okay i absolutely loooved the webtoon, but i think that so far this is actually quite better than the webtoon!…
I liked so much the drama that I've read 20 first chapters of the webtoon. And you are right. I could see the changes. And even at one point, it changes totally. It keeps some intro, plane and school life, with improvements, then, it's different. I like the director used more continuity in the different lifes, with characters bouncing into each other. The main character is less trashy, and a big change, he breaks-up, not her. I can feel the director want to tell also his own story.
watching my demon was a struggle. dropped it so fast
That's not fair. Kind of overhype effect. Until now, I don't remember to be bullied here. I critizised some dramas, being (a bit too much) annoying by listing the points why it doesn't work. But no one burned me.

There is a lot of plot. And writing is good about links, foreshadowing, revealing elements. Some good lines for comedy. But also a bit too much overthetop moments for me. Some people don't like some tropey characters, but I'm ok with that. Well, it's not the point to speak about that here. Meet you on the right thread for that. ;-) Let's enjoy this amazing "death's game" here. 😘
I'll do it! I swear I'll do it. Think I'm joking? Sounds a joke to you?! I don't make threats in the air. See that.... I have the finger on "Attorney Woo" video. Will press "start" now!! 3... 2... 1.... BOOOOMMMM - OFFICE TIME !!!
Well done, drama. You sabotaged my "My demon" watching. Will sound flat now, compared to this........ I should change genre and go for an office drama. What else could I do?!
this fantasy/ thriller supposedly drama is hilarious.. poor man..
What I like in this: there is no comedy, right? No real classic comedy scene. However, some situation are good comedy, with irony, or black comedy, in a light way. I think about the paratrooper death, or various other cruelties, like wake up in a baby.
Dropped at episode 13 because wtf was that plot twist?? It had its issues, but it was still a good drama then…
I had the feeling the drama was a bit lost before, unstable or lacking a direction (ep 7 to 12). But this plot-twist made the continuation better. Goals and ennemies well defined.
I could find some seriousness in the fun of Penthouse, but 7 escape is more a travel in a realm of absurdity. And the whole drama feels like this famous scene on the island, with psychedelic drugs.
I still had fun, when the writer shamelessly throw any idea for the sake of overdramatism. Like: Mone run with her little daughter, and a truck turns into the street. Cans from its skip fall by dozen, threatening to crush them. It's totally random, as if trucks did this every day, everywhere. Just for pressure, so she can protect her daughter.
The drama is surrealist, I don't have other words. I like the hellish pace, there almost isn't a single scene without dramatism, people screaming, fighting, clashing, or serious event. I couldn't count the number of impossibilities and plot-holes, but was ok as long as the narrative remains logical. So what I disliked is a problem here: when K is revealed in a press conference, why they keep saying he must protect his secret? There is something that doesn't make sens in this bag of acceptable non-sens.

It varies a bit from goblins, nine-foxes, gods.

Give me kdramas at least as good as this one, and I'm happy!

Then it's a quite addicting drama.
