken aback by how far the writer was willing to go. Also, I love the fact that I got some of my guesses right.

ACTING/CAST
The casting was powerful, each and every one. Like I won't say there was just acting because they had some steamy chemistry as well as deeply engraved emotions.
Bee Namthip(Aruna), Protagonist was awesome. She becomes the femme fatale that I thought was needed for that role, gracefully wearing a sexy wardrobe with short hair she nailed the role of housewife turning into a successful woman.
Pong Nawat(Thada) was good playing the cheating husband. He surely looked like an uncaring person but in truth, he just wanted to be responsible for things he did wrong.
Film Thanapat( Wasin) had a cold display face but eventually, he went on to be better. He was a good friend, advisor, and good human who helped Aruna to find her individuality. He showed a cold face in the first half but had great variations in the latter half. He was not the jealous kind but someone like a reliable lover. Wasin was calm and relaxed waiting until the end.
Marie (Kanya) she looked like vanilla ice cream, in the beginning, you feel like eating it. But when you keep on eating that cold vanilla ice cream you get a toothache and had to visit a dentist, that what happened here. She was rude, selfish, psychotic, arrogant with just a good face. She was too good in displaying her furious psychotic side. But don’t understand why she became like that because nothing about her youth is explained.

MUSIC
OST were nice and give goosebumps whenever it was played in the most intense moments. But it was also so repetitive that I got bored at times. The other BGM was perfectly put in the scenes.

REWATCH
I would definitely rewatch this for Aruna, the display of the strong woman is really inspiring.

APPRECIATION
the husband was wrong and showed guilty. And he understood he was wrong was a very positive thing of the drama.
Aruna's success, she was not the woman who sit and cry for the cheating husband but live her life to the fullest. And she didn’t ignore her daughter and also sought psychiatric treatment for her to help with the broken family.

FAV SCENE
Wasin and Aruna first meet. It was awkward and sweet.

RECOMMENDATION
I would recommend it to those who like typical Lakron. Steamy Kiss, Bitchy Fights but that doesn't involve FL. It is a good watch because of its simple storyline and magnificent actors

The problem in today’s society is that we judge people too soon, either because of appearance or because we have already heard rumors about them, or because of the phrase “first impression is the last impression”. I did that in the past too. But at present, I get to know them and do not make an opinion beforehand.

This inter-generational TV movie was heartwarming, sending in the message that you can find friendship in unexpected people. It shows how a 68 YEAT OLD NEW EMPLOYEE, Nimotto is assigned under a 28year old team leader, Mayuko.

They both are suddenly dumbfounded and couldn’t think how to react. Should Nimotto be respected more because of his age or the 28-year-old be respected more because of her designation? they also face issues when Nimotto is unable to do work because he doesn’t know how to work with the computer and tablets. Mayuko is stressed due to new project ideas and she also has an old employee who can't do his job.

Nimotto is passionate to work so he learns the new working environment quickly and because of years of experience, he knows the stress in the workplace. while working overtime he bonds with the team leader Mayuko who is always excluded from chat sessions of the subordinates because she is the boss. They both form a friendship as they even accidentally meet in a restaurant with their partners. The old couple shares their experience while the young couple learns from their experience to lead a happy and peaceful life. their respective partners also bond over cooking class and feel like mother and son.

The movie also shows workplace harassment, the female employee being bullied, and rumors flying because you have a good colleague. it has good entertainment value and teaches some good values too. some people might think that after retirement who wants to work, but there are some people who find working more recreational than a hobby.

The acting was impressive by all the actors, especially the female lead playing Mayuko.

Full oF Action

This movie fully revolved around professional fighting, about the lives of three fighters in their younger days who became involved in a crime. They are forced to fight again due to their present circumstances or simply saying the need for money. The backstory is well written which shows the societal difference they faced due to greedy people and still live in it. They are professional fighters, so they cant use their force to fight when they see something wrong, otherwise, it would be against the rules. I felt really bad due to the backstory because, they were young unaware of the laws too, which the elderly use to manipulate the people and they couldn't do anything.

