There is interesting plot development it's true. But this episode was damn boring.Well, except the cliffhanger…
Maybe my sense of appreciation is out of whack. I've just binge-watched Death's game. It's like when you're driving on a freeway at 250 km/h, take the exit and reduce to 50 km/h. It feels like nothing is moving.
The story has no substance, but the lead actors are doing a great job of keeping viewers engaged.
baaah, it's kinda the Xth same kind of drama than many with goblins, foxes, gods, etc. Using same tropes and slowmo, or staring scenes, or "oops I kissed you by accident". π
Idk if things should happen magically everytime they need them to... for example, him loosing the powers in difficult…
We get the explanation in this episode: it's because he's becoming human. So his memory come back and progressively, he looses his powers. For doing that more fun, his powers are now "unstable", so could fail at the wrong moment.
the story is a thrilling adventure, but the underlying themes and fear-based approaches to suicide prevention…
I take that as the story the author want to tell. Using the Death character in some way. If I had to write a story with a Death character, maybe I could use a benevolent god. And some lines showing Death is the ultimate forgiving god. What is the opposite of the Death we have here. A bit petty god.
Since 8.5 is the new 6.5, is this worth watching or is it another junk show hyped by fangirls as the best show…
You can watch the first scene. Is just what? Two minutes? Just that is convincing about the tone. It was enough for me to know I wasn't in a Xth instance of fantasy-romcom.
I started to watch "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" AND... Every ppl here "boo hoo hoo, her acting is the same"... WAS CRAZY BAD FAITH. Wrong at everything. You dare to say this??!! When there is nothing in common ?!! And we suffered your lazy comments, EVERY WEEK !!!
I know the concept is derived from Good Doctor but... Because Castaway Diva, I just started that. And WOOOOOW!!!! From the first scenes, I've got a big goosebump when she says the law as her first speech. I feel like this drama will be awesome.

Nah nah... I'll just watch the drama and enjoy it. ππ
I wish you to succeed! π

Death revives you by killing you. Some twisted logic in this. π€©
