Maybe my sense of appreciation is out of whack.
I've just binge-watched Death's game.
It's like when you're driving on a freeway at 250 km/h, take the exit and reduce to 50 km/h. It feels like nothing is moving.

baaah, it's kinda the Xth same kind of drama than many with goblins, foxes, gods, etc.
Using same tropes and slowmo, or staring scenes, or "oops I kissed you by accident". 😅

Yep, that was a good line.

He uses a flashlight, but at this point, he could just turn on the ceiling light, lol.

There is interesting plot development it's true. But this episode was damn boring.
Well, except the cliffhanger of course.

We get the explanation in this episode: it's because he's becoming human. So his memory come back and progressively, he looses his powers. For doing that more fun, his powers are now "unstable", so could fail at the wrong moment.

EP 07 was really sleepy......

I take that as the story the author want to tell.
Using the Death character in some way.
If I had to write a story with a Death character, maybe I could use a benevolent god.
And some lines showing Death is the ultimate forgiving god.
What is the opposite of the Death we have here. A bit petty god.

It made me think about greek mythology. Or the hell of Saint Seiya.

You can watch the first scene. Is just what? Two minutes?
Just that is convincing about the tone.
It was enough for me to know I wasn't in a Xth instance of fantasy-romcom.

I suppose my goal is to do the same in reverse??! 🤔🙄

From the first scenes, I've got a big goosebump when she says the law as her first speech.
I feel like this drama will be awesome.