The actors tried their best with the script they were given. Younger actors also did an excellent job portraying the characters perfectly. The emotions they showcased made the backstory strong.
Hwang Jung Min portraying the noodle owner and a father had a delicate storyline and he nailed it. His struggle as a single father and the way he bonds with her daughter was magnificent.
Yu Jun Sang as the office worker fighting legend was also amazing. He finally broke off from the unhealthy friendship and chose something for himself.
Yoon Je Moon, well he always looks like a villain to me. He had a funny and friendly feel in the movie.

Because it has no unnecessary BGM, having silence and natural sounds is nice.

Although it's an action movie I would watch this again to see the mixed martial arts done by the actors.

brutal revenge drama

●FIRST IMPRESSION I wished to see revenge-oriented drama, and this drama showed me a very brutal revenge drama with toxic relationships.

●PLOT VIEW
ML showed what an act of revenge meant, he tore apart a family into pieces bit by bit and relished his success. FL was so pitiful nah stupid, I mean how can you forgive a guy who wants to molest all the female members of the family, that would be the stupidest decision ever. He definitely deserves jail for it.
FL was too weak, she wanted to fight but surrendered too easily. She also didn’t see how ML used reverse psychology. Why do these people go abroad to study when they really can judge the nature of people beside them. Like the sister-in-law was too cruel to the brother and I hated her.
This lakron had so much toxicity that it messed up my mind. This one guy single-handedly destroyed a family, and his revenge ways were sick.

●ACTING/CAST
I am satisfied with the drama but not happy because the amount of emotions I felt was due to the story not due to the actors. They lacked a lot to express the correct emotions because they were loud and shouting most of the time.

●MUSIC
it was inappropriate. It didn’t fit the mood of the scenes. Why a romantic BGM for an angry scene, why push them for romance when they are having a fight.

●REWATCH
Its not possible for me to watch it again, it is so toxic.

●RECOMMENDATION
if anyone wants to watch a revenge drama this is a must-watch for sure.

does colour have gender?

●PLOT VIEW
So the synopsis sounded extraordinary, After so many cliche storylines in recent dramas. After watching and analyzing it I think it was a cliche drama but the background of the storyline had a bold approach. It was then a simple story where a top student is stuck in life and all his batchmates have achieved success. After meeting his first love he slowly and steadily gains self-confidence.
It was scripted beautifully. Especially the PINK obsession plotline was my favorite. It was so beautiful that I rewatched the scene of confrontation repeatedly. Both the doctor's approach towards the patient was a bit personal which didn’t fit the professional ethics.

●ACTING/CAST
Yoon Shi Hoon nailed his character of an unsuccessful person. His hair and overweight personality was best portrayed. He really delivered his acting well during the whole 8 episodes of the show!
Hani's acting was so so, but it's okay though.

●REWATCH
Yes, I would watch this real soon. And it is short so I could binge this in one sitting

●RECOMMENDATION
If you like dramas with bold concepts but still heartwarming. This drama should be then added to your PTW.

●APPRECIATION
The story is unique, And somehow educational. Many people don't know about this kind of difficulty and I love how the cast portrays their emotions.

●FAV SCENE
PINK blow-up scene.

its a magical love story

●FIRST IMPRESSION
So I was really confused with the synopsis, I mean how can a person return back after a year just because of a promise. It's impossible and seems illogical so I tried to avoid this.
But today I gave this movie a try because of Son Ye Jin, and I have to say it didn’t disappoint a bit.

●PLOT VIEW
I enjoyed every bit of the movie. The opening cartoon scene with the narration of SYJ was the sweet starter to the heartwarming tale. There was even a mind-boggling closure to that confusing synopsis, which held me to my feet.

●ACTING/CAST
So Ji Sub, I saw him for the first time and he aced the character of Jung Woo Jin. All the other characters the kid, uncle, swimming instructor were also were entertaining and without them, this would not have been as good as it is. They are very good supporting characters. Park Seo Joon cameo is too cute.

●MUSIC
The music is subtle and minimal.

●REWATCH
I think I need to rewatch this with my love. It is such a pure love that I want him to see the essence.

●RECOMMENDATION
Highly recommend to people who want to watch a slice of a love story, because this will make you believe in love. I was amazed and thankful for this beautiful story.

a really good movie

This movie definitely deserves praise. I went in to watch this after finishing Police University. It was a good story, with good action and awesome acting by Seo Joon Park. Well, I wasn’t able to recognize Ha Neul Kang, he looked so slim and that military hairstyle suited him so much. The bromance was awesome.

The story felt as if the students might run away from the university as I interpreted it from the title but here the students chase after bad people to save a girl, but come across a gang and then fight with all their might risking their future as police officers. They show what they had learned in the university and also what they want to do in the future if they become police officers.

If one wants to watch some fun but with some serious story, this MIDNIGHT RUNNER is a good option.

depiction on how the society sees the teen preganancy

Basically, an enjoyable movie, where the characters are sometimes likable and sometimes immature. You know every person grows, some with time and some in the blink of a moment.
Showing up an ugly truth of the society where a pregnant teen or a woman is always a female fault. Like why is it a fault, it happens due to two individuals, so why only the female is to blame.
You cannot adopt a child if you are single, but you cannot get an abortion if you are underage. Why give the responsibility of raising a kid to a teen than to have an abortion. She has just begun her life. Because this society is run by the rules of adults.

I love Kim Hyun Soo, though I have seen her in various movies, but recognized her since The Penthouse series. She had a way to make her character come to life. She lives up to the expectation so well. She was a mature teen but still had the charm of adolescence who makes mistakes, embraces mistakes, and struggles to find a space in the harsh society.

Kim Hye Soo was nice, showing the exploited character of a diva, who is an immature adult and selfish. She deserved all the hate throughout but claimed her share of claps in the end when she actually did something against her usual self.
I hated the sister who was selfish and duped her in that status. she was the real selfish.
One should definitely watch this movie to see the different approaches/ views of adults towards teen pregnancy. the family, the school, the friends, neighbors, strangers, and the FATHER OF THE KID.

A fun watch

●HOW I CAME TO IT
After watching a clip of a show from the wedding sequence, I was convinced to watch it.

●FIRST IMPRESSION
This grown-up man is too mature to be playing a playboy character. If I would really see him in a club, I would pass by without noticing him.

●PLOT VIEW
The plot was pretty decent and well written. Every character had its own pace and growth but you know there are characters who constantly get on the nerves and that was ML. He was a typical playboy sleeping around with women and had no sense of responsibility. Rosarin was a strong, mature, and understanding woman. Even though she didn’t like Korn, she had compassion towards him. They both had an awesome equation. it was amusing to see the guy being forced into marriage because until now only females had an unwilling marriage.
Father of the ML was one tough cookie, but still delicious. he had humor and played well with dialogues and expressions. he had more life experiences and I sometimes doubt his decision of marriage but, it somewhat seemed correct from his eyes. he needed someone to put some sense into his spoilt son.
Arnon and Pim were adorable as a couple and as brother and sister to the leads. Their constant bickering from the start, I knew they were going to be shown as a couple later.
Orn was a negative character and she was total drama. I hated how she cheated the mother of Korn.

●ACTING/CAST
Weir is not charming. No offense to his admirers, he has got a mature, rough look so when he played the grownup spoilt playboy character I couldn’t stop laughing. He was annoying at times but managed to grow up in the series.
Min as Rosarin was lovely, her confidence and quick wit were what made her smart and humble at heart. her wardrobe was equally outstanding, loved each of her outfits.
Bank Artit is one of my favorite characters, he was totally charming the show with his smile.
All the supporting characters, mother, father, sister, brother maid, and friends were humorous and gave the drama a happy vibe.

●MUSIC
Although I don’t remember the OST, It was subtle and the songs matched the sequence nicely.

●REWATCH
I would rewatch a few of my favorite sequences for it has lots of humor.

●FAV SCENE
Rose staying in the apartment - ep 4
The wedding sequence - ep 6

●RECOMMENDATION
If you want a light romantic comedy with a good plotline, you should watch this drama.

●AFTERTHOUGHT
In my country India, it is illegal to practice dowry, so I was shocked to see it. I didn’t know the dowry system of Thailand, so it was quite amusing to see that dowry was given by the groom to the bride, and that's how marriages are framed with money or in other words as a contract marriage.

●HOW I CAME TO IT
This drama was recommended to me by a friend, she loved it so much that she wanted me to watch it.

●FIRST IMPRESSION
AVERAGE, After listening to my friend's views, I gave it a try and my impression is average. Because clearly, I didn’t like it for its plotline.

●PLOT VIEW
even though I skipped a few scenes of ML it didn't feel I missed something. he was so messed up trying to prove himself right. goddamn accept your wrong and pay for your crimes is what he deserved.
It started off with a disastrous sequence leaping into a revenge drama and falling in love. the most hated ML, Parin I would have ever seen. You are sleeping around like a dog and then torturing her too, really. Even if the girl is a prostitute, it is her job, and it is her choice to sleep or not.
When the FL, Mita falls for him, my heart sank I wanted her to take revenge literally. He doesn't deserve forgiveness IMO. He is a rapist and doesn't feel guilty about his crime, he shows himself as a victim, excuse me you raped a drunk girl thinking her to be a prostitute, NO NO Its not justified it's a crime. He was set my blood to boil and I wanted to punch him many times. When he gave out lectures to Chen and others, showing as if he is the wisest and knowledgeable person but we say that it's easy to give advice than to follow.
Mita's father was so irritating, he was walking sick waiting to fall down at every tough situation. He was irking and making life more difficult for Mita.
Gaweena and Chanathip were supporting characters, but the character growth of chana led me to complete the drama. The coffee shop love story was quite interesting.
Naphasiri was a typical lakron villain. Portraying model and leaching off rich BF and jumping onto rich people for money and making life hell for Mita
Trairot was an interesting villain. I kind of liked his storyline and characterization. But he was too delved into his greed of love that he can't see what's right and wrong.

●ACTING/CAST
-Kem as Parin was uhh with just robot face, no emotions at all. Who cast him. You see the poster, yes he has that same expression throughout. The low rating for acting is due to Kem's bad acting.
-Mook as Mita was bold and beautiful. The decisions she made were hard but she lived up to them. She performed her mothery beauty with elegance.
-I liked Chanathip. He was a spoilt guy turning into a responsible person, slowly.

●MUSIC
It was OK but not something I remember after watching the drama.

●REWATCH
Absolutely NO, the bad story and bad acting of ML is a sinking ship. It is once a watch drama.

●APPRECIATION
The kids of the drama are the cutest. Nick, Rina, and Pim lighted up the scenes and were so adorable.

●AFTERTHOUGHT
After watching the drama I had thoughts that why FL decided to raise the kids she could have taken emergency contraceptives. Or could have a termination of pregnancy, why do you need to take such a bold step and keep the child. You are young and it is not your fault for falling into evil traps. You have a beautiful life and should learn to forgive yourself.

good watch

●I felt bored since the start and the age gap between the actors seemed so obvious that It didn’t appeal to me. But they still managed to create the magic and chemistry later which I wanted to see, convincing me to finish the drama. They felt comfortable since the start and their acting was topnotch throughout the show.

●The story was draggy a bit draggy with all the secondary couple and brother revenge drama. I wanted more of DATING IN THE KITCHEN than cooking at home. Yeah, that actually irked me because, in the beginning, it was all kitchen food and romance but in later episodes, all three elements went missing. it felt like I was watching some cooking show which later turned to some revenge show.

●Music is breezy and soothing.
●Overall it is a good watch.

watch this to have the closure for the nonsense first two season served

●Since I had binged THE PENTHOUSE season 1 and 2, its but obvious to go for season 3. without watching this how could I even sleep after all the mind f**king bombs dropped in. I had to complete this to give my mind a peaceful rest.

●once I felt as if I was watching an Indian drama with all the nonsense plot, but Kdrama eventually did better and wrapped it up in 3 seasons {48episodes}. it was a complete masala {spicy full of entertainment}

●Starting with the prison life it was full of a roller coaster ride with bitter truths unveiled. But this truth didn’t make my heart melt, because these criminals did so many bad things that it is hard to forgive them and feel pity.

●LIKED
-I loved the 3rd season for giving a complete closure but I hated how some of the characters had bitter endings. Yeah, I knew from the start that makjang tends to give bitter endings but the way it was cinematographed it was painful, the scene turned out beautiful yet painful.
-Everyone got what they deserved except some, who decided to go again make their own fate. I felt they were selfish, and when they were punished they want to run away from it.
-Shim Su Ryun fought for her kids but why would you make her that in the end.
-Come on Alex could have been a doner for Logan he could fight cancer, but losing love is really painful. I never really thought of them as a couple but the story flow made Shim Su Ryun and Logan Lee union a match made me heaven. Their union was poetic to me.
-Jincheon was the winner of all the 5 families of the Hera Club, and I think she deserves it, she took the right decisions and had regretted all the wrongdoings.
-All the kids have now excelled and chosen their path, I was really happy for them as they have realized their potential and didn’t take their parent's path. They are calm, hardworking, and good-hearted. They have really got a very great character growth since season1.
-From the start, I rooted for Seok Hoon and Ro Na, so it was the best thing in season 3. Their performance in the last episode.
-Everyone acting was extraordinary. Cheon Seo Jin's last scene was breathtaking.
-Actually last episode was really special, all of the scenes gave me major tears.

●DISLIKED
Joo Seok Kyung was one of the stupidest characters throughout the 3seasons. She thinks she knows all but she really knows nothing about the kids around her or the adults. She was like a caterpillar in the cocoon, who thinks it can scare people, but the world outside is way cruel.

●AFTERTHOUGHT
●This drama is not for everyone, you have to keep logic aside and see the depth of greed of humans which sometimes eat up your soul turning you into a monster.
●Thanks to the writers for cracking up my head with this mad story which TBH entertained me too.

LEFT MY LOGIC BRAIN ASIDE

● THE PENTHOUSE 2 is equally entertaining as the first season. This season had got more secret desires and ugly truths revealed. Each element has gone extreme bitchy fights, slaps, and lots of betrayals. And my mind would say "what kind of nonsense is this" but then it was also hooked up to know what happens next.
●This drama not only focuses on the main leads, however but also focuses on the other characters in which is giving them all a moment to shine in the series. It feels like the story focuses on all the supporting characters to make the main lead the supporting characters and vice versa.

●LIKED
-The family of Oh Yoon Hee, Ha Yoon Chul, and Bae Ro Na, although it lasted a few episodes it gave a breather in the crazy world.
-My favorite character was back because I cried so hard for them.
-Opera singing on the stage of females, Cheon Seo Jin, Oh Yoon Hee, Bae Ro Na, Seok Kyung, Jeni, and Eun Byul.
-Bae Ro Na and Seok Hoon chemistry
-Na Ae Gyo and confident, badass revenge plot.
-Seo Jin and Yoon Hee working together
-Fast-paced with the f**ed up plot twist.
-This season gave a lot of space to the teen generation and they showed their wide acting skills.

●DISLIKED
-Opening scene was very dramatic.
-Ha Yoon Chul betrayal, I started liking him a bit but then he ruined it all.
-Overdramatic shouting and music, my ears would bleed with such high pith noise.
- Ending because it was a cliffhanger and bitter.
